You can see which devices are currently set up and/or logged in by signing in at iCloud.com on your computer.  Then click the Settings icon or select your name from the top right, then select iCloud Settings. A list of devices using your account will be displayed.

  • How can I see what apps are running on my iphone 5?

Is there an app that will show me the apps running and also allow me to close apps that don't need to be running?

Double tap the Home button, this brings up the Multi-Tasking bar. Any app running in the backgroud will be listed. Tap & hold any app until they all start to wiggle. Tap the red minus sign to remove the app from the Multi-Tasking bar.
Note: very few apps are actually running in the background...they must be designed to do so. Almost all apps listed will not be running, but rather in their last used state.

  • How can I see what photos are stored on iCloud?

How can I see what photos are stored on iCloud? I haven't used Photo Stream before so there are no photos on there that I can see.
    Help needed ASAP.
    Thanks

If you haven't used Photostream there won't be any photos "actually on iCloud".
Any photos stored as part of an iOS device backup can be viewed on the iOS device after restoring the backup to the iOS device. They can't be viewed online.

  • How can you see what computers are authorized with my account?

Good afternoon. I installed iTunes on my desktop computer at home because I began creating a music library. My first original install was on my laptop and then I decided to add iTunes to my desktop. When I authorized iTunes on my desktop it said it was the third computer that is authorized to play content purchased with this Apple ID.
How do I find out where else I have authorized iTunes? Is there a way in which a person can find out? Does my iTouch count as one?
If I rest the computers authorization will it delete my music library if I did that? I know you can only do it once a year. I am afraid someone else will use my account.
    Thank You

  • I keep getting a message about my phone number being used for iMessage on a new iPhone. How can I see what devices are using my iMessage account and phone number?

The message "Your phone number is now being used for imessage on a new iPhone" Keeps appearing on my macbook pro. It also says "If you just activated iMessage on a new iPhone, you can ignore this alert." But the only option is to ignore the alert, because the only thing I can do with it is click "ok" and dismiss it. Is there a way I can look at a list of the devices using my iMessage account, and if there are devices that I don't recognize on that list, how can I block them from using my account?

Hi If you have another Apple  device check on that screen & accept. Cheers Brian

  • How can I see what computers are authorized for my phone?

I'm using an iPhone 4 on iOS 7.1.  I have a new computer and need to de-authorize one of my old ones to add the new one.  I can't see a list of all the authrozied computers.  My only choice seems to be 'de-authorize all', which I really don't want to have to do.
Does anyone know how to diplay the coputers that are authorized?

See:  "How do I know how many computers are authorized?"  >  Authorize your Mac or PC using iTunes

  • How can I "see" what drivers are currently loaded in memory

I am currently trying to track down an "apparent" memory leak where the performance of my relatively idle Macbook degrades over time due to an ever increasing allocation of wired memory (as viewed from Activity Monitor). Within about two hours of rebooting with only the essential processes running, I see my wired memory continue to increase up to and beyond 700 MB. About this time I experience intermittent spikes in the "CPU-%System" allocation of 25% and more which causes severe lagging in my mouse and keyboard. The machine eventually becomes unusable and requires a reboot.
Because I see the wired memory continue to grow inexplicably over time and I am unable to isolate this to any processes listed in the Activity Monitor pane I have to believe that it is something not "visible" from the AM pane. I have read that wired memory is responsible for hosting the VM objects, the VM buffer caches, the I/O buffer caches, and the drivers.
FWIW, I downloaded "Main Menu" maintenance software from Santa Software and ran all of the cache maintenance scripts - unfortunately, this did not effect any discernible improvement.
My next guess is that there is some ill-performing driver loaded into memory that is chomping on my wired memory but I do not know how to "view" what drivers are currently resident.
Is there a way to view each of the drivers that are currently loaded in memory?
And, better yet, is there a way to view what amount of memory is currently allocated to each such driver?
Any help is much appreciated - thanks in advance!

You would certainly see SOME "depreciation in memory", due to e.g. spotlight indexing and other processes. But it should be nowhere near to what you describe to the point where your CPU fan runs.
Without any further detailed technical expertise, I would assume that it could be a RAM stick that is not working as it should be, resulting in the CPU having to make the extra "effort" to compensate for lack of RAM.
Have you taken the RAM sticks out and reseated them? An dust preventing good contact?

    Any good?

  • How can I see what apps are running on a non-startup disk

I recently changed over to a larger drive from my older startup drive. I want to erase that original drive and clean it up. When I go to Disk Utility and erase it says "erase failed, could not unmount disk". I try to eject it and it says "HD is in use".
I figure I just need to see what's running on that drive and stop it somehow, or if there is another workaround?

If you're willing to use a command in Terminal, try this, where "old_disk" is the name of the old disk. (If the name of the old disk contains any spaces, prefix each space with a back-slash.) It will show you each file on the old disk that's open.
    sudo lsof | grep /Volumes/old_disk
Spaces doubled for readability. The character just before "sof" is a lower-case letter "L". You'll be prompted for your administrative account's password.

  • HT204023 How can I see what devices are attached to my hotspot?

  • How can I see what I'm shooting with my Iphone in realtime on my Ipad

    Hi Everyone,
In a few days time, I need to make a short film with an iphone.
And in order to make things easier, I would like to connect my Iphone to my Ipad, preferably via BLUETOOTH ('cause I'll be shooting on the streets where there is no WIFI and my to have my Iphone function as a camera and a WIFI hotspot doesn't seem like a really good idea).
So basically I'm trying to figure out how to connect my Iphone and Ipad to each other via bluetooth
    which
allows me to see what my camera is filming on my iphone in realtime (or with a little delay) on my ipad.
The Ipad kind of has to function as a second screen/ mirror screen/ remote monitor...
So, if anybody has any suggestions on how to fix that? Or is aware of an App that does exactly that, which is out there, than I would love to hear all about it...
    Thanks in advance !

There is no way to do what you want to so. No such app exists and there is no way to connect the two devices via Bluetooth for the purpose that you want.

  • How can I see what apps I've purchased on iPhone

I tried to buy an app on my iPhone. It says I am accessing the App Store on a "new device." This phone is pretty old (iphone 4) and I've downloaded tons of apps on it so this is making me a little nervous.  But maybe I've never paid for any apps on my iPhone--I can't remember for sure, but I thought I had.  If I haven't paid for any apps before, would this make it show up as a "new device" in the app store?
Is there someplace I can go to see the history of what apps I've paid for in the iPhone App Store?  (I tried going to my Mac Apps account, but it only lists apps I've purchased for my laptop.)
The reason I'm being so cautious is that at one point I accidentally created a second Apple ID and it was complicated getting that sorted out. I don't want to go through that again.  So when I'm prompted to do things that don't seem logical, I'm very hesitant to go along with it.  Thanks for any help.

It should be OK to do that, but I'm puzzled as to why it is asking you to. You haven't erased it, or changed computers?
Try this: On the phone, go to Settings/iTunes&App Stores. Is the Apple ID the same as the one you viewed on your computer?
