I have just installed i found the material that i want i the store but when i try to purchase i get message unable to connect to store and I have found that this has been going on for several years and still not been fixed. Is there anyone else having this problem

Purchases are tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with. If you use a new ID, you have to buy again.

Nonesense, why would a service that offers redeemable cards as cash would require a credit card verification. Who is answering this question? I am sick of Apple! Try to delete the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new profiles.ini file and a new default profile.

TS1398 I have a good wifi connection but keep getting "cannot connect to store" message when trying to download movies or apps today. Always been fine in the past.

There seems to be an issue with the iTunes store. There are quite a few posts with similar complaints, but I have not seen a statement from Apple.

I believe this may solve it:
Open System Preferences and go to Accessibility. Next, select Display from the source list along the left, then check the box labelled Reduce transparency.

Already tried deleting some prefs in the library folder but still not good.

Aperture needs to be installed in the Aplication folder and named Aperture for the update to see it.

That's an entirely different issue, unrelated to your iOS devices.

This is where a HD clone is so important, ...
Time Machine can do nothing with/to a crashed / failing HD.
Like refilling a gumball machine with a hole in the bottom, ....futile.
At least your vital data is backed up. Look into getting a new internal HD. Very cheap fix $65 for a new HD.
If you have Apple care on your 2011 macbook, contact them for repair/ HD replacement.

Did you recently deauthorize a bunch of computers? You can only deauthorize all once year.

Well no, not from my experience. Last night, with a balance of about $42 in the iTunes store (several gift cards this summer) I purchased a 4.99 app - credit card was charged, not the balance in the iTunes store.

You log into the App store using the same Apple ID you used to set the computer up, verify that none of your apps are hidden and that they have all be accepted and then download and install the update
