His anyone had problems getting rid of expired, rented movies from the download screen? They remain, can't re-rent, and they appear to be taking up memory...

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

ITouch and iTunes Movie rental error

after purchasing and downloading a movie rental from itunes on my itouch i had paused the download for a later date and am now trying to resume it. it is still waiting in my download section of the itunes store and when i tap to retry it says download error and wont process the download. HELP!!

Movie Rental error (-42110)

I rented "Wanted" about a week ago, and I walked away while it was downloading. When I came back, it was done. When I tried to play it I got an error message, "We cannot complete your Itunes store request. An unkown error occured (-42110). There was an error in the Itunes store, please try again later." Every time I get login, I get this message. The movie is listed in both downloads, rented movies (both give me the error message), and I can see it in my purchase history. Is there some way I can redownload this, or at least get my money back?

Hello, Welcome to discussions. I am sorry to read that you are not able to view your movie rental purchase.
A couple quick things you want to ensure have been done before viewing the media content are below. As well as the iTunes Store support information where they can assist you further.
-Download latest version of iTunes which will also include the latest iTunes+Quicktime

Movie rentals error downloading from itunes

two movie rentals downloading. one is downloading fine, while the other sayys that there is an error with the network connection (err= -50)

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

Movie rental error message

I've rented and downloaded a movie from the ITunes store. When I go to watch, an error message appears..."This operation couldn't be completed (MPACContollerErrorDo main error 3.)"
I've never had this problem in past with movie rentals and I thought it may not have downloaded completely, but when I tried redo, it told me I already rented and asked if I wanted to rent again. None of the movie graphics appear in the rental section as they do in my TV or Purchased section, only a grey box with the title of the movie in the box.
The latest update was installed prior to my rental and I have plenty of room on my iPa, so space isn't an issue. I'd like help on correcting problem in the rental section or how to request a refund for a rental purchase I am unable to use. Thx.

ITunes Store Movie Rental Error

I started a movie download on my iPhone and it didn't finish. When I click download in iTunes on my Computer it does nothing! I want to download to my computer. I didn't complete the download on my iPhone and it still shows it as available for download on my laptop computer's iTunes, but when I click on the "Download Now" button it looks like it contacts the iTunes Store, however it does NOTHING after I click the button.
All I want to do is download my movie to my computer because it's faster and connected to the a LAN Line Internet.

Yeah this "fix" is bunk. The movie is downloading just fine, but the extra features is the one giving me this error code. It is NOT my firewall. If it was, then both files wouldn't download. Plus, I already have the firewall "issue" tacked down and fixed. Have had it fixed for months now. No, this is due to the "new" itunes version 11 software. The only conclusion to fix this issue is UPgrading from 11 back to 10.7 which is what I am going to do. This is completely ridiculous! Come on, Apple, get itunes working once and for all, and fire the people responsible for itunes 11, just like you did to the guy who was responsible for apple maps. Thankfully Google came back to the rescue with google maps app.

Error when trying to transfer movie rental to my iPod Classic.

I get the following error message when I try to transfer a movie rental to my iPod Classic.
Attempting to copy to the disk "Michael Graham's iPod" failed. This disk could not be read from or written to.

I pugged the USB cable directly into the computer and not the USB hub. That did not help. I also followed the suggestion in the article you sent me to. It suggested that I might want to restore my iPod. I did that will no luck either. I event double checked my receipt and discovered that last day to return my iPod to Target wast July 13. So now I don't know what to do. Apple also seems to no help. Their suggestion is to update my iPod, but it is up to date. I guess I won't be using my iPod to watch movies.

You might want to try it again. It started working for me about 10 minutes ago (~8pm CST).
This was happening for rentals and purchases.

Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.

Movie Rental Download on IPad Error

I have 3 movie rentals that I have not been able to download. At this time I would like to clear them from the IPad. Everytime I open the IPad Applications it requests my password so it can start a new download only to get another error.
How do I clear this?

Erin I am sorry you are facing difficulty downloading the Creative Cloud software. It can be frustrating when you do not have access to high speed stable Internet.
You can attempt to download the base installers and updates by following the directions listed at:

You may want to attempt to utilize some form of download management as the main issue seems to be the stability of your connection.
There is not currently a method to resume downloads within the Creative Cloud Desktop application. There is download management included though it may not be enough to compensate for the current Internet connection.
