TS1424 Wrong Apple ID comes up when I try to purchase things. Everywhere else my Apple ID is correct
My Apple ID comes up correctly everywhere EXCEPT WHEN I TRY TO BUY OR UPDATE apps. I went to the Apple store when this problem started as the ID was wrong in many places. I left believing that everything was fixed. Now I am stuck again & being that it is rather incontinent to keep going back to the store, I thought someone may have run into this problem before. ANY HELP will be greatly appreciated. YOYOMOM
There can be any number of reasons why the battery dies faster. Apps running in the background, Apps stuck that are not releasing. The fact it gets warm has to do with use. If you are using graphics/processor intensive apps/games, then the device will warm up. If it gets too hot to touch, that is a different story.
You can check this user supplied link for info about batteries. http://osxdaily.com/2013/09/19/ios-7-battery-life-fix/

Another apple ID comes up when I try to download updates
Another apple ID comes up when I try to download updates. What can I do?
Is this a used Mac?
The Apple ID that you see bought the app. It is the only Apple ID that can update the licensed copy on your Mac as that ID is encoded into the copy. Delete the app and buy it with your own account. -

when i try to purchase a song, why does apple id has been disabled come up?
We are fellow users on here so we won't know that actual reason, but you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://iforgot.apple.com
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ -
Hi, I switched over my region because I recently moved but, when I try to purchase things it's telling me that I am still in my old region and what I need to purchase is not available in my store.
What exactly do you mean; "I switched over my region because I recently moved out".??
Region Changes are specific to: Country/Regions
Unless you are out of your specific Country/Region; iTunes will detect your WAN IP Address as being in your original defualt region.. -
Hi there. I am having difficulty buying apps from the App Store. I recently changed my e-mail associated with my apple account. when i try to purchase an app, the cue to sign in does not show my new e-mail, but still shows my old e-mail. when I put in my password, it does not work because my password is no longer associated with the old e-mail address. i don't understand why my old e-mail still shows up. Can someone help me?

I recently bought a new computer and downloaded itunes onto it. When i sync my ipod it prompts me to authorize my computer
with the purchases that i've made, but when i try to do so, my apple i.d. is not what shows up and so my ipod won't sync any of my songs or apps. I have no idea who's username i'm seeing and i've never seen it before. That's the only thing that is stopping my ipod to sync, a password that isn't mine!! I am beyond frustrated and don't know what else to do, if someone can please help me i would be so appreciative you have no idea. Thank you so muchClose your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Someone else's apple id comes up when I try and download an app. How do I change it back to mine?
Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID. -
Question: when i try to purchase a movie or tv show from apple tv, the message comes back that I must go to itunes store on my computer and authorize the purchase, which I have done several times but apple tv still won't let it happen

Why is it they claim to sell you something they do NOT intend on allowing you access to for the life of your account?
It is not Apple that decides this. Since Apple is just the retailer, they do not own the copyrights to the content they sell on the iTunes store, if the copyright owner decides to remove something from the store that you have purchased Apple must abide by the terms of their licenseing agreements and remove it. Regretablly this also removes the items from your purchase history. This is why it is up to you to download and backup all of your purchases if you wish to maintain your investment.
In the Apple KB article Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore and iTunes Store, and in many other places, it is clearly stated:
It is recommended that you always back up your iTunes library in the event that a purchased item is no longer available on the iTunes Store. For more information about backing up your library, see this article. -
When I try to turn on my homesharing on apple TV it says that either my apple id doesn't exist or the password is wrong. However, I've been using the id for almost half a year and I even changed my password and it still wouldn't work. What can I do to fix this?
Not sure if this Term is Relevant towards an iPhone but, my iPhone won't Post unless if it's plugged into a Charger.

when I try to purchase an app using my iphone it asks me for a password for the wrong email address. How do I reset my iphone to show the correct email address/apple ID
Thanks for your reply. Having read through relevant topics it suggests that if I sync my iphone with the correct account on my pc it should use that one thereafter. i will try both.

How come someone elses Apple ID Shows up when I try to update my apps
How come someone elses Apple ID Shows up when I try to update my apps? It's Grey and won't let me change it. I've signed out and resigned in, but this very odd email address always shows up as my apple ID. Please help if you can, I just need to update some apps.
You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove may not be the one named in the update notice. For example, the App Store could prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app could be "Final Cut Pro." Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.
1. Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
kMDItemAppStoreHasReceipt=1
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
2. In the Finder, press command-F to open a search window, or select
File ▹ Find
from the menu bar. In the search window, select
Search: This Mac
from the row of tokens below the toolbar. Below that is a popup menu of search criteria, initially showing Kind. From that menu, select
Other...
A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select
Raw Query
as the criterion, then click OK or press return.
Now there will be a text box to the right of the menu of search criteria. That's where you enter the raw search query. Click in that box and paste the text you copied earlier by pressing command-V.
3. The search window will now show all the App Store products that are installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
4. At least one of the apps in the Spotlight search results is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash, after quitting it if it's running. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
5. Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.
If you find these instructions confusing, ask for an alternative method.
