TS1424 what is error -1450?? and how do I solve it?

I tried downloading a movie from the itunes store. It shows up with a ! in the left column. When I go through the steps to eliminate the ! I get a message saying I have an error -1450. When I googled the error nothing came up. Can someone help?

I did what someone suggested by going to the control panel and changing to the programs instead of system cache--but mine was already set that way so that didn't help at all! I don't know enough about computers to go playing where I don't feel qualified to play so if someone has any help that is VERY easy and SAFE to follow I would appreciate it!

Yes, unfortunatly using windows xp, this error keeps coming up. I am completely updated on Itunes, please help and thanks in advance.

I did a Google search on Error 1450, and it seems to be a 'lack of resources' issue within windows. Not related to iTunes.
Maybe shut down all other programs (including the TSR programs you may have loaded) and see if it helps?

I have the same error code when I went to update my son's 3gs to ios 5.1.1. started the update, then suddenly failed and asked to do a restore & update. selected yes, then got error 29.
many of the forums seem to mention battery and battery board error, and sometimes associated with use of inferior OEM batteries. this has not had a new battery, and only happened at software update.
after going through all of the options in the Apple support section, none of them worked. I have tried on 3 different computers, all the same (the Apple support section goes on about security system issues with your pc/mac and its security software).
anybody managed to find a true fix for this?

Resolve communication issues
Check the hosts file or TCP/IP filtering, which might cause communication issues between iTunes, ports, and servers.
Common errors: 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194, or 3000-3999. These alerts refer to gs.apple.com, say "There was a problem downloading the software", or say the "device isn't eligible for the requested build".

I bought my iPad 2 three months ago from apple, and all my updates re from apple through iTunes. Version 4.3.3 is the latest version I updated, have been trying hard to update 4.35 but I get error messages all the time when the update is almost complete. I found some steps to help resolve the "Activation: failed" error messsage you are getting on your Apple TV:
Restart your base station or router. Sometimes this is done by turning the router off for a few seconds, and then on again, but check the documentation provided by the manufacturer.
To restart your Apple TV, press and hold Menu and Menu down/scroll ( - ) for about 6 seconds and then choose Restart from the menu.
If the issue continues after restarting, reset your router or base station and Apple TV to factory settings
Reset your base station or router. Use the documentation provided by the manufacturer to reset to factory settings.
To reset your Apple TV perform a factory restore.
