TS1398 My wifi joins, but then it brings up apple and says "this page is not avalible"
Ok, so I was updating my ipod to OS.6 and when I try and join into my wifi, it has the signal sign at the top, then it brings me to apple, with a page that has a header saying "Sign in" then it says this webpage is not avalible.
Same thing is happening to me, this is getting very aggravating

I just got a 120 GB ipod classsic and it wont appear in my itunes source list and it appears in my computer.I have tired the 5 R's already.But a pop-up appears and says windows times out and i need to have my ipod for today.PLEASE HELP ME ASAP
if you have just got it most places give ipods a 1year garuntee so take it back to the shop to have it looked at pls put this as correct answer

I have followed the directions given on the Apple support pages and the ones provided in this community, but they do not match with what I get from the Airport Utility. According to the dorections, after starting a soft restart on the Airport Extreme, I should select the network from the menu bar item (which I suppose is the symbol for wi fi). Then it says to open the Airport Utility and select the Airport Base Station, ok up to now. But the instructions say that after selecting the base station to "click Continue". In my Airport Utility, which is the latest version, there is no Contimue. When I select the Base Station I get a bubble with information on the base and an "Edit" button. By clicking on this button, I am able to get a new window with info on the Base, inlcuding password, but I never get the window which says that the device has been reset. I need help, as I have bought a second Apple computer and need the password to set the wifi preferences, and I forgot the password for the Airport Extreme.
You're doing everything right. The problem is that the Apple Knowledge Base article is outdated and the screenshots do not correspond to the new version of AirPort Utility.
If all you need to do is find the password for the Extreme, you can do that by following this procedure. Use the Mac that is already configured to connect to your Extreme's network.
You can retrieve your existing wireless network password from a Mac you normally use on that network. Your wireless network password is stored in your Mac's Keychain.
You must first have an Administrator account on a Mac that you use with that AirPort Base Station, one that is used to connect to your AirPort network.
On that Mac, open the Utilities folder. Find Keychain Access and launch it.
In the search field at the upper right, type Airport. All the Keychain entries for your base station will appear there, as well as other entries.
Look at the column "Kind". The entry you want to select will be labeled "AirPort network password" (not "AirPort base station password" or anything else).
If you are trying to recover the AirPort Base Station password then the entry you want to select will be labeled "AirPort base station password" not "AirPort network password".
Double-click that, and in the window that appears check the box for "Show password".
You will get the following window:
In the Password field type your Mac's Administrator password - the same one you used to log in to that Mac.
Then, click Allow, and your wireless network password will appear in the "Show password" field:
Make note of it.
Close the window, then quit Keychain Access. -
I have an ipod touch, i had it since christmas of 2010, My wifi has been PERFECT until a few days ago and then now, the blue wifi thing says i am connected, but when i go to safari it says that it's not. help? : )

I hit "Turn Passcode on" and then enter the passcode I want. Then it brings me back to the Passcode Lock Screen, NOT turning on my passcode. Now this iPod touch is a gift from my family, used before me. I set up my iTunes account, but when i view my Apple account it's not showing up. Is this the reason my iPod isnt working? Please help.

When I get to the login page on my macbook, I type in my password and it starts to load, but then the screen turns blue and it goes back to the login.
Iv tryed this numerious times still keeps going back to pasword. Can not get any further. Tried restart holding shift key.. still nothing. What do i do?Thank you for your help.
I couldnt get to the hard drive/ desktop. Soft login not even working. So i could not do any of that.
In the end i took it to Apple and its actually the hard drive on its way out. A common issue with that series of Mac. Funny seeing i dont use this mac much. However being 2.5 years old and out of warrently, Apple have recognise this issue with this series/ Model and installing a new hard drive at no cost.
Very luck and greatful. And not feeling so dumb that it was something i did or could troubleshoot myself.

My Fire Fox will only open in xp sp1 but then it will run slow and freeze up when i try to view a link, i have just about given up with this problem as i have tried every thing that might fix this problem.
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
If this doesnt work, may you please reply and respond with a list of things you have tried. -
I have a Iphone and I want to downloa a game but it's over 50MB so it says you must connect to wifi or download from a computer so I downloaded it from the computer and the computer says the downloads done but the app bar is empty and says "waiting.."
Need to Resume download to complete the ongoing Process.
Last Resort, put the iPhone in DFU mode (Google How to do that). Connect in iTunes. Follow on-screen prompts to Restore. All Data would be lost, if not backed up earlier.
To save the photographs you may have to use third party software. Google is your friend. -
When I tap on my Facebook App on my IPad it tries to open up but then it goes right back to my home page and will not open up. All my other Apps work ok.How can I fix this ?
Try deleting the Facebook App and reinstalling it.

I've tried a dozen times to update from 3.1 to 4.2 and continue to get a corrupted message from iTunes. Please help
I only have a desktop, an iPad and the touch. No other prob. Downloading or updating. It appears to be with iTunes only as it will go thru the 15 min download but then will end with a message saying its corrupted try again later. I've scanned the computer and no other issues.
