TS1398 I can not find my wi-fi network at home?
I keep losing my wi-fi connection at home. I did the whole reset on my phone and now I can not find my network. How do I do that I have Xfinity?
Have you studied and performed all steps in the TS1398 article above?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Hi. I have updated my computer to Windows 8.1 and now suddenly my Apple TV can not find the computer, it says "turn on the home sharing". Both of these are on, iTunes and Apple TV, what to do? It was working perfect before update.

When I turn on my Imac it can not find my wireless network automacally, I have to seclect it manually. Apple support has not been apple to find the problem. I also have an MacBook Pro and have no problem with this laptop finding my network everytime. Does anyone else have this problem. This problem started within the last month.

System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed. -
Computer can not find 6310 scanner on network
6310 all in one working fine both printing and scanning then all of a sudden Photo smart can not find the scanner on the network. The printer continues to work fine. How can I get both of my network computers to fing the scanner ?
Sorry for not getting back. I tried all the suggestions and could not see the server. It was not showing up in the ipconfig /all except when I queried at the server. I could not get a successful ping from the client either.
However, a little digging, and some conversations with prior admins of the domain, I have determined there was no real domain. The 2003 server was there in name only, the client pc's were just doing their own thing and just using shared folders in the server.
The domain controller was a Qwest (telephone company internet) modem and still is because the guy who programed it will not give me the password until we can meet and he can see what I am trying to do -- go figure that one.
However, all that being said I was able to change one client pc's hosts file and add the server static ip and name and then like magic the "//server2012/connect" worked just as advertised. So I connect that pc, a user for it and the server
is acting just as it should for that pc, the old server and itself under the right domain name.
I still can not get to the outside world with remote web connect as the Qwest Modem is blocking the connection; my guess is the right ports are not forwarded. My solution seems to be getting access to the modem and transferring the DNS, and probably the
DHCP, control from it to the server 2012.
So I appreciate the help so far, but I feel I can not really ask for more help until I get control of the whole network and perform some more diagnostics. Should I close this question and open a new one in the future when I have one?

Apple tv can not find my hidden wireless network
Am trying to install Apple TV 2nd generation.
I use a hidden wi fi network.
I enter the name of the network when prompted, but Apple TV says it can not find the network.
All other devices in my home have found the network.
What could be the problem?Just disable the hidden network feature so that the Apple TV can see the SSID .Once connected you can reset it .By the way a Hidden Network isn't a security feature .

TS1398 iPad and iPhone can not find AirPrint on my network
Both my iPad and iPhone are connected to my home Air Extreme Network. However, when I try to print something from either of these devices I get an error message telling me it connot find the airprinter??? Any thoughts?
ThanksMy printer is a HP DeskJet 970 Cse. It works great with my iMac and Mac Book Pro on my Air Extreme Network. I must admit I had a time getting it to work. this Apple computer system can be a lot more user friendly if you ask me. All devices are Apples and I have to do a dick dance to get everything to work together!!! That is BS!!

when i unzip the oc4j_extend.zip, i can not find the orion.jar under j2ee/home diretory, how can start it?You're absolutely right. For some reason orion.jar isn't in that distribution. However there should be an oc4j.jar file in there, which behaves exactly as the orion.jar file would. So, any place in the documentation where it refers to orion.jar, just substitute oc4j.jar.

My iphone 4 suddenly can not find any wi fi networks. My laptop finds the network in my home but not my phone. I’ve tried resetting the Network, and software restore but sill having the same problem. Before I go to the Apple Store Genius Bar, any suggestions?

Can not connect iPad 2 to wi fi IConnection works on other devices. This device is searching and can not find Wi Fi to connect too
It does connect at other Hot Spot locations. At home and here at my office, I have At&t DSL & Wireless,Motorola 3347 Router. Computers hook right up to wireless with no problem, I just can't get ipad to connect. Password is rejected. I build a project using Netbeans 5.0 and make a jar file with it...
The code in the project as follows will throw an exception described that it can not find the file named datasource-config.xml
String dataFilePath = getClass().getResource(dataFile).getPath();

when I run the project with the main() function as an entry it works perfectly and output:
filepath:/C:/projects/java_project/search/build/classes/com/cn/wxjt/lucene/config/datasource-config.xml
But when I compressed the project with jar and run it , it will show:
filepath:file:/C:/projects/java_project/search/dist/search.jar!/com/cn/wxjt/lucene/config/datasource-config.xml
there is a (!) between search.jar and /com/cn/wxjt...
I dont know why I generate a ! symbol in the file path... Is it cause the exception->

the resource is the directory inside the jar file.
when i prints the url it shows:
the jar file is in the WORK directory

now when i creates new File using the url.getFile() method the file does not exist.
although the same programs runs well when i uses the InputStream
so plz tell me cant I create a new File from the above method????
