TS1389 I have done all the above but I still can't get Quicktime to play a HD movie I purchased on itunes. I get error message "This computer could not be authorized to play [movie title]"

I have looked extensively online but can't find an answer yet.
I also tried playing the HD movie in VCL Media Player. I select the movie in finder, right-click to Open With VCL. Window opens with Library menu on left and first item in the menu is Playlist. HD movie is listed in the playlist. I select Play and counter at bottom of window starts counting as if movie is playing but nothing else happens.
Help greatly appreciated.

Tried some more movies in my library and it seems that all movies purchased in the iTunes Stores UK with my iTunes UK account wont play in Quicktime (or VCL media player). These movies will play in itunes.
This is cleary a DRM issue but don't I have the same legal rights to play my movies regardless of which iTunes store I purchased from?

You can't change the Apple ID that the Authorize dialog comes up with by default. It's showing you that Apple ID for a reason: it means that the items you want to play were purchased using that Apple ID and therefore you need to authorize your computer with that Apple ID. Changing the Apple ID given completely defeats the entire purpose.
If you don't know the password to the given Apple ID, then you will no longer be able to play those items.

Itunes wont sync error message this computer is not authorized

itunes will not sync my purchased songs to my new ipod touch, i get an error message that says, "some of the songs purchased cannot be transferred, this computer is not authorized, go to store, then authorize this computer." I have done this over and over again, I have even deauthorized and then RE authorized again and again, I still get the same message. Can someone please please please HELP ME?

I have been renting movies on my MBP and a previous MBP for years, and have always been able to transfer the rentals to an iPhone. I always rent on the MBP and not the iPhone. However due to a NEW authorisation problem recently I have not been able to play these movies through the Apple TV (V2) like I have been doing. Others on the Internet have also started having this problem. I have to resort to airplaying the movie from the MBP over to the Apple TV, which is a royal pain. What's the point of having all this gear in the family room when I have to get up and go to the office and start the movie playing from there?! Anyway, also recently I have not been able to move rented movies to the iPhone. I have tried recursively chmodding the Shared folder as described here

So now, if we go on a long road trip or flight, we can't bring the rented movies on an iPhone/iPad. This is a big problem. No I am not going to bring the laptop on the trip. The iTunes library is on an external disk on the LAN anyway.

What do you mean that you can't "call" an iPad in the UK?? That doesn't particularly make sense. You can email to an iPad or text them, but the iPad is not a phone, so how do you expect to "call" them??

Try perform below steps.
Open task manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys. Click on more details if the option available.
Then end all Adobe related processes, including Creative Cloud and Coresync ( if running )
Then hold windows key on your keyboard and Press R key.
It will open Run window
In Run window, type Appdata and click on Ok
Open Local > Adobe folders
Delete AAMUpdater and OOBE folders
Then navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Delete Adobe Application Manager and OOBE folders
Go back to Program Files (x86) and Open Adobe folder
Try deleting Adobe Creative Cloud folder, if it is not allowing rename it to Adobe Creative Cloudold
Download and install Creative Cloud App from below link

If you are seeing something overlayed on the exported image, this is probably not caused by the badges overlays, but by a watermark.
Check your export preset, if a watermark is enabled. In the "Export" panel set the "Export Preset" to "Edit" and check the settings for the preset you want to use. Disable any watermarks.

Is the new hdd at least as large a capacity as the original? Can be larger capacity, but sometimes smaller will cause error.

I have deleted qttask, quicktime.nsi, itunes.msi. I have followed all the direction at retrovirus.com. I have downloaded and run the Windows Install Cleanup utility. I still can't remove Quicktime using "Add/Remove Programs," and i can't install iTunes or Quicktime (without iTunes). I have tried everything, the latest versions downloaded today (Saturday). And I'm still told that the older version can't be deleted.
I'm about to reformat my C: drive and reinstall Windows and all of my applications, just so I (may) get iTunes back. IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THIS TO WORK?

OK...I can't remove QT from the Control Panel, and doing the above didn't change anything, though I appreciate the help... But in regedit, or Win Explorer, I can still find a lot of QT files. Can I safely delete all references to QT manually and try to reinstall the iTunes update? Will this screw up other apps? This is my last incremental step; next I'll have to reformat my C: drive and reinstall Windows just to use iTunes. Seems like the long way round, y'know? But I don't know what else to do. This is taking up way too much of my time.

If you are trying to reset the device then iOS 7's new security requires you to enter the passcode for the device. This prevents a thief from resetting a stolen phone and selling it new. If you cannot enter the correct passcode, then you can reset the device.

You are downloading the Flash installer, which I think itself downloads another installer, which may again download something else that has to run. Adobe's installer is one of the worst pieces of software on the PLANET.
That said, the problem is that you are not actually running the installer and letting it update Flash. Doing so will force you to quit Safari in the process.
Go look for whatever Adobe downloaded to your Downloads folder and run it.
