I have created a playlist to burn to a CD....it does not burn in order. What is wrong:

Which player? My Nomad Jukebox plays alphabetically if I just select an artist, but if I open an artist and select an album, it's by album order.

I have been recieving a error while trying to save the Production order. The error reads as "Settlement rule does not exixts in order". But fact is that order has settlement rule. Also there is a default setting done in order type settlement profile because of which settlement rule is created automatically.
Now there is a way around. We calculate cost manually and then we go to settlement rule and check for error. Once we do so the order is good to save.
But we are not able to save it automaticaaly after release. This issue occurs when we try to release the order and then after releasing the order we try to save it.
Please help us on this issue.

Thanks for your input. But the said setting was already done while implementation. All the material except this material has the issue. We are able to realease the order properly for the material except this one. And since go live we are using this material for first time.
We did a work around. We copied this material and recreated a new material with reviced part number. That one is working fine in lower client. We have now no idea how could one material all the same data like material master and routing and BOM and work centers can work properly whicle failing for other.
We are trying to debug this will let you all know if we find the solution. Till then if you all have any idea any prior experience, please let me know.

Edu Version does not appear in order history

Report MCTA - does not display incoming orders column values

We change the intercompany invoicing process in a way that we are using PO-> delivery doc ->invoice. In this process we are using for invoicing article rsp and cost is only statistical in pricing schema.
I defined our own billing schema :

What i missed?

PO Output For communication does not Show 'Purchase Order Layout' parameter

Hi,
I am working on Implementing PO PDF with XML data and RTF Template. I have created a new template in XML Publisher and followed the following set up steps
Setup / Organizations / Purchasing Options / Control TAB / set 'PO Output Format' = 'PDF'
setup / purchasing / document types / select "Standard Purchase Order" / Set the Document Type Layout to your new template.
When I view the document from PO Summary > inquire > View Document, I get an adobe reader error
'File does not begin with '%PDF-', how ever when I preview it from the template definition, it opens fine.
I tried running PO Output for communication with my custom template but I don't see the parameter 'Purchase Order Layout'. The last parameter in the list is 'Include Blanket'.
Am I missing any set up steps? However when I use the standard Purchase Order Layout in Document Types set up, the Inquire > View Document created a PDF output.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am not using a barcode font. I am using RenderX's XSL stylesheets to generate the barcode. As I said, the barcode generate's fine in the PDF on my computer but does not appear in the PDF when the code is moved to Oracle.

Cursor selection does not follow chapter order on sub-menu

I used iMovieHD6 to add chapter markers to my large DVD project. They "shared" very nicely into iDVD8 and the Chapter Selection sub-menus were created nicely.
The problem is that when I use the cursor arrows on the DVD remote (real or virtual, in or out of iDVD), the highlight jumps around the sub-menu items rather than moving in a logical order. For example, I have 4 sub-menus with 6 chapters in each. Let's use numbers for them starting with the upper left they are 1,2,3 and then at the lower left they begin 4,5,6. I am using the Reflection White theme. When I press the right remote cursor button it will move from 1 to 2 to 5 to 6 to 3 to 4 and back to 1. Note that this order is not the same for each sub-menu, but none of them go 1,2,3,4,5,6.
I don't know what might be wrong or how to correct it, but I have a really big project that is otherwise perfect and I'd really like to get it out, please help!

I just wanted to add this before closing this topic.
After poking around with the Reflection theme I better understood what Len was talking about. It appears that there are no modifiable parameters in the theme itself that control the order of cursor's motion through the buttons. That I assume is hard-coded into iDVD and follows a pre-programmed logic.
The point of failure is the position and orientation of the buttons in the Reflection theme's sub-menus when added automatically. They are made to look to the viewer as though they are set on an angled surface and viewed at an angle from above. While our brains can process this effect nicely, iDVD's cursor logic doesn't fare as well.
The work-around is fairly simple: Realizing that iDVD treats all chapter buttons as though they are two-dimensional objects on a flat surface, you must re-arrange them so that from top-left to bottom-right they follow a logical order, with the first buttons higher and farther left than the later-selected buttons. You don't have to move them very far to get the desired result and it doesn't have to affect the overall appearance of the menu in a noticeable way.
A slight rearrangement in my case left the overall look of the chapter menu the same but yielded a zig-zag flow through the buttons as follows:

[2] [4] [6]
Pressing the right cursor key jumps from top left to bottom left to top center then bottom center then top right and finally bottom right before going back to the start. Granted this is not quite "right" in that if iDVD could "see" the menu the way my brain does it would go left to right across the upper row of buttons rather than zig-zagging, but I figure that as long as the user can understand how to get to the button they want it'll be fine.
If you really need your menu selection to move linearly left to right with those arrows and with the up/down arrow used to move it vertically, then you have to arrange the buttons on the menu in a rectangular pattern with the top of each row of buttons all in a nice horizontal line. Note that's not the same as the alignment line that Reflection provides for you, it's a true horizontal line in relation to the monitor screen.
I'd much prefer that iDVD revisit the logic of the cursor control code, perhaps adding the choice of allowing the numerical sequence of the chapters to dictate the order of the cursor's motion rather than their relative position on the screen, but since they don't call me for advice, the above will likely have to do.

