why are some of the songs I purchase not the correct song when I play them on my computer?
Some items you’ve previously purchased are not eligible for redownload via iTunes in the Cloud and thus, will not appear on your Purchased page. This content includes ringtones, audiobooks, movie rentals, items that have been modified or removed from the store since you purchased them, anything that may have been refunded, as well as certain movies.
For some movies, you will see the message "When purchased, this movie will not be available from iTunes in the Cloud” if the movie can't be downloaded again. This message appears under the Buy button on the iTunes Store product page. This is why you should always back things up.

When I was syncing my iphone 4 to my computer my itunes crashed and was looping from one song to another. so i tried all the suggestions and had to reset my iphone which wiped out all my songs. when I went to purchases my recent song purchases from itunes where gone.. how do I get them back or get credit for them..

Many songs I purchased are not in my "purchased" folder and not in ICloud. Why?
Where did they go and can I retrieve them somehow. I've spent a lot of money over time and don't want to have to re-purchase them.
You will need to contact support. Audiobooks cannot be re-downloaded using your purhcase page. Sorry about your lost iPhone by the way.

Has anybody got this message? iTunes says this when I sync my iPhone4. It does not say what songs were not copled or whether it is my iPhone 4 or my iMac (2011) 21" that it is referring to. Both devices are authorized in iTunes 10.4 (80). How do you fix it? Running OS 10.6.8

What do I do if the verification security questions are not the ones I chose?

If the two files do not have the same dimension you can adjust them via the Movie Properties window.
When you add two files that don't have the same dimensions the default position for the added file is 0,0 (upper left corner).
Open the Movie Properties window, single click on the video track you wish to adjust and then click the Visual Settings tab.
You can then adjust the dimensions (to fit the other track) or the "offset" values to position it (inside or outside of the dimensions of the other track). -

How do you plug in "the wrong end of my Ipod to the computer"? The iPod only has ONE connection point, so how does it have a "wrong end"?
For the songs you purchased, can you find them in your iTunes music library (on the computer)?
If you try to re-purchase (spend more money) on a song you already purchased, the iTunes Store will kindly tell you not to waste your money buying something you already have. If you ever "lose" a song you already purchased from the iTunes Store, you can go to the iTunes Store Purchased screen and re-download the previous purchase for no cost. If songs you purchased do not sync to the shuffle, it may be because the new songs are not part of the songs selected to sync to the shuffle. -

I thought I had a problem with my Ipad in which I didnt, so I backed up my Ipad and restored it, but now Some of my apps that I have purchased are not available only the free version, not the purchased version. I would have to purchase again and it is not backed up into my Icloud either ?
I assume that you will have to set up as new since it will not let you restore from the backup. Then after you set it up, you can restore from the iCloud backup. The backup should not disappear be use you are setting this device up as new. Your backup should still be in iCloud.
However, after you activate the iPd and update the software, you will have to erase the device in order to restore from the Cloud backup, that is the only way to get to the iCloud backup.

Update your device to the latest version of iOS to be able to restore the backup. -
For a couple months now, every movie purchase through iTunes fails to transfer to my iPhone or iPad giving me the error: "some of the items in the iTunes library, including were not copied to the iPad because you are not authorized for them on this computer". I have read many forums about deleting, reinstalling, de-authorizing and authorizing my iMac through the iTunes store. Many suggestions don't work except to rename the movie to *.MP4 in Finder under the iTunes movie directory. I imagine this is a setting or a bug somewhere... any suggestions on how to bypass having to rename the files in Finder? My research into Google suggests this problem dates back to 2007 or so but it is now more prevalent than ever.

I repeatedly receive an error message when trying to sync my ipod touch with my itunes library with my new computer which reads, "Some of the items in the itunes library were not copied to the ipod because you are not authorized on this computer." However when I try and authorize my computer I always receive the message that this computer is authorized. What am I doing wrong? I'm missing about 100 songs as a result of this error!!
