After reading this article I selected all the albums and clicked on get info and and selected part of compilation option still it shows multiple albums please help me I am facing this problem more than 1 year....Please help me how to get all the songs of the same album into single album.

Songs are not in the same sequence like on CD or iTunes

I am automatically syncing my iPod with iTunes, but for some reason the songs displayed and played in the wrong sequence. Its very annoying because I have some musicals that the songs must follow in the right order.
I reinstalled iPod software and re-sync the iPod, no change what so ever. When I connect the iPod to iTunes it displays properly.

After posting this, I went to Google and I found that a lot of people are having the same problems. I have around 1,000 CDs 16,000 songs on my iPod. And to to go to each individual CD and fix the problems will be a nightmare. The Apple tech support response was that they never heard this before, which was a real surprise for me. Because from reading on the internet a lot of people are complaining about this bug.
When I open the iPod through iTunes the songs are shown in the right order. But from iPod 3" monitor shows the songs in different order.
Oh well.

Restore them to the new computer using the bakcup of the old one. If you don't have a backup of the old computer, you can re-download music purchased from the iTunes store. If they were imported from CD's, etc. You will either have to re-rip them or purchase third party software to extract them from the phone. The iPhone is not a backup or data transfer device.

go to settings>general>reset>reset home screen layout and see if they appear.

Can you describe more about what you summarize as "unable to re-install my adobe on the same computer." ? What actions do you take and what results? What messages do you get? Are you able to install it on a different computer?
Since you use the word "same", it might be a case that you do have another machine that the install is functional on. If so, or even if you installed a couple of times on the same machine, it might be a case where your activation allowance has been used up and you need to have them reset. If you contact Adobe Support thru chat you can ask them to reset your activations so that you have the two allotted to you available again.

Songs do not go in same album because of different artists

I have alot of albums that are soundtracks for dramas and etc. and obviously every song in the soundtrack has a different artist. when my music is in cover flow i can see that although the songs all have the same album name, they all have their own album. so say i have three songs in the album (all with diff artists), i would have three separate albums called the exact same thing AND have the same album art.
so is there a way to put songs with different artists into ONE album? or is that practically impossible?

One way is to select all the tracks and set them to be part of a Compilation (Get Info on all the tracks, then go to the Options tab). The album will then show in the Compilations in the Artists column of the Browser and not under a bunch of artists.
Or you can edit the Artist or Album Artist field so that the information is the same for all tracks. Compilations is probably the most common method for soundtrack albums and such, though.

If the device is jail broken - and the message is that the iPad is not eligible for the requested build - there are tons of articles on the internet that discuss how to fix the iPad. Use Google.

Itunes not grouping the same album artist together

I have had a quick search but not found anyone talking about this issue, apologies if it has been mentioned before.
I have a number of albums that are mixed by DJs. I have set it up so the artists in each album reflect each individual song and the "album artist" is the name of the DJ. I have selected compliation and assigned an album cover. This works fine and each album is grouped together as one album as it should be. The problem is that iTunes doesn't seem to want to arrange these albums in the order of the album artist (ie. the DJ who mixed it).
If I order by "Album by artist" all these albums are placed at the end of the list and ordered by album name and not album artist. If I add the "album artist" category to the display and arrange by this, the albums get split up into individual songs - which is even worse!
Is there a way to get iTunes to sort these albums so they remain together as each album and are also arranged in order of the "album artist" so that eg. All albums mixed by DJ X appear first, followed by those mixed by DJ Y and finally those mixed by DJ Z?
Any help would be appreciated.

Grouping podcasts
A podcast series will split up in this way when its feed is moved to a new URL. Merging the series requires editing all the older episodes so that they appear to have come from the current feed. Download and install Mp3Tag (not sure of a Mac equivalent offhand). Use it to explore the Extended tags of podcasts from the same series. PODCASTURL (formerly ITUNESPODCASTURL) is used to link different podcasts from the same subscription (as opposed to fields like Album & Album Artist etc.) and PODCASTID (formerly ITUNESPODCASTID) determines the order. Everything else seems to be optional. Backup your files, tweak a few a tags then play each track briefly in turn. If iTunes still fails to notice the updated tags try my script UpdateTagInfo (Win).
As far as I'm aware the order is determined by the PODCASTID, but if you need/want to modify the Release Date then in MP3Tag/Extended Tags it corresponds to RELEASETIME in the format yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ssZ, e.g. 2008-02-20T09:10:52Z

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

How to add songs to a playlist when the songs are NOT on the Purchased list

In Itunes there used to be, in the Playlist page, a "playlist" which appeared at the top called All Music. In the more recent versions of Itunes this is no longer the case and All Music has disappeared and the closest you can get is Purchased. Unfortunately the Purchased list misses out all sorts of things which were genuinely added to Itunes.
In the old days I could select any group of songs from the All Music "playlist" and simply drag them into the appropriate playlist. No problem. Obviously I can still do this if all the songs are on Purchased but, if they are not, what do I do.
I know that it is possible to see all the songs by clicking on Songs at the top of the page and I can then select those that I wish to add to a playlist. But there is no way (that I can see) of dragging these to the required playlist since playlists do not appear in this page format. There is nothing in File or Edit which looks useful. I even tried Copying the selection (in desperation i must admit) with a view to subsequently Pasting to the appropriate playlist but, as I expected, that has a greyed out Paste so no luck there.
There obviously must be a way of adding songs which do not appear in Purchased to a playlist. What am i missing?

