TS1424 My Apple ID has been disabled recently. I went back and completely changed all my settings and still nothing. HELP?!

I need help with this. I have asked multiple times and nothing has came up.

I am curious as to how many others have been experiencing the same issue. When I googled the error, it seemed like it was happening extremely often with many people.

    My Iphone 4 is telling me the same thing and I believe I figured out what the problem is.  I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges.  Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled."  I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases."  One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things.  It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!.  My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money.  She spent $106.00 buying stuff.  Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes.  I'm hoping this solves the problem.  Here is the link to learn how to disable "in app purchase" on your iphone or ipad.

    Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
    Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
    If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone/iPad then try logging out of your account on the phone/iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it

    I have contacted Genuis Bar and they restored my iphone to the factory setting and all of my old apps which I had on my machine are also gone. They did an icloud backup restore but that also does not allow any apples to be added to my Apple device - Iphone.
    They gave me a spare phone to check if my phone was corrupted and no that is not the case.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    When your account becomes disabled, Apple provides the following recommendation:
    "This message means that someone tried and failed to sign in to your account multiple times. The Apple ID system disables the account to prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to your information. You need to reset your password, following the instructions at the Apple ID website".
    Visit iForgot.com and follow the instructions there.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
    Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)
    If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support

  • I get a message that my Apple account has been disabled. I go through the steps to reset it, but I still get the same message

    I log into ITunes with a User ID and Password that worls. When I try to purchase a song or an App I get a message that my Apple ID has been disbaled. When I follow the steps for resetting the ID I get the same message.

    These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple, we won't know why it's disabled - I've asked the hosts to remove your account id from your post.
    You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'

    I tried to download an App on my ipad and I get that "Your Apple ID has been disable" (with no reason expalined).  I changed all of my password settings, even reset to factory position and still no go.  What is up with that!!!!     Thanks for the replies. I was on the phone with Apple for about a half hour and they tried to hook me up with the Chat Line, but couldn't do it. They told me to submit another email message to support. I did that. So far, no response.
    Apple ID is still disabled.
