TS1398 cannot turn on Wi-Fi

I cannot turn on my Wi-fi on my Iphone.

There are many, many threads on this forum about this issue. Do a forum search for "wi-fi greyed out" and see if any of the solutions therein will work for you. Best of luck.

I tried what online service says but still doesn't work. hard rebooting by pressing the menu and power button,reset all networks, even reset the ipad to manufacturing setup like new still doesnt work. I tried already bringing it to the store but service was Beeeeeeeeeep! I waited and waited like I see ten service guys and called genius area and no one want to help and I ask its been 45minutes since my appointment and I was told to reschedule me. anyone? :-(

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

in my "setting" under "wifi" the option to turn the wifi ON no linger is illuminated and i cannot turn it on.
it gives me no option!
can someone please tell me how i can fix this as i have already reset the phone 5 times, turned it off 10 times and tried everything possible

Cannot turn on computer from Cinema Display. Why not?

I have a G4 and recently bought a new 20" Cinema Display. To hook up I needed an ADC to DVI Adapter. Everything works except:
1) I cannot turn on the computer from the Display. I can only do it from the computer power button, whereas I could with my older Studio Display. Why is this?
2) If I put the computer to sleep, I can't wake it up with the touch of a button on the keyboard. Nor will it wake up by touching the Display power button. Once again it will only wake up if I press the computer power button. Is this normal?
3) If I put the computer to sleep by pressing the Display power button, nothing will wake up the computer. It stays asleep. What the heck is going on here?

Cannot turn on icloud backup after downgrade to iOS 7.1.2

I own an iPhone 4S which I upgraded to iOS 8 on 21st September. The iphone and most of applications (even phone) crashed all the time so I decide to downgrade to 7.1.2 after following instructions found in these communities. I did it just yesterday.
Now I cannot turn on iCloud Backup to my iPhone. The iCloud drive of course disappeared from Settings > iCloud, however it's still visible when I access the iCould in web. Moreover in iCloud web interface my iPhone appears as running iOS 8 and X Yosemite which is not true. My iPhone has 7.1.2 iOS.
I tried to erase my iPhone and restore it from a backup I made yesterday but I have the same issue: iCloud could not be enabled. It was enabled finally after hard reset but when I select "Backup now" the app crashes and throw me in the Home Screen. I see a message: this iPhone has never been backed up on iCloud and the last backup could not be completed.
Please help!!!!!! I want to be able to have iCloud Backup (most important settings and contacts, sms etc.) as I did usually before upgrading to iOS 8 and downgraded to 7.1.2.

Been experiencing the same problem, finally fix it by deleting your old iCloud backup from iOS 8.
Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage > Click on your device name > Scroll down to bottom > Delete this backup.
Then try to turn on the iCloud Backup setting toggle again.

When trying to activate iPhone Cellular Calls, I get the error "cannot turn on iphone cellular calls error, FaceTime and iCloud must be signed in to the same Apple ID to use iPhone cellular calls" I am signed onto the same accounts in both places and cannot figure out what is wrong. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

If you're trying to make calls from a mac, then you should make sure to enable FaceTime calls from your AppleID (email address) on both the mac and the iPhone. Don't uncheck your phone number, either. FaceTIme should be enabled on both devices with both your phone number and your AppleID.
For some reason, this is what had to be done for me to be able to make phone calls from my mac without receiving this message on my iPhone. I know it isn't ideal because we shouldn't have to enable FaceTime calls via AppleID, especially if we won't be using it with our AppleID, but this is what worked for me. Once you enable FaceTime calling from your AppleID on both the iPhone and your mac (while also keeping the calling enabled via your phone number), then try to turn on iPhone cellular calling on your iPhone. It should work, and then you can try to make a cellular call on your mac.
Some people may think that this isn't a fix because they might think I am talking about FaceTime audio calls. But I'm not. Try this and report back if you can.

First, uninstall "SuperTV" (whatever that is) according to the developer's instructions. It isn't working and it's filling the log with noise.
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. We've an article that provides the following troubleshooting steps that may help stabilize your iPhone.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.

I have problem with my Ipod touch when I upgrade it with ios 6. I cannot turn it off. I have alrealy followed the troubleshooting instructions to press both the off/sleep button and the home button but still it will not turn off. I cannot use my ipod anymore for it is just hanging up.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
