TS1424 Purchased a song that won't download...

A song I just purchased won't download. I did all the proper troubleshooting steps and it still won't download. Can I get a refund? ...It's showing up as purchased but won't download (error-1000000 is showing up)...what can I do?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

    Hi Allan ..
From your iTunes library, right or control click the song then click Delete.
Apple's policy states that, "all sales are final" >>  iTUNES STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • I have purchased a song that never completed downloading.  I need help accessing song although still shows purchased?

I have purchased a song that never completed the download.  Song now says purchased but can't get it and isn't in library.  How can I access the song?

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads with the same problem then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • HT203200 I purchased a song that didn't download properly. I can't delete it and it is still attempting to download the song. What to do?

Song did not download. Won't delete off my phone and I was charged for it.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library and then download again from your purchased history. If the problem persists, or that facility is not available in your region contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history.

  • HT4993 How do you remove a song that won't download????? :(

I'm trying to download a song and it simply will not download. I've been trying to remove it, but it won't go away. I have done everything in my power to fix it. Please help me. Also this is my son i've been talking about.

If it was synced via iTunes, you will have to uncheck it and re-sync.

  • HT1491 I have purchase an upgrade that won't download or install

First I had Jigsaw Jubile (Free app) and enjoyed it so I upgraded to Jigsaw Jubile Gold M5 for $4.99 and I just can't get it to dowload or install.Helpplease.Thank you so much'

Are you trying to do it over wifi or 3G? because 3G has a size limit that can keep apps from downloading. (20-50 megs IIRC). If you're not using wifi, try getting to wifi and doing it that way

  • I juat paid for songs that won't download

i just paid for 15 songs, but only got three. it is not my computer or connection. HELP!!

Delete them from the iTunes library and download them again.

  • I purchased an app that won't download onto my iPod

I recently downloaded the app "Scribblenauts Remix" off of iTunes, using an iTunes giftcard. It downloaded perfectly. But when I try to sync my iPod, it says it did not transfer because it is not compatable with my iPod. I don't understand because the app description said that it is compatable with exactly what I have (iPod Touch 3rd generation) and it says it works on iOS 4+, and I'm currently running 4.2.1 . So it should work, but it isn't. Do you know what's wrong/how to fix this problem. Any help will be greatly appriciated. Thanks xx

  • TS4062 i have 16 songs that did not download to my iphone, don't know what the problem is--have several songs that did download, am i doing something wrong?

i have 16 songs that won't download to my iphone. i have several songs that did go thru. Am i doing something wrong.

    tis true
I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.
I usually copy paste into my emial just in case something goes wrong with the created document but I just didn't have the time to login and do all that My loss, you live and you learn, BUT still if ANYONE got any info on this, PLEASE DO CHIME IN *keeping the hope alive*

  • I am having trouble downloading a whole playlist to my phone. Parts of the playlist will sync but there are still a lot of songs that won't. I have plenty of space to hold this playlist as far as I can see. Any help is appreciated.

I agree. I don't rely on iCloud as a backup, that is what I have my portable hard drive for. Its 500 GB so I can hold my entire iTunes library several times over on it. I have all my movies on my hard drive, but somehow "The Mist" got deleted off of my hard drive, so I figured "Well, the option to redownload an already purchased movie is available through iCloud, I'll just do that!"
And permissions and download availability have nothing to do with it, the movie's still there, it still allows me to redownload it. The only problem is when I click download, I get that message.
And nobody else uses my computer, but I do have multiple accounts authorized on it. Even still though, I am attepmpting to download it through the account I purchased it under. :/

  • Upgrade to iOS7.1 has broken Music. . .can't play songs in the cloud and songs that have been downloaded won't play either.

I've discovered an interesting "feature" of iOS7.1 for the iPad (4th gen).
Since upgrading, I can no longer play music that is in the cloud and when trying to switch to a song that has been downloaded to the device, it won't play either; however, the equilizer graphic indicates that something is playing (bouncing up and down) but the song position indicator stays at 0:00.
Eventually, iTunes/Music (not sure what to call it these days since Apple can't seem to decide either) gives up on the song selected, the on that is not playing, and moves to the next song.  If the next song is local to the device, music plays, if it's another song in the cloud, the pattern repeats until it hits a downloaded song.  Have also discovered, after my various and simple testing efforts, that I can no longer download songs from the cloud - I was able to download one song but afer that. . .kaput.
It takes a special level of brilliance to send out an update that breaks your own applications/code. . .particularly one so core to the device.
Two words for future releases. . ."Quality Assurance".

I had a similar problem. Try resetting and erasing the phone and restoring from a known good backup.

  • HT204074 I went to buy a song on iTunes and it said I have already purchased this item, but it's not in my library. Is there a way to populate songs that I have downloaded on past computers with the same apple ID?

If iCloud is available for your country, you should. Here is the article that has the steps on how you can do this:
