TS1389 Why not make apple-id available in the iTunes app list view ?

Can't apple add the apple-id field to the list view for apps ? This would really help in case different ID's are used to install apps. I know the ID can be seen with the Get-Info option, but doing that for 200+ apps to find one that won't sync is a pain !!

That is a good question. It is not possible with the current iTunes, but you could suggest it to Apple at the iTunes Feedback page.
When you submit, set "Feedback type" to "Enahncement Request," and explain what you would like to see. I think it may be relevant to all content types, not just apps.

Why is my artwork only available in the iTunes store???

I've scoured the forums looking for a solution to this problem but no luck. My podcast artwork shows up fine in the iTunes store. However, when a podcast is downloaded to a client, the artwork doesnt come along with it. Any itunes client will simply show the generic podcast image instead of the image that appears in the store. Therefore, no artwork ever gets to an ipod.
Does anyone know why this happens?

This is a common source of confusion. From Apple's tech specs:
The itunes:image tag is not supported at the item level. It is possible to include art within individual episodes, but the art is included within the media file’s metadata, not in the RSS feed. To add artwork to an episode using iTunes, highlight the episode and select "Get Info" from the "File" menu. Click the Artwork tab. Then click "Add," navigate to and select an image file, and click "Choose."
What this means is that the image that shows on an iPod is like album cover art for song files, so you add the artwork to your podcast file before uploading it to your server.

(1) Firefox's built-in post-crash page has not been a real HTML page for a long time (for example, from the time of Firefox 22, see: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/968212 Want to save LOTS of versions of "Restore Session.xht" from the "oops ..." page for later use]). If you had this working differently with Firefox 25, that might have been created by an extension.
You can check to see whether extensions are disabled or need an update on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. The disabled extensions cluster toward the bottom of the list. To poll for updates, use the "gear" button above the list and choose Check for Updates.
If you used the Reset feature (or Firefox automatically did a reset due to some problem during upgrading), you will need to reinstall missing extensions. The reset feature creates a folder on the desktop named Old Firefox Data. Do you have that folder? There may be data you can recover from it.
(2) There are many ways for history to get cleared, both internal to Firefox and external. Could you double-check your Privacy settings?

This is the problem with extrapolating personal experience to generalized statements about a product that has been sold in the many millions in dozens of countries around the world. the new search interface in firefox 34 and upwards does address exactly this situation and is optimized for that scenario - you type your search term and select the search engine you want to go it to & you're done (if you want do do a search with the default engine just hit enter). in the old interface you needed at least one more click for that action...
please also note that for the moment at least it's still possible to change back to the old interface in firefox 34 and above:

If this did not happen you can then do as you suggested going to settings to itunes and app store and add your apple id login. This apple id login must have already been created for the iphone to accept it. If you try by Ethernet you can verify if the issue is with your WiFi network or if your appletv is defect as most users do not suffer as you do

Can I develop an iOS app that can download multiple free iBooks that I publish and make them available within the iBooks app?

My organization is evaluating publishing some free training manuals / textbooks as iBooks made with Apple's "iBooks Author" software. We don't necessarily want to use the iTunes Store for distribution because of the semi-sensitive nature of the content. To distribute the books to users with iPads, we've thought of using MDM software, a webpage, or an iOS app. The reasoning behind an iOS app is that the app would be a "download manager", making it much easier for a user to download all 42 books all at once. A user would install our "free training manual download manager" iOS app and use it to authenticate to a our server app that would serve the books, the end result being the books available via the iBooks app.

Actually Apple lets self-publishers distribute iBooks outside of the iTunes Store, as long as the iBooks are free (no cost to user).
What I'm wondering is if it's possible for a custom iOS app to side-load iBooks so that they're available to a user within the iBooks app.
If not, we'll either post the iBooks for download from our website or we'll use MDM software to push the iBooks to MDM-enrolled iPads.

You can only buy content from your own country's store i.e. the Egyptian store if you are in Egypt - you need to be in a country to use its store, so to use the US store you will need to be in the US and have a US billing address on your account. If there is an app or any other item that you would like to be buy that isn't currently available in the Egyptian store then you can try requesting that it be added, but unless the app's developer or rights-holder agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

Why isn't Apple acknowledging HUGE delays downloading iTunes Plus tracks?

After dozens of posts regarding these problems, still not a word from Apple, here on on the iTunes site.
And of course no fix yet.

Apple is making a bad situation worse by neither limiting demand (sales side) nor increasing supply (more servers).
First and foremost, They just cannot shut down and limit purchases, it doesn't work good of a solution. They just can't get more servers either. You don't just buy a server and hop that it solves the problem seconds after you hook it up.
And it's not a line, with first to buy being first to get downloads -- it's a mob scene as more and more people are trying to download.
A mob scene entering a pipe, thats restricted by bandwidth.
Based on my experience, I think things are getting worse -- of the 32 tracks I purchased, I got 4 in the first 24 hours and have gotten none since.
Plus tracks have only been available for less than 2 days. There are millions of iTunes customers and many of them are using a service that was highly anticipated and demanded. Its like Christmas's with people getting new ipods.
This was my first transaction with the iTunes Store, and I must say I am horrified by how poorly Apple is handling this situation. Do you complain when Best Buy or other retailers are mobbed with people after thanksgiving and after Christmas???

How to make some computers available on the Internet? Remote Desktop.

We have 12 computers (VMs) that are used for training. They are configured with the software to be trained on and are set up just the way we want them. We are looking for a way that we can make these computers available to the internet so that someone can Remote into the VMs to go through some training courses. We do need to be able to control who can get onto these machines so we don't have random people logging into them. We handle training through a GotoTraining type system and would provide a link to each of the attendees.Does anyone know if a way to do this?It could be as simple as a list of 12 links that we tell each person to click a link. It could be as fancy as having the person click the link and having them put into any machine that doesn't already have someone in it.This could involve installing some sort of 3rd party...

See to diplay any Grid,charts,bar..... it need to fetch the data from the database servers that means if your in netcafe also .......it need to be connected to the netwrok were it can fetch the data from.
so having the link is not sufficient ....... you need to have the authorization to the xMIIserver from Net cafe.
