TS1424 Song download error

I purchased an album on itunes and three of the songs won't download.  I get an error message saying they have been corrupted and to try redownloading them, which I have tried. Under status, the files say "- stopped (err = -100000). Plese help!

Welcome to the Apple community.
Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

  • TS1424 Song Downloading error from iTunes Store to iPad

While trying to download a song I bought from iTunes to my 4th gen iPad, it appear as it could not be downloaded even if I can play it. So I try to erase the song from the download window for the iTunes Store but doesn't let me, it remains there. Any advice?

  • ITunes song downloading error - may be corrupt?

I just recently downloaded 3 songs, 2 of them have gotten the message, this file may be corrupted try again later. I've tried downloading those songs about 5 times each, does anyone know the answer to this?

I'm having the same error but only one a few of the downloads. I am downloading many things at the same time and only one or 2 of the tracks are giving me this "stopped (err = 8003)".
Thus I assume its a server side (iTunes store) problem. Probably if I hit the gray arrow on the right to try the download again in the future, it will come through. Now I'm getting notifiers that iTunes is unable to check for purchases. Either the iTunes store severs are having problems for my ISP is.
My suggestion to people having this problem is wait a while and try the download again (see below), particularly if you've successfully download purchases in the past. That approach is partially working for me now. A few hours ago all of the downloads stopped. Now I've gotten a few more before the errors are popping up again. Even if this is your first attempt, if you're at home, i.e., not behind a corporate firewall save yourself the hassle of reconfiguring your home network (plugging directly into your modem or disabling your router's firewall) and just try again later.
In another forum I found a user ranting that he was buying the song/movie/whatever multiple times. In response to that: When you get one of these downloading errors you do not have to buy anything again. In left panel of iTunes, under the "STORE" heading click "Downloads". This will show you all the downloads pending and in progress. If any of them have problems you can use the "Resume All" button at the bottom to try them all again. Click the gray arrow circling back on itself at the right hand side of each item to restart the download of an individual item.
    Hope this helps

  • ITunes Match song download error on iPhone

All songs matched or uploaded sucessfully.
I've tried to download just 1 playlist after enabling match on my iPhone 4, but 3 songs are stuck in download queue in iTunes (phone).
They say 'download error, tap to try again'
When I tap the progress bar shoots up really fast then at processing they fail.
    Anyone any ideas?

The only way that worked for me was deleting the songs in iTunes (both iCloud and Mac while keeping the files). Then updating iTunes Match. Next, drag and drop the album back to iTunes and update Match.
Next, on iPhone, the only way that worked to download them is to actually playback each song in the album NOT "download all" button or even individual download button. If I use the buttons, it downloads part of the song then I get the error message or it stops midway and you can't delete the song from the download queue. Again, the only way that worked for my iPhone was to playback each song without skipping any of them and they easily downloaded on my phone. Hope this helps
PS: The check downloads on iTunes did nothing to me as it never showed the iOS queue items, only my undownloaded purchases from iTunes Store.

  • TS1424 iPad  Download error

On downloading a podcast episode on my iPad I am getting the message 'Download error. Tap to retry'.  If I do this the same thing occurs.
After some investigation on the podcast subscription (NYT's The Minimalist) it would seem that the file for the episode that I am trying to download no longer exists.  How do I stop/delete the download on my iPad?

There are a number of threads from other people reporting the same iTunes connection issue, it looks like there might be a problem at Apple's end - but you could try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works, but it probably won't until Apple's fixed it

  • TS1424 Song download fails with "stopped error # 100000 "

Error occurred when download a Wierd Al song. It continues to download, over 30 times. And I have gone to the Available downloads area, and it still fails. with error message "stopped error #10000. I have been charged for the song. but can't play it. HELP

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

  • Song Download Error Message

I selected 20 songs to download this morning using the iTunes store and my WiFi connection at home. I've downloaded over 100 in the past week with no problem. Today none of the songs would complete their download and I got an error message and I quote "Unable to Download Song...this item will be available for download when you log in to the iTunes Store on your computer"
I logged onto my iMac and iTunes store and the downloading worked. However, all the songs are still showing on the Download list of the iPhone with an error message next to them and it says to Tap to Try Again. If I do that, it goes through the downloading and then errors before finishing.
Is there a way to clear these out since I don't want to buy them a 2nd time and want them off the download listing? I've tried rebooting the phone but that didn't clear them out.
    Thanks,
    Gary

Perhaps if you go to "Settings/General/Reset/Reset All Settings" and try resetting all settings it will get that out of there for ya.
    Worth a try anyway.

  • Nokia Mix Radio Song Download Error

Recently I got my phone replaced by the company as previous one had some irrepairable issues.....
Now when I try to download songs on nokia mixradio on my new phone .....
    it gives following error :
" There seems to be problem with your downloads .
but you can still listen to 100's of curated mixes"
    please reply soon

Hello, MJ883. Where are you currently located? Where did you buy your Nokia phone? Is the phone's regional setting set correctly?
MixRadio is a region-dependent service. The phone's regional setting should be set correctly and the location service is enabled for you to be able to use this service. BTW, have you used another Nokia account with the phone aside from the one currently set up in it? If you have logged in multiple Nokia accounts to activate the MixRadio subscription, the service license will be tied up to the one you registered first.
We'll wait for your feedback. BTW, congratulations on your first post!

  • TS1424 I bought an album that also came with music videos. All the songs downloaded properly, but none of the videos. Next to them it said Stopped-Error 3150, I tried to restart the downloads and now most just say Stopped, some say Stopped-Error 8003. Hel

I bought an album that also came with music videos. All the songs downloaded properly, but none of the videos. Next to them it said Stopped-Error 3150, I tried to restart the downloads and now most just say Stopped, some say Stopped-Error 8003, which means Network issues, but after checking, I found there are no issues with my network. Help?

I am having this same problem with my brand new Mac Pro. It seems to be tied to the computer awaking from sleep (no I am not leaving the iPod connected while sleep... I am referring to waking the computer from sleep and then connecting iPod as opposed to restarting the computer and then connecting the iPod). In other words, if you are getting this error message, try ejecting the iPod, restart your computer, then connect the iPod and see if the error message goes away. For me it does, but I only get one shot at it, if I eject the iPod and then reconnect it, the error message returns. This happens on both iPods I have. I have rebooted (hold menu-select) and gone to disc mode (hold select-play) and the error message remains. The only way it goes away is to reboot the computer, then I get one shot at hooking up an iPod.
I NEVER had nor get this error message when I connect to the Windows PC that I started with. Perhaps the iPod does not like moving from PC to Mac?

  • TS1424 I have purchased a film and an album in iTunes. They all appear under downloads but state 'download error, tap to retry'.  When I retry a box appears quoting the title of the film/song and ''unable to download at this time'.  Help pls!!

Recently rented a film and bought an album on iTunes. The items appear in my purchased items and in my download items however they have a download error tap to retry. When I retry I box appears quoting name of item and unable to download at this time. What do I need to check? I have had no problems downloading before and my Internet signal is strong. Help please!!

    For the rental:
Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
    For the music:
Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app on your iOS device.
