I downloaded album but one song will not play, repeatedly prompts to authorize computer. I did all four suggestions on help site for itunes, Nothing works. I have read several posts, but many have problems with old purchases and new computers. This is a purchase I made today. I have tried deleting the SC file, and made all changes suggested by iTunes web site and other suggestions. Anybody have any suggestions I may have missed?

This poor guy needs help. Somebody who knows what to do should help him. What a great Idea. I mean really totally solve the problem so he can go on along his merry way listening to his song he bought that won't download with the rest of the songs.

I recently purchased an album but some songs do not play
I recently purchased Now thats what i call disney from the itunes store. All the songs have downloaded but a third of the album doesnt play or plays for a minute then cuts out. I have reported the problem but itunes customer support are taking a long time to solve the problem. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I purchased a song a few days ago and downloaded the whole song and the song will not play all the way through it only plays 23 seconds. How do I fix this problem?
Thanks for this post. It corrected my similar issue. Note that you need to exit from/re-enter iTunes after deleting the song from your Purchased list.

I want to change my Apple ID to what I have as my rescue ID. The system will not let me.Is there a way to do this?
You'll need to change/remove your rescue email address first :
1. Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
2. Click "Manage your account"
3. When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
4. Click Password & Security
5. You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
6. After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
7. Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field. -
Just purchased "of monsters and men" album and two of the songs do not play and they just skip to the next track. It shows that all songs for the album successfully downloaded....what could be wrong?!!

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".

CD-R will not eject. Is there another way to eject besides the eject button?
I inserted an old CD-R, which would not read and will not eject. Is there another way to eject a disc?
You could always try the old Terminal trick...
drutil eject
Don't know if it will work, but it may be worth a try.

Have bought new Now 35 album and one song won't play because it says it's not authorised on my computer! I have gone through the authorisation process but it still won't let me play the song. Does anyone know what I can do next? I did already download this song originally from You Tube but have since deleted it in case this is the cause of the unauthorisation.
Delete and redownload it if doing so is free in your country.

Had to have my hard drive rebuilt in my PC (not a Mac). When I reinstalled my music library from itunes, some of the songs did not properly download. They appear in light colored ink, but will not play and will not synch with my iPod. How can I get all of my songs back?

If they were not purchased through iTunes, then just sync through iTunes again.

Authorized music purchased will not play says unauthorized to play and when you follow instructions to fix the issue says authorized...
If only a few songs on an album are doing that, that suggests the tracks are damaged.
