This is just more Apple hand holding for newbies and pushing their way, Microsoft tries the same thing "unsigned developers" and it failed.

you can copy the files from your host to virtual machine
you can create a iso file and mount it to vm
you can share the source files and access as a share

I have an official visual studio software on a CD. I copy the CD content to a disk. How do I install the visual studio from the disk?

I tried to install it. However the installation software ask me to insert the CD in the CD Drive. I did, but the installation software hanged there. I try to use the subst command. However I can not map the disk folder to a CD Drive. Is anyway to get

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

Hello leosherifi, there will be an option in your phone itself for updating the software(SWupdate). Or else connect your phone to PC using Nokia suite then use the update present in it. If the update is available then only you will be able to update.

This is even easier than installing Windows XP from a USB drive, and will also reduce the time taken to install Windows 7, it took me about 15 minutes!
The advice in the guide is also applicable to installing Vista.
You need basically:
a USB flash drive at least 4GB in size
a Windows 7 DVD
To sum up:
Format your USB drive, with the NTFS filesystem
Open Command Prompt as an administrator, and run the Bootsect.exe program off the Windows 7 CD to make the USB drive bootable
Copy the contents of the Windows 7 DVD to the USB drive
Restart your PC, press F11 (or whichever key it is) to access the Boot menu, and select your USB drive to boot from

i get the booting files(archlive.img,vmlinuz26) in the archlinux2008_6_i686.iso and put them in c:\
in the grub command mode the use of these code:

Do you have a USB stick you could copy the image to? Where I live, a CD costs $0.50 at most. To put that into perspective. A coffee costs a $1.00. Either a CD costs a lot more than a coffee where you live or are you telling me you'd rather get a lot of grey hair than buy half a coffee?
Sorry I can't be of much help. I don't know how to do this method of installation. If you're desperate, you could try making an extra partition, and trying something with that. Take a look at these:

This is the best I can do. This way you can use the 2011 MBA way to do things.
Look for the post from @jacktourist. (on page 2 about half way down) This seems to be the easiest.
There are a couple of more similar to this with pictures I've seen around but can't remember where.

Seriously, you need to copy the files on to your Mac and then transfer them to the appropriate app on the iPad. This is the procedure for DATA files.
"Office for Mac" is a group of applications written for the Mac and will NOT function on an iPad. Consequently, there is no way that you can get it onto the iPad.

macjack gave you the easiest solution. Need to have admin privilieges to change this option.
