TS1424 Pre ordered cd. Can't download new single.

I pre ordered Eric church's new cd "the outsiders". When his new song give me back my hometown came out it says it's purchased in iTunes so I can't download it but it doesn't show up in my music. Any ideas?

These steps worked for:
Alright, for anyone unable to download a single after preodering an album, I have the solution (just tried it).
1. You need to temporarily cancel your preorder. On the top menu bar, click, Store, then View Account.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of your iTunes account page and click Manage Preorders.
3. Click the button to cancel to your preorder.
4. Go back to the album page and buy and download the single. The preorder price should drop since you bought the single.
5. Re-preorder the album, should be at the lower price. Now you have the single and have preordered the album, with no extra money spent.

Pre-order Failure - Music not downloading.

I pre-ordered Lana Del Rey's new album Ultraviolence back in May and it was due for release today on 16th June in the UK. It turns out that when the release date had been reached the album didn't download and will not download. On my iTunes on my iPhone next to every song there is a sign that says purchased however the song has not downloaded as is unable to play. In my music library, there is the option to "complete" the album which will cost me a further £10.99. How do I get the music to actually download rather than having fades out "purchased" signs everywhere. It's extremely frustrating especially since it's a pre-order. (In the purchased area of iTunes it shows the album as being purchased)

Look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and select that. You may find the track there to be downloaded. If not, check the Purchases area of the iTunes Store and you may be able to download the missing tracks there:

I have pre ordered Jay-Z new album;Magna Carta..Holy Grail: before it was officially on Itunes. I go to the album on iTunes it says "Purchased" but is not in my Music, nor where I go to "Prchased" on the Itunes app. HELP!! much appreciated..

Can't download new album

I prepurchased Avenged Sevenfold - Hail to the King Album ( Deluxe Edition) it was released on the 26th of August yet I can't download any of the songs in the album I dont have the option to and I can only hear the previews of them. They all say purchised I don'tknow what to do.

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. Itunes won;t open and can't download new apps

I've got a huge problem and I hope I can solve it here. I ve got an ipod touch for smth like 2 months and all of sudden, when i connect it to the PC , itunes isn't starting automatically and i have to do it manually, even though until now it did open automatically. Also, a bigger problem is that I can't download new apps and i can;t update the ones i already have... when i try to do it, it just shows the sign of "waiting" and it frozes like this, so i can't use the app anymore... i tried to reset all settings, to reset the network settings, i searched for a lot of answers on the internet, but my problem wasn;t solved. So, if u can please tell me what should I do, considering that i haven;t tried to erase all content and settings and also my itunes is up to date. If i missed a detail you want to know, let me know, i ll answer, but i hope i wrote everything thatwould be useful in giving me an answer. Thank you!!

I had a similar problem and ran across this old post from ilounge. I am running Win 7 and lost my playlists to the new upgrade. Then my old ipod died before I could hook it up. When I followed this insruction it restored all my songs and playlists (so there was duplication but I got everything back). Might work for you.

I'm running windows XP and seem to have found a partial solution that does not involve vague half assed directions =P
Open iTunes, go to file, import, and select the latest "Temp" file, I got most of my playlists and songs back that way.
Edit: This file is in the \My Documents\My Music\iTunes folder

Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.
Maybe it's time to buy yourself a new iPod Touch.

I downloaded AMP several weeks ago and I like it. However, I can no longer get to the catalog. And, when I hover over certain items, it tells me that I must have an internet connection to access them. I am connected all the time, but AMP doesn't seem to know that.

I figured I'd solve the problem by downloading a new copy of AMP, when I go through the steps on the Adobe site, I'm taken, eventually, to a download page. There it tells me to click on "Install Now." Only, there is no "Install Now."
Is this a beta that Adobe has withdrawn for some reason?

Can't download new podcasts or recent book purchases in iTunes

I can't download new podcasts or recent book purchases in iTunes. I'm using iTunes 10.6.1 on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.7.4. This started a week ago. I unsubscribed and resubscribed to my podcasts (no luck). I whitelisted the possible sending domains from a whitepaper I found on this site (no luck). I haven't added any other software or made any other changes to my computer configuration.
I bought these books on my iPad and they aren't downloaded there either (previously had no problems buying and downloading books to both iPad and MacBook). Interestingly, I was also unable to download App updates on my computer via iTunes until just now, when they suddenly were successfully downloaded. I've been able to download App updates on both iPad and iPhone all along.

Forgot to post the error message I've been getting when I open iTunes:
"There were problems downloading some purchased items.
For more information on the items that could not be downloaded, click below.
There was a problem downloading “The Blind Assassin / Margaret Atwood”. You do not have the privilege to make changes.
Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again.

Go to Mail Preferences, use the drop-down "new mail sounds". The very last option is ADD/REMOVE. You can choose a sound that will be copied to your own User Library.
To find how many sounds you already have on the computer (TONS if you have any games) just to a search the computer for aiff or aif. Copy the file you like to the desktop so you can find it easily, and add it using the above instructions.
The sound gets copied to your library, so you can delete the desktop file when you're done.

You can't have content in iCloud without having it on your phone, you will need to look at deleting items from your device that you don't need. Movies and TV shows from iTunes are possibly a good start because they tend to be large and can be redownloaded at a later date.
