TS140 RAID-Driver for Win7 32bit

Hi, i will install Win7 32bit on a TS140, Model: 70A5. I try this one: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/servers/thinkserver-tower-servers/thinkserver-ts140/downloa...
Then i get an error message that this driver is not working with the os.
What is the correct driver for RAID in a TS140 Server with Win7 32bit?
Many thanks.
Markus

Can you please give full model info - it is 10 characters (6 more following 70A5) ?

The driver from intel website doesn't work.

This is an Intel Wlan software (not WLan driver)
You can download it directly from Intel page and it works since it worked on my notebook too.

  • Need RAID driver for k8t master2-far package didnt come with disk driver

I bought the K8T Master2-FAR and the VIA VT6420/VT8237 Disk Driver was not included. I'm trying to install WinXP64 but I need the raid driver before I can. I went to the download section of msi and select my board but the drivers are all 32bit when i tried to use them. There are several 64-bit drivers on the msi cd under Adaptec and LSI but not sure which one of these would work for me. Can someone show me where I can get the correct 64-bit raid driver for my board?

  • Win 7 x64 Driver for a 32bit CF Cardbus Adapter (x61)

Does anyone know where I can get a Win 7 x64 driver for a 32bit CF cardbus adapter mounted in the Lenovo x61 internal multicard reader?
I am running Win 7 x64 on a Lenovo X61 7675-CTO.  I have an Viking 32 Bit High Speed Compact Flash Cardbuss Adapter inserted in the internal multicard reader.  When I insert a CF card in the reader, I get  "Mass Storage Controller" and "drivers for this device are not installed" error indicators from the Windows Device Manager.
This configuration was working fine for me under Win XP x32.  I read the suggestion posted to another thread that one can downgrade to Win 7 x32, but I am hoping for a X64 solution.  I have already installed the "6iio10ww" Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver for Windows 7 (64-bit).  The problem seems to be that Viking has not released a x64 driver for this product.  It seems Microsoft should have installed the proper driver during the OS install since this device was around before the Win 7 was introduced.
Can anyone suggest a source for the proper driver or an alternative CF card cardbus adapter known to work with Win 7 x64 OS?

    Thanks!
Apologies for now double-posting: new thread

                                                                                               thank you very much

    Hi:
Try the XP driver.  You will probably have to manually install it as follows...
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-46934-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&...
Download and run the above file.  Close out of any error windows.
Go to the device manager and click on the Multimedia Audio Controller needing drivers.
Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.  Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and then at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
Click on Have Disk and browse to:  C:\SWSetup\sp34210\SMAXWDM\W2K_XP\smwdmCH6 and select the SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio from the list and see if the driver installs.
    Then reboot.

  • Need Creative SB Live! value (WDM) driver for win7

    hey,
? i just upgraded my PC to win7 and am looking for ideas to get my sound card (Creative SB li've! value (WDM) working again - is there an updated driver or?do i put another Win7 compatible Sound card?
    thanks,
    ? ramesh

Re: Need Creative SB Li've! value (WDM) driver for win7] the driver and applications that exist for the package are very crippled. The card is very very old, even though I loved mine when I first got it. The headache and workarounds that you would have to use in order for that card to simply function are not worth your time.
I am not here to market, but in the last month I have been switching between my Dell OEM xtreme Music, my X-FI Titanium and my Fatality Gamer Pro Platinum. The last two are great cards and have worked for me at least, flawlessly in Vista and Windows 7. I admittedly use the Daniel K. 2.0 pack as a base for my software install of all three, but that coupled with the newest Creative issued driver have worked beatifully.
I picked up my Titanium off Ebay for $40.00. I bought my Dell OEM card for $30.00. I bought the I/O bay for the X-FI Fatality for $25. So your options are very open. That old li've will not accelerate sound well at all for Direct X based games, and you will be very disappointed. Again, all this is opinion, but I have been switching intensely between the above cards lately, and they are worth it. I do not have digital speakers, like the Logitech z-5500's. But my four year old pair of Logitech z-640's sound fantastic. I tried even with my onboard sound just for giggles. It was just that:? giggles.
Try this for a great price and fantastic performance.

The above link is not my auction but it took me about fi've seconds to find it.

    Hi gryloo,

  • GE60 0ND missing RS driver for Win7

    Hi,
I'm performing a downgrade from Win8 to Win7. I've installed all the drivers except for the Radio Switch driver which is listed on the MSI site & supplied on the drivers dvd for Win8 only.
Can someone upload/direct me to the correct driver please.
The notebook is a GE60 0ND (ms-16GA) with bios v5.04. The MSI www has bios 10.E listed???
    http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GE60-0ND.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win8%2064
Have found nothing with google & can't force the win8 driver...
    Thanks

You don't need the Radio Switch driver for Win7 it is only needed for Win8: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/hh450832(v=vs.85).aspx
That's why it is not offered.

  • Qosmio G30-175 - Where to find RAID driver for Windows 7?

