TS1424 Problem with IOS5

I can not download IOS 5. Keeps saying file corrupted. I have disabled my firewall and antivirus. I even took my router out of the loop. What can I do?

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) have you tried deleting it from your iTunes library and redownloading it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes ? Re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

    How do you set up the authentication on IIS?  If the web server expects authentication cookie,  itunes service agent won't sent the auth cookie, thus can't request plist or ipa file.

  • Problems with iOS5, Appstore

    After updating my iPad 2 (16GB, WiFi) I seem to be facing alot of problems with the appstore, I cant access the "Featured" page, sometimes it shows me the iPhone's appstore instead of the iPad's . "Featured" button takes me to "Catagories" , its really weird.
    can someone help me.

  • Problems with iOS5 update

    I have just updated my iPhone4 to the new iOS5 and am having major problems that I can't seem to find a way to fix. On my itunes it now shows my phone as being over capacity by 15.7gb, have tried a number of things and still not fixed. Also when the sysnc was done after the update it would seem that all my music has gone south with it. It appears in the itunes window but the phone syas no music is found.
    This is all very concerning!! It is the latest update and it has screwed up my phone, I thought these updates were supposed to be checked to make sure there are no Sanfu's.
    Any help will be gratefully recieved.

    I have updated my iPhone 3GS 32GB to iOS5 and iTunes to version 10.5.
    All music, videos and ringtones purchased were deleted on the device and now it is impossible at all to sync the iPhone with the computer, both by USB and Wi Fi.
    It always appears at step 5 of the syncronization the message:
        "The iPhone “iPhone” could not be synced because the sync session failed to finish."
    Has anyone experienced the same problem and has found the solution or we have to wait a bug fix from Apple?

    Just made one very simple move without having to restore iPhone or reinstall iTunes..
    1st step:http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 *Read 'in my case' in here first before following this link*
    Follow that link to restart (or if necessary) reinstall your Apple mobile device support.
    In my case, Leave iPhone connected all the way. I first exit iTunes. Then i stopped the Apple Mobile device support (by following a part on that link above in step 1) which Effectively made my iPhone undetectable on itunes but discoverable by windows as a 'camera device'. Then while device is still connected, i started the Apple mobile dev support again. Now i open itunes and there my iPhone re-appears.
    2nd step: After your iphone re-appears on iTunes, press Sync and all is well...
    P.S, Mine is iPhone 4 running on iOS 5, iTunes 10.5, Windows 7..

    I recently got an iPod Touch 4th generation (last september) and it worked fine until i updated to IOS5.
    My iPod crashes once in a while (around twice a week), especially when i'm using the iPod camera or when i'm in the music app (trying to find a song, for example). This is what happens:
    - It freezes for approximately 5 seconds
    - Then it takes me back to the lock screen.
    Is someone else having similar problems?

    yes. That was always important, but on iOS5 for the ipod it is even more important. iOS5 eats a lot more memory and the iPod has only 256MB of Ram, compared to the iphone4 and 4s which have both 512. Maybe Apple has optimized iOS5 accidently for 512 instead for 256. I wait for the first iOS5 update to fix this.
    However iOS5 is not bad. But keeping an eye on ressources with some system monitor app is really needed now. Before iOs5 I could run noticeable more apps concurrently then now.

  • Problem with IOS5 update in itunes.

    Hello, I have Itunes on Windows XP.
    I have to do the update, ios5 on my 16gb iphone 4.
    My big problem is that iTunes is installed on my laptop and my hard drive is only 80GB and is partitioned into 20GB and 60GB, 20GB being the primary partition on which is the operating system, or I do not have more than 800MB of free space.
    My questions is:  How can I do to install itunes on another partition or save to another drive?
    Because itunes can not back up my iphone to the views of the open space.
    I do not want to lose it is on my PC or on my iphone.

    Hi,
    My iPad for some strange reason will not download anything from iTunes. When I click download it goes into my download folder and sits there saying waiting. It also does the same when I try and download an app. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?? Or what could be at fault?

    If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
    Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
    Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

    On many Toshiba models, the BIOS Setup is accessed via the ESC key (if F2 doesn't work)...
    To access BIOS (CMOS) Setup, follow these steps:
    Turn the computer OFF, if it's on.
    While pressing the ESC key, turn the computer on. Keep the Esc key held down for approximately three seconds, and then release it.
    Press the  F1 key when this message appears: "Check system settings. Then press F1."
     If you see a Windows screen, you've gone too far.

    Try doing a battery pull with the phone ON, leave it out for about a minute