IPC requirement does not effect sales order

I wrote a pricing requirement in java extending RequirementAdapter.
I uploaded it to the CRM system. When the requirement is called, it writes messages to the VMC log and i can see the result of the requirement : "true" or "false" .
The problem is that the result of the requirement does not effect the condition in the sales order - nothing happens no matter what the result value is.
What should I do in order to get an error message in the sales order when the requirement returns false?

If the requirement will not trigger any error message by default according to the returned value, what excaly do I need to do in order to achieve that? Is there a BADI or user exist where I can check the returned value and raise the message?

BAPI does not create Sales order

Hi All,
I am using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 to create sales order.
It is working fine till now.
But I found that whenever there is a material whose condition price is maintained and doesnot match with the valuation type, the Sales order does not get created, neither it gives any error msg.
For e.g For Valuation type Consign , condition type ZPCS is valid and similarly for Turnkey , condition type ZPTK is valid.
if a material has valuation type consign and condition type ZPTK.. The SAP system ofcourse will not allow to create a SO unless we delete the ZPTK entry from the SO and create ZPCS...
BAPI also doesnot create the SO but doesnot return the error messge too.
I try to put the ZPCS value to BAPI thru BAPICOND..but still not working?
How do i handle such case?

If you are saying that you cannot create a sales order with the Valuation type and Condition type mismatch even through VA01 manually, then there is nothing much you can do in BAPI also.
2nd Case is you say that that BAPI RETURN table is not getting populated and it is empty in this issue which is not letting you know that Sales order is not Created.
The one work around for this issue is you can check the exporting parameter SALESDOCUMENT if it has the Sales Order number or not. if the RETURN table is empty and the SALESDOCUMENT field has SO Number, then SO is created and if RETURN table is Initial and SALESDOCUMENT is also Initial, then it is the issue that you are facing.
Also try posting a Query in OSS.

Pioneer Blue ray burner does not work in a Mavericks.

MY Pioneer Blu Ray burner BRD-RW 206D does not work and I get this message (The disc can’t be used because the disc drive is not supported (error code 0x80020025). I have the last firm ware update in it. It worked fine in Mountain Lion but not in Mavericks.

just wanted to report I've been successfully using my Pioneer BDR-208D for a couple of days now with no further problems.
I power-cycled and put to sleep the MacPro a few times, and burned a few DVDs and a couple of BD-RE disks.
So, to summarize my experience:
Pioneer BDR-208DBK in second (lower) bay
Mavericks on Mac Pro (early 2008)
Superdrive in upper bay
Drive not appearing in eject menu button, alt-eject on keyboard
dialog pop-up: "The disc can’t be used because the disc drive is not supported (error code 0x80020025)".
What I did:
Booted back into Lion
Inserted non-blank media in the BD drive (a CD in my case)
Rebooted into Mavericks with the CD still inside the drive
System found the drive and enable eject both on keyboard and menu
Disabled "Put hard disks to sleep..." in Energy Saver prefpane - this is what I believe stopped the seemingly random disappearing of the drive

DVD/RW Burner does not Ej

"Eject CD at conclusion of Burning" feature in Creative Media Source has stopped functioning all of sudden. File burning and Table Writing Phase are completed, yet the CD does not eject as it did before. I must push de DVD/RW Dri've eject button to get the CD out ofthe Dri've. This is followed by my PC freezing. However, the CD is perfectly burnt. When I play the CD in the DVD?RW Player all tracks sound ok. Any ideas?

I have a dv2715 laptop with a MAT**bleep**A DVD-RAM UJ-H861H ATA Device. It doesn't recognize any blank dvd+/-r. dvd-rw, nor read any dvd with information already saved to it but recognize cd-rw and will play dvd movies. It also recognizes all cd formats both blank and saved info. I have done a system restore and it did recognize a dvd immediately after, but not anymore. I also have downloaded, uninstalled and installed drivers still with no success and I have autoplay on.
What is the problem and how can I resolve?

Burning does not work

Everytime I attempt to burn a CD iTunes either does not burn the CD and responds with a message that says that the CD cannot be recognized (or something to that effect.)
I followed the suggestions on the iTunes support page which included switching to "data-disc" and lowering the burn speed to 2x. After doing so, the CD did in fact burn, but now will not play on a single CD player. Is the problem the blank CDs, or something else? I've already ruined countless CDs attempting to burn the same playlist, and nothing has worked...Thanks.

On a CD player the discs appear to be blank, but when put into my computer they show up on iTunes as having music on them.
Oh. That's a different problem.
Go to your iTunes preference file (iTunes Menu) and select Advanced>Burning. Audio CD ought to be checked. It sounds like you may have checked "MP3 CD" or "Data CD". MP3 can be read by the more recent Audio Players. "Data CD" cannot be read by Audio Players. Regardless, you want "audio Cd".
Please post back with results.

Mini player does not work, can only switch playlists by closing and restarting iTunes

For the last few versions of iTunes, my mini player does not work, only choices are large window and larger window. Also, if I am listening to a playlist and hit the pause button, then switch to another playlist, the old playlist keeps playing when I hit play. The only way I can figure out to switch playlists is to quit and relaunch iTunes.

XVBAP has the new line item but does not update Sales Order

I need to update the sales order with a new line item when the line item has a base unit of measure as the sales unit. I need to then convert the base unit to sales unit with a whole figure and the rest can be in the base unit.
I am able to see the update in the xvbap but the line item doesn't get updated.
