TS1424 I get a "Can't open [book title]. It is formatted incorrectly or is not a format that iBooks can open." But it's listed as downloaded to my iPhone
Downloaded ibook and got confirmation of the charge for the book. But it won't open. ??? Message is in title--wrong format or not readable by iBook, which isn't clear since it's an iBook book in the first place. My software is up to date too.

Mine does the same thing occasionally, is your phone jailbroken? Sometimes it will work if you delete the book and reinstall it or put your phone into airplane mode then turn it back off.

You can try deleting the book and reinstall it. There is no reason why the book would be formatted incorrectly - assuming that you purchased this book from the iBooks Store .... And you are talking about the John Grisham novel correct?
Did you try just closing the iBooks app, restart the iPad and then try again? If you don't know how, this explains how to close an app.

After you sign in with the old ID and are presented with the option to keep the information on the iPad, you should say yes to that. Then you should be able to delete the account on the device. After you delete the account, you can - or you should be able to - sign in with the new Apple ID.
I tried these very same steps on my Pod Touch and it worked exactly the way that I'm describing. When you sign in again with the new ID, you will be given the option to merge Reminders, Bookmarks, Etc, with those in iCloud.com. I selected the option to merge all of the information. Nothing was duplicated and everything was exactly as it was before I deleted the iCloud account.
So ... sign into your new ID in Settings>iTunes & App Store. Tap the old ID and sign out. Then sign in with the new ID. Then delete the old iCloud account like I explained above and then sign in with the new Apple ID, all of your purchased content and iCloud content should be good to go. -
I m trying to update iTunes 10.5.2 my mac book air but it keeps telling me that it is installed but when i plug my new iPad and iPhone it keeps saying it has only 10.3 iTunes and it needs at least 10.5 version can anyone help?

Pages will not open any of my word documents. The I works documentation states that it will open them. hello, the most likely cause is a firewall/security program preventing firefox from accessing the internet. see [[Firewalls]] for information on how to configure them correctly.
also make sure that firefox is set to directly connect to the internet in firefox > options > advanced > network > connection - settings... in there "no proxy" should be selected for normal use cases.

Since update of my Mac Book Pro my previously drafted Notes no longer appear on my Mac but are still available through iCloud on my iPhone and iPad. How do I get my Mac to sync with the other devices as e'thing else has synced on my MAC through iCloud. Also since the update Notes no longer appear as a folder in "Mail" but are now a distinct programme-is there any way of returning Notes to the Mail programme?

front page opens works shortly freezes.
only yellow green buttons work. I click yellow to minimize normal top bar menu appears I choose new page, opens works normally.
