TS1424 itunes download does not play

I recently bought an album on itunes and 3 of the songs do not play.

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a number of days.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that album and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

    After upgrading iTunes on my laptop to version 10.5.1, my player will NOT play any songs. My Library seems intact and no songs appear to be missing, but no song will play --not a song downloaded from iTunes Store, nor a song downloaded from a CD. I was hoping version 10.5.2 would fix this, but apparently not. Still not working.     Does it look like the song is playing at the top of iTunes? Can you see the timer moving?
    Also, make sure the volume slider isn't all the way to the left (mute).

  • Amazing Spiderman movie download does not play, what's up with that?

    I bought the "Amazing Spiderman" movie in iTunes; it will not play on my Mac Pro.  A version of it did start on my ipad(3) wanted to finish on my Mac but all I get is a black iTunes window with controls and everything, but it will not play.  They still haven't updated Apple support pages to reflect Mountain Lion (10.8.2).
    Oh, other movies that I have bought or ripped seem to work fine.

  • TS1424 Incomplete Song/Does not play full length

    One of the songs that I downloaded only plays for 30 seconds and then ends when it has not played for the full time, it doenst say it was interupted and i cant find where to re-download if you even can.

    If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

    Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
    Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
    Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

    but they will play on my iPad2 through iCloud.  There are no errors next to the songs and the downloads were successful--but I can only play them on the one device.  The biggest issue is I want to download them onto my shuffle for running--and I have to do that from my laptop, which will not play the songs.

    I rented a movie but it only played for a couple of seconds and then it stopped and kicked me back to the iTunes rental page again. This is after I rented the movie earlier in the day on my iPad and discovered I could not play it back through my Apple TV. What do I do now? Do I keep trying to rent it again and again, each time incurring a new rental fee?

    Can anyone help with this problem? I click on the itunes download button and it goes straight to the thankyou window with no evidence of any downloading starting at all.

    One of the 3 is most likly blocking you, Its your firewall,antivirus, or the browser you use, like its filters or pop up blockers.
    I've seen this issue come up before for Firefox users, and you have to turn off one of the filters, I have forgot which one it is tho

  • What can I do when iTunes radio does not play a song?

    This is what I'm seeing in iTunes 11.1.2.32 Windows (Win7 x64): Sometimes, iTunes radio will show the next song to play, but the bar is in barberpole like formation (i.e. it seems to be downloading/streaming) but it does nothing. It'll sit like this forever if I let it. To my knowledge this happens 100% after a commercial, and sometimes after songs. I could hit the next button, but I also understand that this takes away one of my skip options-- which means I'll run out of options. What are the options, and is this a bug?

    Never mind, it had something to do with conflicting sound enhancements. Weird, but okay.

  • ITunes 11 does not play my MP4 video

    I have a video which I wish to add to iTunes and then to my iPhone 5. I have many other videos added already and have not experienced any issues before. This time, I am not really sure what is wrong.
    The video shows up in iTunes and doesn't get deleted or rejected by iTunes, I was able to edit its cover art and title, but when I try to play it in iTunes, it doesn't. It just sort of 'plays' as if it was paused indefinitely - No audio, no pictures in motion, but if I click on different parts in time of the video it would show a kind of screenshot of that exact moment in the video.
    I've tried playing it in VLC, works perfectly with brilliant quality.
    From "Get Info", the video is:
    MPEG-4 Video File
    Encoded with Handbrake 0.9.5
    1280x720
    Total bit rate: 2327 kbps
    Video Codec: H.264
    From what I've tried to find online, most peoples issues are with the video codec.
    When I try to sync the video to my iPhone anyway, it says this video cannot be played on my device.
    Sorry for the long post and I'd appreciate any help.

    I am having the exact problem.  Videos load into iTunes, no problem.  Can even stream them to my Apple TV, but they wont play in iTunes (can only see stills if I click at different points of video).
    Did you figure anything out????

  • Video Download Does Not Play.

    So apparently the digital copy of Star Trek is a two hour and six minute gray rectangle. On my system, at least.
    I can't figure it out, here's a screenshot. I am hesitant to re-download 1 gigabyte all over again.

    It's the most recent version of itunes.

    Also, I don't seem to have any quicktime plugins other than what is default for quicktime pro.
    It does ask me to authorize in itunes when I try to open the file with quicktime, and after doing so it says that I still have 4 more computers that I can authorize, and nothing changes. Video is still gray.
    This seems like a known issue and I'm wondering why nobody has found an answer other than luck.

    I have done a search of these forums (fora???) and many seem to have had this problem - has it ever been resolved to anyone's satisfaction???
    When I click the 'download' button to download the latest itunes it says the download will start automatically but it never does, the page just sits there doing nothing

    I did not activate my Iphone on my home computer andam wondering if this is the reason I do not have the Iphone link on my I tunes download. Does any one have a solution?

    after looking at a few other posts, i tried the uncheck the sync box, did a sync, rechecked the box, and synced again.  the music is now downloading into my phone.  if anyone else has this problem try this first.

    If this is on your iPad then you've tried closing the Videos app via the taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Videos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Videos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
    And/or tried a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
    If neither of those work, then depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the filme from the Videos app and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.
