TS1398 my iPad will not connect to wifi since the ios7 upgrade

Since updading my iPad to iOS7 I cannot connect to WIFI. I have put the device in airplane mode, reset newtork settings per other suggestions but it didn't work. I have powered the device off and on. I have reset home router. iPhone 5 still works as I refuse to upgrade to iOS7 for now.
Finally got it working. Continued following the above steps and it worked. I've tried this at least a dozen times with no success but all of a sudden it worked. I hope it continues to work.

A soft reset is basically holding onto the power button and the home button simultaneously together for about 10 seconds or until you see the screen flash and it should go completely black. Afterwards, tun the device back on like normally and see if that fixes the problem.

iTunes and the App Store are two different apps/stores. I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. If you want to buy apps - go to the app store. If you want to but media - music, movies, TV shows - go to iTunes.

Ipad will not connect to WiFi

I know my WiFi connection is working fine but I can't get the Ipad to connect to it. It was fine until I tried connecting an Airport Express using the Ipad, went through the whole tutorial and at the end I got the "unexpected error ocurred" message, I canceled and unplugged the Airport, but now the Ipad will not connect to my WiFi, please help!!

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

i have an ipad but for some reason it will not connect to my wifi network. It is showing my network on the network page but will not connect to it just shows the circular icon loading. i have an iphone 3g and an iphone 4 they both connect to the same wifi network everytime no problem, the ipod used to connect to the same wifi network but not anymore ive tried re set etc but still nothing can anyone help thanks

After updating my wife's iPad to iOS6 the ipad will not connect to wifi on certain wireless routers. What can we do? Also, same for iPad mini with same router. But iPhone that has iOS5 has no problem connecting.

Need help. Before updating to latest software iOS6 the iPad had no issues connecting on our home router. After updating the iPad will not work. We have a mini iPad with same issue. But I have a iPhone 4S that I chose not to update to iOS6, still has iOS5. It connects no problem to router. Our computers have no issues connecting to router either. There is a software issue with iOS6.0.1 that will not allow certain routers to communicate. What can I do? Also, the mini iPad stated a newer version of software is out, version 6.0.2 which is supposed to correct the wifi problems. It has helped but still haven't connectivity issues. However, the iPad states software is up-to-date so we cannot update to 6.0.2 even through connecting to computer on iTunes. How can that be?

With any wi-fi network or with your wi-fi network?
If your wi-fi network, try resetting the wireless router and modem. Disconnect the wireless router from the power source followed by disconnecting the modem from the power source. Wait a few minutes followed by re-connecting the modem to the power source and allow the modem to completely reset before re-connecting the wireless router to the power source and allow it to reset with the modem before trying again.

I don't have this exact issue. Mine will connect, but it drops the connection all the time. It's really frustrating. Searching for a solution, I've come across a few things that might help you. You could try turning off the wifi in settings and then turning it back on, going into the settings and restoring network settings, and going into settings and renewing your lease. I tried all of those things and none of them fixed my problem, but a lot of threads here mention them, so I assume they work for some people. I hope this helps!

My phone will not connect to WIFI all the time, but if I cut it off and go thru Verizon network the it's fine. Everyone else in my house does not have this problem even tho they have same phone as me. I have restarted, reset, rebooted and done everything

My 4S will get on internet but will not connect to any site including the App store or I tunes. If I cut Wifi off and go thru Verizon network then it is just fine. It is very slow loading tho. Everyone else in my house connects just fine.

I can understand how connecting to Wi-Fi is very important to maintain better control of your GB. I appreciate all the troubleshooting you have already tried to get this issue corrected. I just got new router and had to reset my network settings on IPad. Since then, my ipad will connect onto the main home network but will not attach to my extension booster (netgear) which is linked to the home network. It will also not attach to networks outside my home that it has previously worked with. i have reset the settings again, powered off and on again, updated to the latest IOS update, but nothing is working. Please help, as I can only use wifi in a few rooms in my house and i do not have 3G on my my ipad.

Did you try forgetting the network and starting all over again?
Settings>WiFi>Network Name>Tap the blue arrow>Forget this Network. Restart your iPad and then try joining again.
Try rebooting your router. Even though everything else may be connecting to your Network, it might help with the iPad. Unplug the router for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
Reset Network settings on the iPad?
Settings>>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to start all over again, Tap WiFi in the settings, find your network and enter the password.

You're on a PC?
Go into the control panel, add/remove programs. Uninstall iTUnes, Apple mobile device service, Apple Application Support. Then redownload and reinstall iTunes and see if that fixes it.
If not there are more indepth things you can do.

And now having once again reset the network, turned off and on the airplane mode, reset the wifi network, reset the brightness, and reset the iPad....... it is working again. What exactly fixed it is unknown.

already tried restarting, resseting network setting, and restoring the phone. when i'm having problem with the connection and i restart it, it will greyout the wifi. only re-appear if i resset network but wont solve the connections problems.the phone have not been on any accident or in contact with water. it started since the ios 8.1.1. Also have and ipad air and iphone 5s and they would connect normaly on the network.. I cannot upgrade yet on my carrier.
