I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

Songs and Videos Stopping Half Way Through

I've had my Iphone for 8 months and last week it broke i sent it to apple and they gave me a brand new iphone.
I syned it up and my songs and videos stop half way through and start the next song..
It did that on my old iphone also..
It's very annoying.
Same with sometimes glitchy music videos that i've bought through itunes so I know it isnt codec related..

Welcome to the forums.
You can fix the songs by simply converting to AAC -- I promise you this will work.
Videos could indeed be a coding issue -- the iPhone is pretty particular about what it will play and unless you encoded them yourself (using a quality program like Handbrake with the iPhone preset) your best bet is to reencode them.

Certain songs have started stopping half way through and skipping to the next track, how do i fix?

Recently I have found the certain songs, and its always the same ones, have started stopping half way thru and skipping to the next track. Even if I manually try and forward thru to the end of the track they wont go beyond half way. Does anyone else have this issue and are there any fixes?

I have figured out a fix. I have deleted the songs in question and then gone to the 'purchased' section in iTunes Store and re-downloaded the tracks and they work fine. Haven't found a problem on a non-downloaded track yet so not sure what fix would be there.

Downloaded a rented movies from itunes, started to watch it but it stopped half way through

In the middle of the movies it stopped.
I can see the movie under my videos but when I click on it I get the following error message:
This movie could'nt be played"
What can I do?

it actually needs more space than that. The file size is your 65 mb is probably the ota incremental file size. The full package is 700 mg, and the system needs 3 gig of free space to unpack and install.

I think this is a more general problem Apple are having at the moment. I have just written in another thread:
"I am having this problem too. There have been quite a few other threads about it. It applies to single tracks too. They appear to download OK, and show as the right file size and length, but stop playing well before the end and iTunes moves on to the next track. Redownloading them helps sometimes but not always.
I have only had this problem for the last week or so. The longer the track the more likely there is to be a problem (perhaps obviously)."
I think it is the tracks themselves rather than iTunes. If you export the problematic track to the Desktop and try playing it with Quicktime it stops in just the same place.

I would trot back into the Apple store and have them fix the problem (or call Applecare with a warranty issue). There is no sense in you wasting your time trying to troubleshoot things on a new computer.

Audio stops half-way through clip

Audio on movie clips stops half-
way through. This isn't downloaded music, but rather the background audio of the clips. Any suggestion
s?

The footage appears the same from the Sony.
The full audio plays in the Organizer and from the clip in the project panel. The waveform shows for the entire length of the clip in the timeline.
I didn't see the blue progress bar you spoke about, but the program just went through the process of importing the clips and then the organizer opened.
