I just set up my new iMac, and receive error messages when trying to purchase from the iTunes store (error 8003) or update from the App store (error 403 forbidden). THOUGHTS?
I am not sure what you mean by "Flash Player for steam"; the only Flash Player installers I know is the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer) and the plugin (for other browsers); you can find both at http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player- windows.html#main-pars_header

How can I fix error-1202 when trying to purchase itunes?
If you used iTunes on your computer to download the app, suggest you download the app using your iPad. Should then install correctly.

Error message when trying to purchase in itunes
Recently I tried purchasing from the I tunes store. Free applications go through just fine. Actual purchase however give me a message that tells me to contact I tunes support to complete my transaction. The support center however has no useful help what so ever. Does anyone have any help?
In the course of your troubleshooting to date, have you worked through the following document?

Getting error -1202 when trying to connect to 'My Wish List" in ITurnes. Says there was an error in the ITunes store and to try again later. Have no other problems connecting or purchasing......
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It makes no changes to your data.
Please triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
ls -@Oaen L*/Coo* | pbcopy
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing the key combination command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear below what you entered.
The output of the command will be automatically copied to the Clipboard. If the command produced no output, the Clipboard will be empty. Paste into a reply to this message.
The Terminal window doesn't show the output. Please don't copy anything from there. -
Has anyone heard of error 45054 when trying to purchase music from itunes?
Has anyone run into error 45054 when trying to purchase music from itunes?
I had this problem just recently.
I discovered that the problem was located here: ROOT / Users / Shared -- if you open that and the "adi" folder has a little red minus symbol in its corner, your permissions have somehow been lost. (If you can't see your root directory, open Finder Preferences and, under sidebar, check "Hard disks." That will make your root drive visible.)
If the "adi" folder has the red minus symbol, right-click the folder and select GET INFO.
Sharing & Permissions is probably set to "System: Read & Write | wheel: Read Only | everyone: No Access"
If so, your user account has no permissions, and that means iTunes can't use the folder properly.
To fix this, first unlock the folder using the padlock icon in the bottom-right corner of "get info." You will have to supply your admin password to do this.
Then click the little + sign in the bottom left corner to add a user, and select your user ID from the list of choices. Give yourself Read & Write permissions. (Alternatively, you could change the permissions of "everyone" to Read & Write; others have done that, but I was leery of doing it).
Re-lock the folder when you're done.
Hopefully that will solve it. -

This solved my questionRe: iTunes Error (-1202)
Dec 28, 2012 6:35 PM (in response to crossi85)
I am having the same issue on my iMac. It occurred after the last iTunes update. Apple support offered no real solution. They tried "clearing" my Wish List, but that didn't work, and advised me to re-install iTunes. However, I tried clicking the "My Wish List" link on the right side of the iTunes Home page, instead of the one I usually use under the "Manage" column near the bottom of the screen - and it worked! Furthermore, my Wish List was still intact even though they had supposedly cleared it. So, in my case, the problem appears to be the iTunes site, and not my computer. My solution: Try accessing the Wish List from a different link within iTunes. -
I get an error message when trying to purchase addtional icloud storage. All of my credit card and account information is up to date.
This behavior was described here many times.
Apple delivered a technote about that.
Go to my public BOX (address below)
Download :

uninstall iWork '09.zip
Expand the archive then run the script.
After that, reinstall the application (or the entire package)
If you bought Pages thru the Mac App Store, there is no need to pay one more time.
