TS1382 have a new iPod classic, did have nano, have an iTunes acct., but when i connect my new iPod to computer it will only transfer music not playlists or music videos ... what am i doing wrong?

You may want to check ur settings. when you plug in ur ipod make sure it is highlighted then at the top of the page you will see tabs Summary Music Podcast Info....click on the MUSIC tab...in that box there will be 2 options:
Sync Music
Entire Music Library
Selected playlist, artist, albums, and genres
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CHECKED OFF ENTIRE MUSIC LIBRARY

You can only import photos from the camera roll into the computer. Is that the album that you are seeing?
Any albums that you create on the device itself (the iPad that is) cannot be transferred to your computer. iPad created albums do not contain copies of your photos but merely pointers to those photos so they do not actually exist in those albums. -

I just bought and downloaded a tv show but it will not play more than 37 seconds worth. Why?
Are you certain you finished downloading it? Typically, the download is huge and may take a long time.

I have an ipod touch 8gb that is disabled. on the screen it reads ipod disabled connect to itunes. But when i connect it to itunes, it says that it cant work with the ipod because it is locked with a passcode. what now?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If all your synced media like apps and music is in your iTunes library then simply:
- Backup to iTunes.
- Restore the iPod from that backup.

I have just upgraded to Mountain Lion and my signatures for my Mail are not showing up. I have the signatures inthe preference panes and selected for the email address, but when I make a new message, the signature shows as none and doesn't give me a choice. Yesterday, the signatures were stacking instead of switching to the one I wanted to choose.
I had this and fixed it.
I had upgraded to Mountain Lion and my signatures in Mail were fine. But then about a week later, I got a new computer and used Migration Assistant to copy my stuff to the new machine. Upon opening Mail, I had all the correct Signature information in the Preferences>Signatures window, but nothing worked.
After lots of hunting, I found the Signature Folder. It's in:
Yourusername>Library>Mail>V2>MailData>Signatures
Looking at my previous setup (which works) I saw in that folder two types of files: .webarchive and .siganture
Looking in my new machine's Signature folder, I saw only the .webarchive folders, not the .signature folders
Since this was literally a clone of my previous setup to a new machine, here's what I did:
1. Quit Mail
2. In Problem machine, go to
Yourusername>Library>Mail>V2>MailData>Signatures
3. Move the Signatures folder someplace safe, but out of the MailData folder
4. Get the Signatures Folder from the working install (like a backup) and copy it to the MailData folder on the problematic machine
5. Start Mail on the problem machine
This worked for me. I don't know why Migration Assistant didn't copy the full signature folder, but this fixed it. It worked perfectly partly because I had just backed up with Carbon Copy Cloner and the very next day set up the new machine. I don't know where Lion or earlier versions of mail stored signatures, but the absence of the .signature filetype seems to be the problem.

My old laptop crashed. I was able to recover my itunes folder but when I installed on new laptop it did not have my playlists. Lists are on my itouch but am afaid if I connect and sync I will lose my playlists. Help

And if you add the media into a new library, or didn't manage to recover it all you may have problems syncing your device without losing data. Those issues are addressed in the user tip Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

I'am doing a poor man's morph project on my motion 4 program, and it works great while in Motion, but once I try to import it to fcp, it will import the photos but not the optical flow fx, what am I doing wrong? Decided to use cmd A to select all the icons on the desktop and then looked for a right click option. There it was - the option to move to a folder. I now have them all in this folder which tells me it holds 157 items. Now you know why I needed to know LOL

• Select ALL - Clips and Audio
• Go up to Sequence and down to Render Only - down to Mix Down Audio
• then Sequense and Render Selected - Both (Video and Audio)
• then Export and as QuickTime .mov (NOTHING ELSE)
• I use to do - Not Self-Contained as it saves both time and space
Your Start-Up (Mac OS) Hard Disk - Needs lot's of free space to work OK - I never go under 25Gb free space on this one,

You are correct that is what I'm talking about. I did install it.
Now I can't get the check box in the preferences security panel under the tab "general" that allows "automatically update safe downloads list" to stay checked. Each time I unlock and check the box and then relock and close, the check mark disapears. This is the problem. -
