TS1424 I have purchased a film and an album in iTunes. They all appear under downloads but state 'download error, tap to retry'. When I retry a box appears quoting the title of the film/song and ''unable to download at this time'. Help pls!!
Recently rented a film and bought an album on iTunes. The items appear in my purchased items and in my download items however they have a download error tap to retry. When I retry I box appears quoting name of item and unable to download at this time. What do I need to check? I have had no problems downloading before and my Internet signal is strong. Help please!!
For the rental:
Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
For the music:
Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

I purchased an album online with my ipad2 directly from the artists website. I received an email containing the link to allow me to download it. I tapped on the link and the MSG came up saying Safari is unable to download file. I have downloaded apps before with no problems. This is the first music download I have purchased on my ipad2. You can't download music via Safari on the iPad - you will need to download it on your computer, add it to your computer's iTunes, and then sync it to the iPad.

I bought a movie on iTunes and when it loads up I can only play the bonus features and not the actual film. The title screen is also glitched and merges with the scene selection. I don't think it downloaded properly. what can I do?
It happens sometimes. Delete the current copies, don't hide from iTunes in the cloud if prompted, close iTunes, reopen, download from iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer.
While downloading click the download icon at the top right and uncheck Enable simultaneous downloads. You may find it more reliable that way.

How can I install CS5 on a new/replacement laptop? I paid full price in 2011 and have the key (and it shows up in my Adobe account under products), but it was a downloaded product and I can't find a download of that version online and my key doesn't work in CC.
Your key cannot work in CC, it's newer version, and would require a new purchase.

I just updated my iTunes on 12-7-2012 and I do not like the newer version.....can I go back to the earlier version?? This new version does not have the iTunes DJ nor does is show at the bottom as in the earlier version how many songs and the size of my library.
To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes. -

My iPhone 4S has decide to stop playing any of my music. All my songs are there, but when I click to play, it just scrolls through a bunch of songs and then reverts back to the play list. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to correct this? Thanks.
I am having the same issue. And today, I noticed that when I was talking on the phone, the volume went down low. I had to reboot the phone, so that the volume was up again. Mostly, though, it's my music that I am having issues with.

I down loaded songs from my playlist off my computer to my iPod, the playlist on my iPod shows the title of the song, but no music plays and my iPod shuffles to the next available song. I down loaded about 300 songs at once, was that to much at one time ? How do I get those songs on my iPod without duplicating song titles on the playlist? Plus I have a couple of song duplications on the playlist, can't figure out how to remove them.
If iTunes purchases, delete and redownload by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise delete and resync if they play OK in iTunes on the computer -

I have more music than that and more apps, and I have a 32GB model with about 15GB free, so I would suggest the 32GB.

ITunes ranodmly loses the location info for my songs. How can I stop this from happening? How can I get all of my song locations linked back to iTunes without individually pointing to the location of each one?

When you are the Family Sharing organizer, purchases are billed to your account unless the family member making purchases has an iTunes Gift Card or iTunes credit on their account. The attached article has more information on how this process works.

What I may suggest in your situation would be to discontinue the Family Sharing and use iCloud calendar sharing. Using this method keeps your accounts separate but allows you to still share your calendar.

I can't find out how to turn on and off the window above the iTunes list that includes the title of the song, name of artist, and time remaining to a song. It seems to appear rather randomly on my iMac.

After loading the new OS my songs do not play correctly, is anyone else having this issue? Titles are wrong on songs and it just doesn’t play certain songs in random play or even if you select them individually. What’s up? Kind of frustrating!!!
I had the same issue. In fact I posted it yesterday, but didn't get any replies. I physically synched my phone to PC iTunes. on the PC, under the phone/music tab, I unchecked the synch music box and then the apply button to remove all of the music from my phone. Then once that synch finished, I went back and selected all music, and synch music and apply to put it back on to the phone. So far, I haven't had an issue again, but I also haven't listened very long. Hope this helps!

I have a Windows XP Home Edition computer. I recently attempted to upgrade iTunes to v10.7. It loaded and installed OK, but now it won't run. When I try to launch it, it gets aborted by the windows Data Execution Prevention software. Any ideas?
Yes, this did solve the problem. But I had some trouble updating QuickTime. It failed, with the installer complaining that it did not have the required permissions to install the files it needed in the program directory. I got it to work by telling it to install the files to another directory. All seems well now - Thanks!

I have 3 ipads with ipad 1 and 4 i can see near all videos from facebook but on the ipad 2 is asking for adobe flash player and its the same video that i watch on the other ipads ! Any help please

On the most upper left of the Title Bar (the part where the x box is on the right side) where the Firefox icon should be (on the upper left corner) I have a printer icon instead. Why did that happen and how do I change it? Thanks for any help.
