Error 27 does not appear to be documented. It could be related to error 26 or 28.

Anyone know what unknown error (-69) is?

My ipod shows the directory icon with the ! when it tries to boot up, but when i connect up the ipod to the comp. iTunes updates the ipod and after a while when updating says the usualy stuff followed by Unknown error (-69). Re-installing itunes hasn't worked, nor re-storing the ipod.

error (-69) is usually either a corrupt song file in your itunes library, or a dodgy connection.
does the update always stop at a particular song or songs? if so, try deleting that song from your library, and replacing it with a fresh copy.
if you can't see any pattern at all to when the connection goes phut, it's probably best to try putting in an Adaptec 1430 card (laptop) or a 4300 (desktop) and connecting by firewire to your ipod. (someone will be along presently to give you relevant links.)

I have seen this once before with OWB. In that case it was due to mixed use of 'level' and 'cost' based precompute specifications. At the OLAP XML level the cube contained both a PrecomputeCondition and a PrecomputePercent value.
PrecomputeCondition is for 'level based' and PrecomputePercent is for 'cost based' aggregation. You can specify one, but not both in a single cube. More specifically, if you have PrecomputeCondition, then you need to either remove PrecomputePercent or else specify PrecomputePercent="0".
Here is what I heard from an OWB developer at the UI level.
If you switch off the level based aggregation on the cube's aggregation panel, that should make you good to go. For each dimension that has levels selected for precompute, just deselect.

When I called the support at AT&T they think the phone is shot and it is a hardware thing but i have a hard time believing that when it happened when I sync'd it to my computer. It did get progressively worse though, at first it crashed not that often and then got worse. So restores are failing, recovery, everything. Anyone run into this?

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (Although the procedure is for Vista and 7 and you've got XP, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)
