I have tried all the recommend solutions I could find in the Apple Support Community. I noticed a couple of weeks ago the iPad was acting funny about connecting to the internet via the Wi-Fi. The past two days, it wasn't able to connect to the wireless router at all. It recognizes that the wireless router network exists, it just can't join. I tried the re-boot method. I have re-set the network setting on the iPad back to factory. I even thought my old wireless router may have issues and bought a new one yesterday, and the iPad actually worked for about 24 hours and now I am back to the iPad not being able to connect to the wireless router. I have re-entered the wireless router from scratch thinking that there may have been a bug in the setup. I have removed the security settings from the wireless router to see if that may have prevented the iPad from connecting but got the same message "Unable to Join". I have cleared the cookies and data, as that was also a recommended fix, but that didn't work. I also connected the iPad to the computer so that I could check for the latest update. iPad has the latest version, so that solution didn't work. Does anyone out there got any other ideas, or are you experiencing the same problem? Is there some known issue that I am not aware of???

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

TS1398 Unable to connect to AT&T Uverse router
I am unable to connect to AT&T UVerse router with an IPhone and IPod.
I have an IPad that is connected just fine.
On the IPhone & IPod I notice that in the Network Settings for WIFI these fields are not populated: IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router. The DNS & Search Domains are.
All fields are populated on the IPad.
How can I populate those fields myself. Of is they supposed to be automatically populated through my wireless connection? I asked AT&T but they could not help. These fields should be automatically populated if DHCP is selected. Make sure DHCP is highlighted, if not tap that tab, then try to reconnect. If you still can't connect, tap "Forget this Network", then try setting up the network connection again.
If the above doesn't work try rebooting your router by turning it off for about 30 seconds (you may have to unplug the power cord), then powering it back on. -
TS1398 unable to connect Bluetooth in keynote remote
I am unable to Connect my iPhone to my iPad using keynote remote. I have selected "allow remote control" on both devices. When I try to make Bluetooth connection neither device find the other.
Hi dchyrel,
I am having the same issues with a 2012 Mazda. It seems loads of people are having the same issues with a huge variety of ca makes and models. Since iOS8 came out, loads of people are discovering the car connects with the bluetooth of the car as you can play music, however phone calls are not possible. I've been dealing with Apple since iPhone 6 came out about this. If you do a search through Apple Communities or even a google search there will be pages and pages of complaints. Apple assure me they are working on a fix. No idea when that will appear, but hopefully very soon. Hopefully in the future Apple will test all aspects of their products prior to release. At the moment though (in the car only), the iPhones with the iOS8 upgrades are proving to be terrific iPods for cars :-( -
TS1398 Unable to connect to home wifi
I'm unable to connect to home wifi with iphone. My computer is able to connect as usual.
Buried deep in that link is a suggestion to turn the router off and on again to reboot it. This should be the FIRST thing you try, not the last. It will usually resolve the problem.

I have checked with others in my office, who are on the same network and have the same iphone and they all seem to be able to connect to wifi.
But have you tried turning your ROUTER off and on? -
My iPad can no longer connect to Wi-Fi (anywhere)...at home, I get a message that says "Cannot scan for networks" -- and at my office...I get a message that says "Unable to join the network". Other mobile devices are connecting fine at both home and office. Any suggestions?

My Ipad Mini will no longer connect to the wifi at work. It did when I first got it but now it just displays unable to connect. What gives? I work at a hospital and the wifi is not password protected and my mini connects fine at home. Please help!
Some of these won't apply to your situation.

2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

I am unable to connect wifi on my phone 4s since last 2 weeks... I am living in shanghai and did not have this issue since 2 weeks... iPad works fine... Please suggest some measures... Tried the on off reset settings etc. but no luck ...
In fact after updating the software to the latest version I am having more of this... Sometimes the wifi button freezes an I can't even slide it to on / off...
ThanksNoooo! Actually I too had d same prob wit my iPhone 4S. When I connect to my wifi network it won't get connected or it wil be grey scaled! I took it to d istore and since I had warranty they replaced my IPhone. It iPad charger has high volt than ur iPhone charger so when u connect wit it, there is a chance where large amount of current passes thru ur iPhone. So for sure it wil damage ur motherboard and its parts! Many said that iOS 6 or 6.0.1 or 6.1 was d reason for tis wifi prob! But apple never made its mistake wit it's software. If and only if u hav hardware prob u wil hav these sort of wifi prob Bluetooth prob! So best way s to replace ur iPhone!

My wifi isnt letting me connect to it and i have no idea why. It was working just fine before i restored my ipod
If not this:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem.
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
Then
Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Does the iPod see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
