TS1424 the buy buttons won't work when I click on them

I have plenty of money in my account to buy the music album, i can save the album to my wish list but when I try to click the button to buy nothing happens.
I was in the store yesterday and bought okay but today the buttons do nothing. This doesn't seem to be a problem with my pc and I have good anti virus and have performed a scan which showed nothing. Definately seems to be store side. Anyone know this problem and how to solve.
Thanks

ok, all the menu item in the Apple menu does is launch the application System Preferences.app that normally lives in the Applications folder. It will launch that application wherever it lives, actually, but no one normally moves it.
if you have no System Preferences application in your applications folder, that that means that:
you (or someone) has moved it
you (or someone) has deleted it
your hard disk is dying or your system is compromised
If you do have the System Preferences app somewhere, then you most likely have a permissions problem.
Normally I would suggest that you reinstall the system from the install DVD (or if you are on Lion, use the Lion recovery partition), but in this case you should verify the disk first. open Disk Utility (located in the Utilities folder of the Applications folder) and run verify or repair to see if the diskj checks out.

• The BUY button does not work in iTunes

iTunes will not allow me to buy music. The BUY button does not work. I can drag a song to my Purchased folder and then the BUY button comes up in my Library! And then I can buy the song. However I want to purchase whole albums, not single songs.

It really makes it tough to troubleshoot when there is no error message. So what I'm saying is - I am sort of at a loss. Anyway, try this - close all apps on your iPad, reboot the iPad and then try again.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

• What should I do if the home button won't work?

What should I do if the home button won't work?

You can try this.
Calibrate the home button
1. Open a stock iOS app, such as Contacts
2. Press & hold the sleep/wake button at the top of your device until the red slider control appears.
3. Immediately release the sleep/wake button and press & hold the home button. Hold until the red slider disappears.
As a a workaround, you can use Multitasking Gestures if you can't get the home button to work.
http://www.cultofmac.com/199875/switch-between-apps-directly-on-your-ipad-using- four-or-five-finger-gestures-ios-tips/
However, you might want to try restoring the iPad to see if that returns the functionality of the home button and/or take it to an Apple Store and let a Genius have a look at it.

• I updated Firefox on my Mac (10.6.8), and now history is not remembered (that option is checked) and the back button won't work. Help?

I updated Firefox on my Mac (10.6.8), and now history is not remembered (that option is checked) and the back button won't work. Help?

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

• On my ipad if I accidentally press buy it now on ebay, the cancel button won't work and I end up buying something I don't want. What can I do

If I accidentally press the Buy it now Button on ebay, I should be able to cancel it at checkout but the cancel button won't do this and I end up buying something I don't want. Help ?

Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not all media formats are available in all countries (see: iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085); apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later. Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid. Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

• The hold button won't work and this morning i cracked the screen!!

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can help me! The hold switch on my ipod nano does not work, or is very slow. It only works if I press down very hard on the hold button. This is of course very frustrating!
However, just this morning I cracked the screen.I know that cracked screens are accidental damage and are therefore not covered by warranty, but the hold button was not working before the screen was cracked- it is just bad luck that this has happened before sending my ipod off to Apple to see if they can resolve the issue.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get the hold-button issue fixed even though the screen is cracked? I am a bit of a disaster area with electrical goods, having cracked the screen of my laptop and of my phone in the past!
Thanks

I believe it is a hardware issue, you have to send it
repairing.
yeah but I won't be able to get the repair done on warranty, will I?

• TS3297 The buy button is not working

I am encountering a problem when trying to buy music tonight. the buy button does nothing. I have checked my account settings and even reset my password but still no luck.
Can anyone help with this or are Apple experiencing technical issues at the moment with i tunes. Noticed a few posts below with people having a similar problem.

You have identified the problem. If you have Warranty or AppleCare coverage, make Genius reservation and take or send to Apple for resolution. Troubleshoot. When iPhone 5 is open, the home button contacts are present right there. With volt meter placed on home flex you can see if pressing home button completes the circuit. You can bridge the dock home button contacts and see if it actually causes response in the iPhone. If not dock or its contacts are faulty or logic board is faulty.

• My photos won't open when I click on them,

My photos used to open when i clicked on them, for some reason they now wont open, I have to highlight them and press return, does anyone have any idea what has happenned recently that could have caused this, update maybe, has anyone else got the same problem?

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

• The open new tab (+ sign button) unexpectedly stopped working when I click on the + sign why?

The + sign button that opens a new tab (called Untitled) stopped working. When I go to File, and click on New Tab, that does not work either. I checked the Options and made sure the "Open new window in new tab instead was checked. I tried System Restore, and I downloaded and installed Firefox 5.0. The + sign still does not work. This problem in on my desktop. I checked my laptop and the open new tab + sign button is working fine. What is happening?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
* https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
In Firefox 4+ you can use one of these to start in [[Safe mode]]:
* Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Hold down the Shift key while double clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut (Windows)

• If my iPod Touch 4G is under warranty, can Apple repair or replace it if the home button won't work?

I've had my iPod Touch 4G for about 10 months now so the warranty is still in affect. The home button appears to be stuck or won't work anymore. I can press down on it and I hear a click but it's inresponsive. I've already looked up and tried numerous things to fix it, but nothing works. I have assistive touch but ever since I started using it, apps close or freeze within minutes of opening it.
If I bring it to an apple store or send it in, can they fix the home button or replace my itouch?
Thanks

If the ipod is defective then they will replace it.

This issue can be caused by an extension (McAfee SiteAdvisor) that isn't working properly.

• Help! Safari keeps telling me my Mac has a virus and now the back button won't work. Do I really have a virus and what should I do to fix the problem?

Yesterday my MacBook Pro began running slower and now Safari continues to be redirected to a page saying 'WARNING: Your PC maybe INFECTED. Call TECH SUPPORT at 800-797-0153 to clean your computer. www.consumeronlineservices.com'.
The back button in Safari now refuses to work, and I'm unsure if this is a problem with Safari or my laptop (honest to God, I know nothing about computers). Anyways, I tried to call the number given, but there was no answer, and I'm assuming this is the actual virus itself.
How can I get my laptop running back to normal? Is there a way to check for a virus and remove it?
Thanks!

Do not respond to that message. There are no known viruses on OSX systems. What you are seeing is a total scam.
