This poor guy needs help. Somebody who knows what to do should help him. What a great Idea. I mean really totally solve the problem so he can go on along his merry way listening to his song he bought that won't download with the rest of the songs.

Delete the song (move it to the Trash) and download it again under iTunes Store>Quick Links>Purchased>Music>Songs>Not in My Library.

Deauthorizing all is definitely the way to go. You will just need to authorize your computer again after, as well as your husband's.

My songs are coming up as their own album with one song in it, when they're ment to come up in one whole album. Anybody know how they can help?

Bombs Away, Example and Firebeatz are supposed to come up in an album, instead they go here, sort of forming their own album with only one song in it.

If this is happening in Album View, then try the following to get them to come up together. Each entry in the album will have to have the same "Album Artist," such as "Various Artists." Go into Songs view and sort by clicking on the Album heading. If that colum indicates something else, such as "Album by Artist" or "Album by Artist/Year," click the heading again until it indicates simply "Album." scroll until you find the Album then right click on the first entry and select "Get Info." Make sure you are looking at the Info tab, then enter whatever it is you want to appear as the "Album Artist." Mark and Copy the text you have entered there. Click on the Next button and repeat for each track by Pasting the entry you created into the Album Artist field for each track. When you reach the last track, click on O.K. Now when you go to Album view they should appear under the name you have provided, as well as under that name in Artist view.

Delete the track from the iTunes library, allowing iTunes to move the track file to the Trash. Then download the track again from the iTunes Store via this procedure:

That fixes the problem for many people. If problems with the track persist, go here:
iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

If your doing this on your phone you need to do it with the computer. Did you jailbreak your iPhone because it causes this, by the way I wouldn't reccomend jailbreaking.

It sounds like restrictions may be enabled preventing in app purchases.
You can enable and adjust Restrictions, or Parental Controls, on your device to prevent access to specific features or content on the device. Locate these settings by tapping Settings > General > Restrictions.
You can choose to prevent access to specific content types:
Ratings (select the country in the ratings section to automatically apply the appropriate content ratings for that region)
Music and podcasts
Movies
TV shows
Books3
Apps
In-app purchases
You can also adjust the time necessary before a password is required to purchase content.

your itunes may be freezing, you can close and re-open it?
If the problem persist, you can try deleting itunes and re-installing it to fix any problems it may have

One song won't play in iTunes, but it will play in Quicktime.

There is a single song in my iTunes library that will not play in iTunes. Any time I try to play it, it brings up the song in the interface as if it's about to play, and then it switches to the next song. When it pops up in shuffle, it immediately skips to the next song. I've checked out everything under "Get Info", and it's all in order. I tried removing the song from my library and then adding it again (the usual "just restart the machine"-esque fix) but to no avail.
The weird thing is that the track still plays perfectly fine in Quicktime. But my iPod doesn't run on Quicktime, so it never plays on my iPod either.
Help?

I've got 2 issues. 1- song stops playing in the middle and jumps to next song 2- one song won't play at all on my auth. device and states that I need to authorize my device.

I've already done the steps recommended... deleted file, unauthorized and reauthorized device. Only thing left to do is delete songs, but what if it happens again?

I have a bunch of songs imported from CD that are now much shorter than the originals; hundreds of songs are cut off. A song may be 3-4 minutes long, but iTunes shows it's only 45 seconds, whether played on iPod or iTunes. The only way I can see to fix it is to re-import each CD. Unfortunately, I have about 1,000 CD's. Any suggestions?
