i cant be able to connect to wifi.. cos i cant turn on the wifi i have tried the steps i read in support section and still didnt work

    having problems with IPhone speaker, not working when switching phone calls to speaker mode, any suggestion?

    One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem. A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
    Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
    Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
    Power up
    Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
    If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

    Otherwise:
    Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
    Does the iOS device see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iOS device connect before?
    Try the following to rule out a software problem:

    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

    If a restore did not fix it, you have a hardware issue--possible bad wi-fi radio.
    Basic troubleshooting steps.

The phones screen doesnt work at all. so it's stuck and cant be slide. but the weird stuff here is it when to the emergency call itself and start pressing number. did put some lock code so currently the phone is now disable since it keep on pressing the code itself. i try to rebot and it still the same. try to switch it to dfu mode but cant. by the way i realize left part of my screen start fading. Any suggestion guys?

  • Trackpoint does not work after switching from the tablet to laptop mode.

    I use my tablet to run a smartboard. Sometimes when I switch to the tablet mode and back by reversing the display, the trackpoint and mouse keys stop working. The touchpad below it still works. I am running windows 7. I have gone into the control panel, under mouse, and both the trackpoint and touchpad are still both checked. ?? When I restart the functions return.

  • T400: Internet does not work when switching networks unless reboot?

    Hi everyone,
    I can't seem to establish an internet connection when I switch networks (e.g., internet at work, then at home). It gives me an error saying "limited connectivity" or failed to renew IP. This happens for both wired and wireless connections. 
    I tried turning off the firewall (comodo internet security) along with the windows firewall. I tried letting windows handle all my internet connections. Yet the error still happens. So I just have to simply reboot my laptop, and everything works 100%. 
    I never had an issue like this with other laptops. Could this possibly have something to do with some of the bundled Lenovo software? I disabled most (if not all) of them since I barely use them.

    I had a similar problem with my T400.  What wifi card do you have installed?
    I had an Intel 5300.  Networking was OK with XP Pro installed, but messed up with either Vista Ultimate 32-bit or Vista Business 64-bit installed.  All were Lenovo OS images.  I tried 2 different 5300s.
    I only saw the problem with wifi, but basically if I changed access points or changed from wired to wireless, the first attempt to use the (new) access point would fail to get an address.  An immediate reboot would cause it to succeed.
    I finally got the issue escalated to a 2nd-tier tech.  He sent me a 5100 to try. That fixed it.  I doubt it is a hardware issue.  It is most likely a Vista/Intel/Lenovo software issue/conflict.  IMNSHO, ThinkPad wifi w/Vista is a mess.  One of the most fundamental laptop features should work much better than this.  Many folks have T-series wifi problems and Lenovo seems to be ignoring it.
    Just to add to the excitement, I told a friend buying two new T400s to order 5100s to avoid the problem.  He did, and got the machines with XP installed.  They both exhibited the same bad behavior    Once he updated XP and all the Lenovo stuff, they started to work OK and have stayed OK.  Grrrr.....

  • Keyboard character does not work - cant enter password to log in

    I have a new Blackberry curve.  Unfortunately the e key is not working (possibly after condensation forming on the device).  
    Luckily my password does not contain e  
    Unluckily I entered the password incorrectly.   And now I have to "enter BlackbErry to continue" 
    Unfortunately I cant type the E.    
    Any way of figuring a way to get round this, either by getting the E to work,   or by circumventing the "BlackbErry to continue " check?   Thanks

    I got a text saying my switch from regular to Fibre was complete today at 4pm but it's not 11pm and my phone is not working nor my internet
    Is this normal ? I understand the connection will be temporarily stopped for the Internet but the phone too ? Sorry if the answers are on the forum but I'm just a tad confused at the minute

    It can officially take until midnight for the switchover to happen, so there is a chance you may still get the services tonight.
    However, there is also the chance that Openreach have messed it up. Essentially, if you've still got nothing in the morning, contact Sky and report it.

  • OS X wifi not working until switch users

    My OS X wifi does not work until I switch users. This occurs very intermittently and does not go away until I switch to another user account. I tried ping, nslookup, and dig with terminal. The ping returned "unknown host." The NSLookup does not give any output and neither does dig.
    I have tried to flush the DNS cache also but that did not work either. The problem only occurs on that single user account, and does not move to any other account.

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

    Being under "Mobile Network" you would think it wouldn't affect it but it does.  In order to use wifi you have to have Data Services turned on.  It's always been this way...