Hi scroobyplex, I think i am now fairly happy with the situation as explained in my last post but, as you have taken the trouble to reply, i will try to explain myself a bit better as i don't seem to have been very successful so far.
As I mentioned in my 2nd post, I am well aware of the Categories button at the top left of the screen under File/Edit/View etc. For me this is always set to Music since i don't use any of the other categories.
I am not sure what you mean when you say clicking on Music shows all my music files. In fact, when I click on category Music, I then get various choices appearing along the top of the screen as mentioned in my 1st post - Songs, Artists, Albums, genres, Playlists. If i choose any of the first four I do get a full list of all my tracks but there is no facility there for dragging selected tracks onto a specific playlist.
The other option is Playlists. This gives me a list of all my current playlists,both those created by me and those created automatically by Itunes (of which the previously mentioned Restored Playlist .... playlist is an example) The Playlist screen always opens with one of the playlists already selected
The only option i have then of seeing a different list of tracks is to select a different playlist. If i want to add new tracks to a playlist, often the Purchased list will be OK as a source for dragging but, if i have loaded a CD into Itunes, I would need to select the Restored Playlist... playlist as any new tracks seem to automatically go onto this regardless of the source. There is nothing else which gives me a full list of tracks on a screen which permits dragging onto any specific playlist.
As mentioned in my previous post I have no idea why all my music, both old and new, goes into a playlist called Restored Playlists.... instead of something sensible like Music or All Music but it does what i need so i no longer have a problem

Messages from topic to multiple consumers are not ordered the same way

We have a distributed topic. The message producer is a multi-threaded/connection producer (OSB in our case).
On the other side of the DT there are single connection consumers.
Our problem is that the consumers sometimes recieve the messages in different order:
Consumer A recieves message N and then N+1 (correct behaviour).
Consumer B recieves message N+1 and then N (correct behaviour).
This does not happen all the time. Most of the time the order is correct (99.9..%).
We also noticed that the message timestamp for message N and N+1 is the same.
This creates a problem for our system since both consumers must get the messages in the same order.
We cannot use UOO.
Any idea if this is a correct behavior for DT?
Any idea how to make the messages get to all consumers in the same order without using UOO?

Hmm. You may have run into some new Bug given since "message timestamp for message N and N+1 is the same". First, let's dot our I's and cross our Ts to make sure that the system is setup in a way that will give you good ordering in the first place:
- Always use the same producer instance for each sequential send, and ensure that the producer's connection factory has "load balance" set to false. Note that OSB may be using a pool of producers implicitly for your sending app underneath-the-covers, which could lead to out-of-order, as different producers can load balance to different servers in your cluster. (I'm not sure how to check for this - if you provide a code snippet, I may be able to tell if this is happening.)
- Ensure that you only ever have a single thread processing the subscription - if you're using MDBs to receive from the subscription, then you need to ensure the MDB is setup to only startup a single thread (use a thread pool of size and/or set max-beans-in-free-pool to one)
- To account for out-of-order after app message processing failures (redelivery) with async consumers or MDBs, you need to (A) never configure redelivery delays, and (B) ensure the connection factory Maximum Messages setting is tuned down to 1 (it's default is 10).
I don't know how to do the above with OSB, which tends to layer it's own configuration on top of WL JMS configuration.
Assuming that you've assured all of the above, then you may have run into some sort of bug and I recommend filing a request with Oracle Support. In the mean-time, you might want to explore alternatives:
- Are you certain that you can't use UOO? It would be interesting to know why. This is a widely used feature (even by OSB itself), and it may be that you can enable it without any code change, plus, even if a code change is required, such changes tend to be isolated and small. In your use case, it looks like you may be able to configure a default UOO on the distributed topic itself (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11035_01/wls100/wlsmbeanref/core/index.html) - no code change needed - so that every destination member of your distributed destination will simply ensure that each new message is given the same UOO (a UOO that's particular to that member). OSB may provide some equivalent knob. Alternatively, you can code up your app so that each of your producers sets a useful UOO on each message.
- I assume you're using a replicated distributed topic (RDT). If there actually is a bug, then it would likely have something to do with the RDT's internal forwarders. If your consumers are MDBs or the SOA RA Adapter, then a simple alternative may be to use a Partitioned Distributed Topic (PDT) instead -- PDTs have no forwarders, and the MDB and the SOA RA Adapter can work with them transparently. If your consumers are neither of these, then working with a PDT will likely require that you use extensions (an advanced path that you may not want to take the time to follow).
