TS1424 I was purchasing one audiobook, The Count of Monte Cristo, and when I went to the Downloads bar on my iPhone there were 7 of the same book downloading. I need to know how to stop this before it comes out of my account.
I was purchasing one audiobook. I clicked on the Downloading bar and this book is downloading 7 times! How do I delete the other six and make sure I don't get charged for the same book 7 times? Can't find a way to stop and delete download in progress. Help!!!!!

I just upgraded to Lion. I just installed iLife'11 last night. When I import photos into iMovie (version 9.0.4.) , it imports the same photo over and over as if it were the ones I selected. Not even one of the photos selected!! The thumbnais show that unselected photo, if I preview then I just see the preview screen all black.
I even tried making an iPhoto album and importing straight from there. Exact same thing. I have restarted the application, restarted the computer, and googled half-to-death. No answers.
Do any of you know how to fix this?

The error is the message.
I guess it is one of the Pathfinder options, such as Intersect shape areas.
If you have one path or two non overlapping paths, make suree you change it.
If you have two non locked overlapping paths, something else is wrong. You may try things on the following list.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

To change it for iCloud, you will need to delete the existing account and then log back in with your own AppleID.
For messages, in Messaging settings, click the Send & Receive, tap the AppleID and log out. now log abck in with your AppleID
That will create your own iCloud and iMessage accounts.
You can both use the same AppleID for iTunes and App stores if you wish to share purchases. -

My computer comes on but with the loading bar under the apple logo. The bar only loads partially and then the computer shuts off. How do I get this fixed?

Hi! I've just purchased an iPhone 5S but whenever I text people with iPhones it sends from my iCloud account. This means that my email comes up for other people not my name/number which is really frustrating! Does anyone know how to stop this?
Go into Settings>Messages>Send and Receive> Is your phone number checked there? If you do not want your email used, then tap on them and remove the checkmark. If there is no checkmark by your phone number, then turn iMessage off, perform a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. Turn iMessage on. When it activates, check your settings again under Send and Receive and make sure the number is checked and the emails are not.

At the top of my homepage, I'm getting a message "Downloading the latest applications", but the circle to the left keeps spinning, and no applications are downloaded. I need to know how to stop a notification that keeps coming up when playing a spades game, that keeps telling me to go to the game center. I even shut off the notifications in the settings, this is an anoying problem
I'm pretty sure this is an Apple thing and you can't do anything about it. To get rid of the notification just do as it asks then try to forget about it.

There is a TV series season that itunes identifies as PURCHASED but will not download as it says it has already been downloaded but I have no idea where the initial download is. Anyone know how to fix this?

Yes, you can do something like that. What you would do is create a button for each image and then hide them. When I do this type of thing I place all of the buttons on a template page and then hide the template.
You can then use JavaScript to copy the icon from any of the hidden buttons to the main button that you've set up to display the image. For example, suppose you set up 10 buttons named b1, b2, b3, ...b10. The code to copy the icon from one of them to the button used to display the image (b0) would be something like this:

I delete an individual message but the time I received the message is still showing next to the persons name in my inbox instead of going back into the correct date/time order. Anyone know how to fix this?
SOLUTION
Open "terminal" on your mac and type the following:
defaults write com.apple.mail IgnoreSortOrderWhenSelectingAfterDelete 1
(copy and past the whole line)
This will stop that behaviour in mail.
It works on most opperating systems.

the website is www.mail.yahoo.com. i was getting the same STOP script error every now and then in firefox 6 as wellI have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6. -
