TS1398 why is no one face timing me I have invited people
greetings apple this is stephen greathead I just got the apple ipod touch 6.15 software with the facetime app but no one wants to face time can you please help or face time me so I can learn more about how it works so far no one has facetimed since I've had the device
Something else, FaceTime only works with Apple devices.

Why can't I block certain people face timing and imessageing me? I keep receiving random facetime calls every 5 minutes got to the point where I have has to turn facetime off.
I'm having the same problem, but it's also coming through on my computer, through my Apple email address. I have a very short Apple email, and little kids are trying to facetime their little friends, and then when I tell them I'm not their friend, they FaceTime or iMessage me even more, thinking that I'm still their friend, and I'm just kidding around.
I can't block the kids before they call...I don't know who they are. I want to restrict my FaceTime to only my phone number, and block all FaceTime and iMessage requests that are coming in through my email address. Can I do that?

If you have the WiFi-only iPad (which does not have GPS) your location is determined by the mapped location of nearby WiFi routers.
Without GPS location-finding is done by using a Apple location database which contains the MAC addresses of routers and their physical location. A MAC address is a unique number which is built-in to all network devices when manufactured.
The Apple database is built and updated by Apple GPS-enabled devices (primarily iPhones) actually seeing routers and then adding/updating the router's locations into the database.
Note to be used for location determination, a device does not need to be actually connected to a router, it just has to see the router. More precise location determination can be done if several nearby routers can be seen. When a router is moved from one location to another erroneous locations can sometimes be reported until the router's location is corrected in Apple's database. This may be the source of your problem. -

DO NOT UPGRADE TO MAVERICK UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DEPENDED ON APPLE’S CLOUD. It removes the ability to sync Calendar, Notepad, and Contacts between your apple devices. You then can only sync them via Apple’s Cloud. For those of you like me, that do not want to be depended on an external data base accessible via the Internet or Cel Phone (with data charges).
Why do I not want to use the Cloud to sync and backup?
1. I found I only have one device with me at a time or am sitting at a computer when I add to my calendar, make a note, or add/change a Contact. Syncing with iTunes while upgrading apps and doing a back up to two external hard drives worked great and met my needs.
2. I use WiFi and pay for the minimum data plan with my Cel provider (AT&T). I do not want to pay higher monthly data fees.
3. I do not like a central data base (that will be hacked someday) having the personal info I have in my Notes, Schedule, and Contacts.
4. I like the security of my most important data being on my own hard drives and written off to Data DVD’s, not subject to even rare central system outages/failures.
5. I do not like the prospect of becoming dependent on a Cloud in which the provider could decide at any time to either start selling information or charging monthly fees to recover the costs of providing the cloud.
I am reluctant to go to the trouble to go back to 10.8 because Apple will eventual stop providing updates to 10.8 and 10.8 compatible applications.
PLEASE APPLE, GIVE US SYNCING VIA ITUNES BACK!!!!!! Why take away one of the most valuable features of iTunes???? Why take away our choice of syncing via the Cloud or locally with iTunes????You will need to contact Apple through their feedfack channel. These are user to user forums, sorry.

Make changes in your deployment descriptor to include multiple faces config files:

In Prem. Elements 8, how can I zoom in on one face in a slide?
I am putting together a slide show in PE 8. I have a slide with multiple face and want to zoom in on one face. I don't want to zoom in on all the slides so I don't think I want to use presets. Is there a way to do it for one slide? I also have PSE 8. Thanks for any help.
For Zooming into a still image, you will want to Keyframe the fixed Effect>Motion>Scale and probably also Motion>Position, unless that face is perfectly in the center. You will Select the Clip/slide and go to the Effects Tab, where you will choose Edit Effects, and that will show you the fixed Effects, like Motion (with a triangle to reveal Scale and Position), Opacity, etc. Place Keyframes where you want the Zoom to start, and where you want it to end up, and adjust the Scale for the latter.

Can i make more than one faces-config.xml file under one project or application, if yes than how it will link.

In the second week of july I was taking the Jdeveloper/Jheadstart course at Oracle Netherlands. During that course we were asked to split the faces-config. After splitting it, we were not able to find the navigation rules that were defined in the first faces-config in the web.xml. The Jdeveloper IDE was confused........
However, we were able to use the navigation rules (type in manualy) and that worked in the application.
I talked about it with Steven Davelaar and he thought it might be a bug. I don't know if it's reported, and I don't know if it's fixed.
So, if you get confused.... it works, but Jdeveloper might have some problems with it.

help! imovie media browser only has one option, "Mobile". other videos had option for medium and small. mobile option wont import into iDVD. other videos gave me the Medium option, why not this one? need answers ASAP!
That is your answer then.
Large is 960x540
Medium is 640x480 (or 720x480)
Mobile is probably 480x272.
It is offering you the sizes that make sense given the size of your source material.
As a trick, you might try this. In your project, put a short 640x480 clip in the project as the first clip of the project. Then keep the rest of the project as is. See if it will let you share now in Medium. It will not look as good, because there are not enough pixels to cover the Medium size, but it might work. -

So does it really make sense that i should buy these apps again after i already payed an extra amount of money in the first place to get a model that includes them ??
