TS1459 Can't log onto iTunes

I can't log into my iTunes account to buy music. For some reason. lately, it keeps telling me to enter 'ID' or 'Password' I do it but it keeps asking it over and over. I changed both I changed both 'ID' and 'Passwor' and it still says the same thing. When I tried to create a new account it says it won't let me. I says something about time.
But I was able to log onto this. So, don't know what's wrong. Ended having to buy 3 CDs and 2 movies at the store.
This is very irritating.
If anybody can help, I would appreciate it.

Hi, check you are definently connected to the internet and have the right username and password, also try resseting your password, maby there is somone out there who wants your account and is guessing the password so you can't get in.
More info would be appreciated.

    I have the same problem. Unfortunately, the troubleshooting link you added has the first step listed as "Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences" which we (the original poster and I) can't do as our Preferences are greyed out. We can't click on them to verify anything.
    In FaceTime itself it's verified my apple id (also double checked via the site) and then it says the email is "verified" but then it freezes and after a minute or so it says "Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again."
    After checking the network connection, it still doesn't work. It's rather frustrating as it all worked fine until about a week or two ago.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Like many I get the "The store may be busy try again" messase when I log onto the iTunes home button. But if I type in a band name into the search box and enter it takes my to that band's album info.
    Anyone else experience this? Seems this means the store is working but maybe the iTunes home page is down. Dunno.

    I'm having the same problem here in NYC. Called Apple and after waiting for some bangladesh or whatever with a language barrier, I was told they are having problems with their server and to try again later. Hope this helps.

    Yes, but your iTunes library won't automatically show up on a different computer; putting it there is a separate process.

    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

    I believe part of the recovery process is you get an e-mail allowing you to reset questions.  If that e-mail isn't correct either because your son set it up then you really have no option but to ask Apple again.  They are getting strict abotu security and given the number of "My iTunes account got hacked" posts here I can guess why.  They have no way of knowing you really are the owner of the account.  It's like me going to a policeman and saying, "See that car over there?  That is mine, can you open the door for me?" and the police opening it on that basis alone.

    I'm using my Touch, AirPort Express and the remote app to control iTunes and play music through my stereo.
    I like it but I'm having some problems. For some reason I can't log onto my own wifi with the touch when I have the wireless network secured, even when I type in the networks password. When I have the wireless security disabled it works fine but when I make the wireless connection secure I can't log on.
    Does anybody know how I can solve this problem? I love the set up but it does me no good if I'm vulnerable to hackers. What am I doing wrong?
    I don't know if it matters but I have a Linksys router.

  • I can't get onto iTunes store.

    I can't get onto iTunes store when I open it from the latest version of the download.  It has only started happening with the latest version and it doesn't show anything at all.  No error messages or signs or anything.  I have even tried reinstalling it and it still doesn't work.  Also I have tried searching for something and nothing happens either.  It appears as if the status bar across the top is working and when it is supposed to show something it just leaves a blank screen.  As well as that it won't let my iPad backup and I have left it on all day to see if it needed a long time but it still doesn't work.
    I need help please.

    I have the same issue with Itunes. It freezes and will not work after doing the icloud update recently.  Here is the temporary solution that i have found.
    After opening itunes go to task manager (through Ctrl+Alt+Del) and end the process called "APSDaemon.exe*32".  After doing that itunes will start working but if you close it then you will have to restart your computer and redo the process to get it to work again.
    If anyone finds a more permanent solution please post it.  Thanks,
