TS1424 Security code not recognized

I put in 2 different credit cards, each time it says my security code is not recognized.
I didn't change anything, it just started doing this.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store

    Opening in a new country requires a tremendous amount of legal, commercial and financial investment, but I am sure Apple would be interested in knowing where there is unmet demand.  If you wish to make suggestions to Apple, you can use the iTunes Feedback page.

    Perform the following, stopping with the first one which works:
    1. Open the Mac App Store's Purchases tab. If you're prompted to accept it and the other iWork/iLife applications into your Apple ID, do so.
    2. Move them out of the Applications folder(they may need to be put into the Trash temporarily), and then see if you can download them for free from their individual product pages. If you're asked to buy them, see #3.
    3. Click here, contact Apple, and wait for a response.
    4. Buy them.

  • HT1918 security code not working

    Im trying to update my billing information, but it keeps saying security code is invalid?

    HOW TO FIX "INVALID SECURITY CODE" PROBLEM:
    Since apple's "customer support" consists of a whole bunch of ******** derelicts who blame you or your credit card company for this message, I had to take it upon myself to figure out a way around the problem.  All you have to do is change your billing information in iTunes from your credit card to PayPal.
    I was getting this same ridiculous "invalid security code" message when I knew I had entered it correctly!
    It's funny, because PayPal recognized it as a valid account and security code, and now all my apps finally work again.
    Open iTunes
    Go to the Store
    On the right, click on "Account"
    Next to "Payment Type", click "Edit"
    Click the PayPal logo and either enter your existing PayPal account info or create a new one (as I did)
    I'm not a fan of PayPal, therefore I never had one.  I created one really quickly and even used the same account that mysteriously stopped working.  (AND WITH NO PROBLEMS... THANKS, APPLE)
    I really hope this helps anyone with this same problem as it is really frustrating when somebody **cough cough apple** tells you that you're doing something wrong when you know you're not, and takes no liability whatsoever when the error is on their behalf.

    iCloud Keychain keeps getting turned off on both my Mac and iOS devices. To turn on again I have to enter a security code that is sent to one of my devices - but I am not receiving this code. What gives!?

    I would recommend taking a look at the troubleshooting steps found in the article below if you aren't receiving the verification code for iCloud Keychain.
    Get help using iCloud Keychain
    I'm not receiving the verification code via SMS.
    Make sure that you have a strong cellular network connection on your phone.
    Make sure that your phone number can receive SMS messages. You can do this by asking someone to send you a text message.
    Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:
    In iOS 8, tap Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Advanced. In iOS 7, tap Settings > iCloud > Account > Keychain. Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
    In OS X Mavericks v10.9, choose Apple () > System Preferences. Click iCloud, then click Account Details. Make sure the phone number under Verification number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
    If you can't access a device that has iCloud Keychain enabled, contact Apple Support and verify your identity to get help completing iCloud Keychain setup.

  • Hard reset and security code (not activated)

    Hi everyone,
    I'm trying to Clear my device, but it asks me for the security code, though the security code is not activated in the security settings...
    I tried every code I thought pertinent :
    - Default code : 12345
    - MfE code : ****
    - And some other codes...
    But it didn't work... I think that the default security code doesn't work because security code is not activated... but I don't want to take the risk to lock my phone, and to not know my security code...
    Is it safe to activate security code, to try with de default code ?

    Did you setup up MfE of Track and Protect on your phone before? Have a look here and see if it helps

  • HT4479 Credit card security code not accepted when trying to sign into App Store for the first time

    I have just signed up for an Apple ID. I want to download Twiter for Mac from the App Store. When I try to log in, it tells me this is the first time I have tried using this ID and asks me to register my credit card details. I have entered all the information they ask for but it tells me my security code (CVV) is invalid. Is there any way to fix this, or to sign in without giving my credit card details?

    I'm trying to download a digital download that came with a DVD purchase, but iTunes gets giving an error of: The code you entered is not recognized as a valid code. Any help would be appreciated.

    I can tell you that you can submit the information but you may find out like me and many others here that it a waste of time. I got $30 lost because of a bad pack of iTunes cards and from what I seen here many people have the same problem as these $30 pack from apple fail to work most times.

I did a look up on there iTunes for consumer reports and found this site. So now I am more worried. I won't be getting iTunes gift cards anymore, I will tell people to buy me visa. I'm also happy I never gave iTunes my bank account either after what I read there of people getting bill 500 - 900 in a day when not using there account. Keeping my MasterCard because if something like that happened it easy to report it and solve the problem.
    All I can say is, good luck and don't give up as apple needs to fix this system they got.

    Hi I recently bought a 25 dollars iTunes code from molpoints website.it sent me a receipt with the pin and serial numbers and the pin was quite big and has no numbers so figuring the pin was not a problem.i redeemed the pin and something came out saying pin not recognized as valid.now I am dead meat.And molpoints a legal seller.

    I keep being asked to enter a valid security code from the back of my card. I keep entering it AND the correct 16 digit card number but it keeps asking for a valid security code. Any idea why this keeps happening?

    im having difficulty ressetting my password, (someone changed it without my permission.)
    i had the token sent, clicked the link and it just keeps saying Sorry that password token is not recognized, please try entering it again or get another password token.
    its a yahoo email address, im sure everything is correct, why am i having this issue?

    try using another web browser to open the link (if the password reset token link is more than 6 hours old, you need to request for a new one).  However, if this still doesn't work iin your case, you need to contact customer support. They may ask you to answer some verification questions to prove that you indeed own that account, before they can assist you in resetting your password.

  • IPhone lock code not recognized

    I have an iPhone 4.  I can say that I know quite well my lock code as I have to type it any time I access my phone.
    This morning something weird happen to me. Trying to unlock the code it said that the code was not correct.
    I thought I typed it wrongly and I did it again but the message was always the same until I have locked my phone initially for 15 minutes and then for 1 hour.
    After waiting one hour before entering the code I have powered it off and after restart my lock code was successfully recognized again.
    This is the first time I have experienced something like this. Is it a bug?

  • Crystal Reports 2008 - connection info in code not recognized

    Application is vb.net using dynamic cascading parms and has been runnning fine in Crystal XI using VS2005.  We upgraded to VS2008 and CR 2008 for compatibility with Windows 7.  Now all reports do not recognize the data connection assignment that takes place in the code (they revert to the connection used at design time). 
    We set the connection (ci) which is later referenced as myConnectionInfo

    The connection passes a TestConnectivity test.  But rather than see the parameter form, a generic form displays with the ServerName filled and requests login info.  If you do enter that manually(not normal),  the CR parm form displays but dynamic parms do not have their combo box. 
    The report will run fine against the default data connection.  The problem is the report no longer recognizes the coded connection change which is critical to reporting the proper information.

    I too am facing the same problem. My environment detail is CR2008/VS2008 (Note I have no service pack installed yet). If I have a report with no dynamic parameter the report works fine with connection information provided in code but with dynamic parameter its not working even after the workaround you specified. I am getting the error
