One of the songs that I downloaded on an album that I purchased did not come thru. The time did, but all the music didn't. The rest of the songs came thru fine. How can I get the rest of the song without paying for it again?

Purchased song to create ringtone that after purchase, was not an option!

I purchased a song on iTunes specifically to create a ringtone, but when I tried to do this, it said "this song can no longer be made into a ringtone". Can they not tell you this before you purchase the song?? When I went back to the iTune store to find resolution, it said you had to click on view options to see a "bell" next to the song indicating it can be made into a ringtone. The "view options" was not "highlighted" for me to choose this option!

Yes. You must install anti virus software in Windows. Microsoft has a free good anti virus program for download. It is Security Essentials and is available on the microsoft site.

To find pinch open and close and how it works in macbook pro go to the apple icon. Open system preferences and the choose trackpad. Each item is illustrated.

All content that you download from iTunes is tied to the account that downloaded it, and it can't be transferred to or merged with another account - so you will need to authorise that old account on that computer if you want to use its content.
If you still have access to the email accoun then you can try getting the password reset via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password
If you don't have access to the email account then you could try contacting iTunes support and see if they can help you get access to the account : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entries, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Almost all my songs play except for about 8 or 9.

If only some of the songs on an album are giving you the authorisation message, that suggests those song files are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Delete the broken links in iTunes then look at your purchased list to redownload.
If this happened because you were deleting files from the iTunes folder in Finder, don't. You have to let iTunes do all the deleting and moving or you will end up with broken links.

try disabling email scanning for incoming mail.
One of the last things that occurs is the mail server and Thunderbird sign off on "where we are up to" and Thunderbird stores this state information in the popstate.dat file in your profile (there is one in each POP mail account folder). What type of account did you set-up on the iPad, POP, IMAP, the items on your iPad could have downloaded off the server or you will need wait awhile for the message to update to the iPad.
