TS1389 I cannot get authorize my computer to play. It does not come up anywher ehta ti can find. Help.
i AM TRYING TO GET A NEW COMPUTER AUTHORIZED TO PLAY MY ITUNES LIBRARY. WHEN I SIGNED IN TO MY ACCOUNT I WENT IN AND DEAUTHOIRED AAL TO GET RID OF MY PREVIOUS EQUIPEMENT. NOW IC ANNOT SEEM TO AUTHROIZE THIS COMPUTER. HELP PLEASE!

When in DFU mode and connected to the computer iTunes does not say anything but iTunes will see the iPod and you can restore the iPod via iTunes. When in recovery mode and you connect, iTunes will say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

my calendar will no longer let me add new event or delete them, it comes up with an error saying "cannot save event, no end date set" or "event does not belong to that event store". can anyone help with this?
Hi,
To configure your ODBC DataSource, go to Control Panel ---> DataSources(ODBC) (If you are in a Windows environment).
Select the tab System DSN. If you have not added your data source, then do so by clicking on the Add button. If you have added the datasource, click on the Configure button to configure it.
Give the datasource name, then the database name.
You have to give the hostname, service name and server name. I guess, in most cases, the datasource name and host name will be the same, service name and server name will be the same. If you are using TCP/IP, the protocol will be onsoctcp.
There will be a file named Services under C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc where you have to give the port number for accessing this server.
It will be like this <service name> <portnumber>/tcp

Authorize this computer to play iTunes songs not working so well
I've downloaded a few of the "Free" songs from the iTunes Store and later when I go to listen to them I get a window to log in and authorize my computer to play the song. Problem is, I am logged in. And even if I log in again, I then get a message that says my computer is already authorized.
Now the fun part. Sometimes after I log in again the song will start playing. Other times, no luck.
I have tried restarting the computer and iTunes and neither seems to improve the problem. I also recently updated iTunes to version 8.0.1.

TJSeveral users have reported this issue since the release of iTunes 8. Some are able to sort out the problem temporarily by restarting iTunes, or by restarting the computer. I'd suggest the section of this document regarding removing the SC Info folder:

I think you might be experiencing something different, which is actually more or less expected behavior of iTunes. In your iTunes program, click your Store menu at the top and choose View my Account. Enter your account info, and when you get to the Apple Account Info page you should see a button that says "Deauthorize All." Click this button, which deauthorizes all computers (whether they be 5 tangible machines, or one machine taking up several authorizations) and then go back and see if you can authorize your desired computer(s).

I cannot connect my hp photsmart printer. The "Nearby" option does not come up on the screen and it won't respond when I type in the name. The computer's wireless is working as well as the wireless on the printer.

Open iTunes
From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer. (In earlier versions of iTunes, access this option from the Advanced menu).

Why is it that Apple can't get their bluetooth technology right? I cannot connect to my Honda Civic VTI-L 2011 model using the bluetooth? While I can do that using my cheap Nokia phone ($59.00)? I shelled out $380.00 and this is what I get...

Iphone connect to other devices as well. I connect via bluetooth all the time to my car. Like any other phone, it does not connect to ALL devices for ALL purposes.
You seem to have very little understanding of bluetooth technology. Perhpas you should read up on bluetooth before you begin a rant based on your ignorance of the subject. -

What more is there to say? I was given an address to use in a project I am working on. It does NOT include www in the address. Every time I try to get to the site, I enter the address and firefox inserts www into the address and if I click on it, I am informed that firefox can't located the site try again, maybe I misspellled it, etc. Since I copied it directly from the e-mail I was sent AND I have gone to that site using the link provided in the e-mail I KNOW I can get there and it would seem that the site exists.

How do I get a virtual lab to work on this computer. The technician said the CD is not compatible. Maybe corrupt. He seemed he did not know

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. -
