TS1398 Apple iPhone 3g, iOS 4.2.1, Wi-Fi Problem
I have an iPhone 3g. After the update to iOS 4.2.1, my phone no longer has Wi-Fi. I can't conncet to my home network or any network for that matter. I have tried everything from resetting network settings, resetting the router, forgetting the network, and as far as restoring my iPhone. Now, my iPhone does not even pick up my home network name at all. (Maybe every now and then but very rare). What am I to do? Should I go and see an Apple Genius? Will that cost since I no longer have a warranty?

Jbms1982You CAN NOT get it unlocked. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. AT&T will NOT do so. You can't use that phone on any carrier other than AT&T. Sell it and buy an iPhone that you can use. ALL iPhones LEGITIMATELY sold in India are unlocked.

IPhone 5 iOS 7.1.2 cellular network problem after reset
It was working just fine before I resetted my iPhone..I'm running on iOS 7.1.2 iPhone 5 32gb.. Does anyone know what cause this thing to happen?
it just a fully reset using phone itself..and I did ask apple store n the did the software fix and nothing change..still network prob..no service, searching for network, got reception but cant use it, got reception but stuck on edge and bla bla bla bla..wifi working just fine.. i did ask technician about this matter and they said if software fix doesn't fix anything then it's totally prob on my board..but seriously just a reset totally ruin my network..???i did go to my carrier provider..did replaced the new sim and bla bla..still the same.. So please anyone guide me on this and if someone know how to fix this I really appreciate that..thanks a lot.. Mine no more warranty..There is something wrong with version 7.1.2 cause my 4S has issues after updating to 7.1 with Bluetooth and WiFI (they disconnect)... its impossible to go back once the first version 7 is done... sorry... you have to, either wait for an update from apple or make them change your phone! I had to change 2 times my phone 4s before i realized it was after the update.

Iphone 4 / ios 6.1.3 with 3g problems
i have iphone 4 with ios 6.1.3, when 3g is open i don't have connection to network both for cellular data and for telephone. When 3g is closed i have telephone but of course not data. any help..
I picked up new iPhone 4S at AT&T (iOS 6.1.3), verified I could make calls and went to Best Buy to get 4S case.
Surprise - cannot access Weather or Web (message saying no internet connection)!
Resolution - got home and my daughter searched Apple Support, found a workaround.
Workaround - turn on Airplane Mode for 10 sec. Turn it off.
Then 4S picks up cell signal, shows 4G (not LTE) and internet is on. -
IPhone 4S IOS 5.0 on ATT: audio problems when making a call
I have had recent problems with the new iPhone 4S regarding calling audio and mic. In Bluetooth mode, the BT symbol changes from blue to white and there is no audio when the call is made. At this time, I cannot select another source (BT, iPhone, or speaker). Sometimes I can hear the other person. I completely turned off the Bluetooth on the iPhone and experience the same problems. Signal strength is excellent. Anyone else having the same issues?

IPhone 5, iOS 7.0.3 music sync problems
Okay so recently whenever I sync my iPhone 5 to iTunes it tends to avoid three songs, those song are checked and everything and I cant figure out the problem, the three songs are: "Monster" by Imagine Dragons, "Monster" by Skillet, and "Hero" by Skillet. These songs are on my phone already but they dont move over to playlists when I sync, and when I put them on the playlist with my iPhone then next time I sync it removes the song from both my iPhone and iTunes playlist, but when I put it on with iTunes it just doesnt show on my iPhone. This is very frustration and I hope someone can fix my problem.
After updating my iPhone 5 to 7.0.3 a few weeks ago, this issue has been bugging me. Finally got it syncing on mine after all this time. Simply unchecking the Sync Music and applying and then checking it back on and reapplying did not work.
What I finally did:
1) Uncheck all the playlists that are checked AND uncheck the Sync Music and then click Apply.
2) Then recheck the Sync Music box AND recheck the desired playlists and then click Apply.
(You may have to unplug the sync cable and plug back in before step 2. I had to do it on occasion, but sometimes I didn't and it worked fine.)
The caveat is that apparently you may have to do this everytime you want to add a playlist or song. Also on occasion I found an issue where I click on a song but it would play another one and moving to another song would play the song I wanted to play previously. I did a reset and it played correctly after that.
It's an inconvenience for now until a certain company fixes the issue. Hope this helps. -
Apple iPhone 5 cable saying "this accessory may not be supported"?
Using the Apple Lighting cable I specifically purchased off the Apple site with my Apple iPhone 5 (IOS 8..1.2) so that I would have at least one charge cable that would work with my computer and my phone. But at last I have been mistaken. Everything I plug my phone in with the Apple cable it informs he that "this accessory may not be supported"? Does anyone know a solution to this problem. I know i've emailed Apple about this once before and magically it started working for that night but its yet to wok since with my computer. I know the cable works just fine as I use it ever day to charge my phone with my wall adapter so I know the cable itself must not be the problem.

If you see an alert
When you plug in your device, you might see one of these alerts:

Look at the connector at the bottom of your device and make sure it’s free of debris, then reconnect the USB cable.

Rest everything is synced from pics to tones but only music doesnt sync.Most movies go over the 100 MB cellular download. Do it using computer iTunes then sync to you iPhone provided you have enough space.

Yes the phone belongs to me. It was purchased from United Kingdom Vodafone to West Africa, i had to factory unlock to use any sim in it. so it belongs to me. I did the activation myself, now after updating my iphone to the latest update, it required a user id and password to activate the phone, but anytime i enter the details, it tells me the user Id is not correct but the password is correct..

I have apple iPhone 4S upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 and everything was working fine suddenly my Wifi was not connecting and found the wifi on/off button is greyed out and to enable it I tried all resets but still my problem have not solved, still wifi is off
Same here.... No fix. Replacing is the option apparently and if you're out of warranty, you're SOL. That was as per the "Genius" at Apple.

i had recently followed orders to restore my iPhone 3gs (iOS 6.1) from a question on apple support. However it was working fine before that, it's just that my phone didn't have signal. So it said to restore my iPhone and now it says that the Activation server is temporarily unavailable and when i plugged it into my mac, it said that i ddn't have a sim card installed. What can I do to fix this besides bring it to the store? it also bugs me because this answer was supposed to work but it just messed my phone up even more.
