TS1424 Downloaded a book. Cannot open book. Says book is protected. Huh?
On my PC, I downloaded a book. It's on my itunes "recently added" page. I cannot open the book. When I click on it, nothing happens. But in the description line, it says the book is protected. Does this have something to do with it? Please help...
On what device are you trying to read it?
ibooks are ONLY for ipod touhc/iphone/ipad.
You cannot read them on your computer.

**try these steps, make sure you remove all components of itunes that it says and in that order specifically.
there are several other steps to try to solve the issue, but this is typically going to be the best option.

Is there a way to restore photos from Drop box to my desktop iPhoto in a large batch instead of one at a time? I tried and a zip file was downloaded but won't open. Says file format not recognized. I see how to do it one at a time with the "download" button in Dropbox but that's so cumbersome for lots of photos.

You may want to take a look at the restrictions section. Go to the settings app and pick general, restrictions. If that doesn't work
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.

Why will my address book not open it says not supported on this architecture
When I clicked on my address book widget a received a note that says "not supported on this architecture" and would not open my address book.

Downloaded the latest version of Firefox on my Mac and it won't open as keeps saying that Firefox is already running. This keeps happening even after I log out and re-boot the computer. I don't understand why if I do a download to an existing operation it doesn't piggy-back onto the old one and function. Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

I have downloaded trial and cannot open the program
I have been issued with a new computer and had a purchased copy of Captivate 8. I am looking to reload this on the new computer to continue my work.
I have attempted to download a trial version with the aim of adding the key after installation was complete.

It seems that you have downloaded the wrong file . As I am not sure about your Operating System , I am giving you the steps for downloading and installation of Captivate 8 for both 32 bit and 64 bit version .

Make sure both the files (.7z and .exe) save/download at the same location/folder.
NOTE: Wait for both the files to finish download and then run the .exe file.
Once you run the .exe, it will start extracting the .7z file and will provide Captivate 8 folder on your desktop which will contain setup.exe. Run this setup.exe to install Captivate 8.