I have a Toshiba Qosmio G30-175 and I need a raid-driver so I can install Windows 7. My operating system is XP and on Toshiba-homepage I can't find the driver.
    Can enyboby help, please?
    Kenneth

I have the Qosmio G35 AV600 and just successfully upgraded straight from XP to Win7 Ultimate (32-bit).
I was having problems finding the drivers as well - as Win7 wasn't recognizing the hard-drives.
I did have a copy of the Vista Upgrade Assistant disk from Toshiba. This helped in removing all of the XP drivers, then was great after installing Win7. Virtually all of the drivers appear to be working fine in Win7 - despite being designed for Vista. The only driver I did upload directly from the manufacturer was the Nvidia drivers - which work for all operating systems up to Win7.
If you don't have the memory stick (or have the Upgrade disk), you can do what I did: When it asks you to locate which hard drive you want to put it on, click on browse for driver, remove the win7 install disk, and insert the upgrade disk. You can find it in the following directory on the disk:
    Download\vistaup\auto\RAIDDrv
It will find it, download the driver, find the hard drives on your PC. Then, reinsert the Win7 media and install.
You should have no problems after this point.
I noticed that they do have a download on the website for Win7 assitance that you may want to try as well - I'm sure it has the same drivers that you would need.

  • Best external hard drive/RAID drive for weddings and events

    Hello,
With all the drive possibilities out there, what would be the best, most reliable, and cost effective external hard drive/RAID drive to purchase for weddings/events and other videos on a single computer system?
    Thanks,
    Jordan

    Brian
Did read your other posts and agree with them.
As we all know, it will depend on the amount of footage and resolution as to how much needs to be transported around. Given that its DV or HDV and I'm guessing only a few hours of fottage then there are a few 2 drive esata boxes about which are as portable as some lacie/gtech drives.
    www.caldigit.com/S2VRDuo.asp
or one of the new GTech drives that have a sata port as well as fw could be good.
Re the 2 bus issue, I would be delighted to be wrong about it. It is through the Avid tech support that I got this info. Todate, I have not been able to get my avid mojo to work on a Lacie PCMCIA FW card at the same time as I have FW drives attached. This seems to sugest that they are not 2 busses, to an avid at least.
Thats why, for portable editing, I am moving towards a macbook pro with esata card for storage and fw free for other uses.

  • Best raid drive for uncompressed 10bit HD?

Anyone know what sort of Raid drive I would need to ingest HD at uncompressed material.
I know I need somewhere in the area of 350mbps/sec speed but can't seem to find any near that spec. So not sure where to look, any suggestions would be great.
    Thanks, Mungo

For 10 bit 4:2:2 you only need to roll like 200MB per sec. It's data rate is around 167 or so depending on the codec/capture card.
SATA drives write in packets so you need higher rates because you might slow down for a sec (look at the graph in Speed Test apps) Whereas SCSI and other drives stream their data... and cost more.
I use the little G-Tech G-speed fiber drives, more money but you can share them on a SAN later if you add a machine. If you will never do that, then go with a speedy sata version. Look at their ES series. I've used 2 of those in a raid 50 with great results. Note: 4 sata drives in a raid 5 or raid 3 will not reliably do uncompressed HD in most situations. Raid 0 is different of course. Now, get Googling.

  • Partitioning a new laptop's RAID drive for scratch disc

I've now set my heart on getting a laptop. I'm doing to much on my old desktop, and getting a laptop is hopefully going to ease the burden & open up some possibilities. Certainly the specs will way better.
I'm seriously thinking about getting a Sony VAIO AR71ZU.
    http://vaio.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct.action?product=VGN-AR71ZU&site=voe_en_GB_cons&cate gory=VN+AR+Series&assetid=1218032875460
It has a lot f features I like & has 4GB of RAM. Unfortunately it's Vista (Ultimate), but that's what things are coming with now, so that's that.
It has 640GB of HDD space:
Hard Drive Type Serial ATA RAID 0 (0 and 1 supported) 2x320GB
    Hard Drive Capacity (GB) 640
    Hard Drive Speed (rpm) 5400
The two 320 GB drives look are joined -"con.... something" ! sorry I've forgotten the name for this- the opposite of partitioning. Hence it the drives are seen as one drive. Well for Photoshop one wants a second drive for scratch disc purposes doesn't one. Can I partition this 640GB (320+320GB) drive ? Anyone out there know ? Is it an ok thing to do ?
[One of the added features is "HDD recovery (hidden partition)". I assume this is the backup /recovery facility that comes with Vista Ultimate ? Anyway, it may be of note, as it mentions "hidden partition. Would this interfere with any partitioning ? ]
If I can partition then would it be wise to go for three partitions: one as the main program drive; one for most documents & files; and one for back-up/ other stuff including for use as first scratch disc ?
    Anyone wise?
    Any advice greatly appreciated.
[I'm also been looking at the possibility of an Alienware laptop, but really I'd rather put that money elsewhere. (Eventually a new desktop but not yet.)]

    Thanks, most informative.
I'm considering an Alienware laptop.(Though, expensive!) One can have the double RAID drive, and there is something called SMART BAY which bascially is 3rd drive. Maybe this is a way around things- perhaps get that & make that for the scratch disc...an expensive way around things!

I' find a lot of drivers for install vista on TECRA S3, but not the RAID DIVER. It is essential for install vista. Can anyone help ?

Maybe Vista does not need the RAID driver? I mean when installing XP on a newer machine you will have to load some drivers but not under Vista.
Did you already installed Vista on your machine?
