TS1496 I have tried all the steps. My computer still shows "USB device not recognized" is my ipod shuffle garbage?
I have tried every trouble shoot thing I can find, checked all the updates and this shuffle stil is not recognized by my computer. HELP! Please help before I pull ALL my hair out.

I have tried all the steps as suggested by the community partners i.e. uninstall/reinstall itunes (number of times). If I plug my ipad 2 on my office PC which has itunes, it is recognised immediately. My lap top does not show 'NEW HARDWARE FOUND" as iPad. It just says new hardware found and shows scanner and camera hardware recognised. In my opinion there could be programme file which is having conflict with ipad 2 recognisation. I am surprised to find that APPLE has not yet come out with straightforward steps for stting up procedures to avoid this recognition issue. It is waste of time and causing lot of aggravation among iPad 2 purchasers.
Sounds like it could be your computer and not Apple. Sounds like some registry issues and/or other underlying problems.
What are your computer specs? Year? Manufacturer? RAM? Processor (type & speed, # of cores), OS (32 bit? 64 bit? Professional? Standard?) -

I recently bought some new albums and can't play them on my ipodI just encountered the same problem on my 2 month old MBPro. I found a work around by changing USB ports. As for the actual cause or the reason why that worked, I dont know. The USB port I was using works fine with my phone or other USB devices.

It is usually given as a communication error between Apple, iTunes (your computer), iPhone. Somewhere they are not communicating, so the iOS you are trying to install cannot be approved by Apple. Trouble shooting steps include, making sure you have Current iTunes installed, make sure your Hosts file of computer is not blocking Apple. Try restoring on another computer.

My Creative Cloud does not work anymore. When I try to reinstall it I receive the message "AAM cannot initialise". I have tried all the instructions but it still does not work. Robert
Try perform below steps.
Open task manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys. Click on more details if the option available.
Then end all Adobe related processes, including Creative Cloud and Coresync ( if running )
Then hold windows key on your keyboard and Press R key.
It will open Run window
In Run window, type Appdata and click on Ok
Open Local > Adobe folders
Delete AAMUpdater and OOBE folders
Then navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Delete Adobe Application Manager and OOBE folders
Go back to Program Files (x86) and Open Adobe folder
Try deleting Adobe Creative Cloud folder, if it is not allowing rename it to Adobe Creative Cloudold
Download and install Creative Cloud App from below link

Suggestions for troubleshooting this issue have been:

*"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
*As well as temporarily changing dns to 8.8.8.8
*Flushing the dns cache on the computer
*File may be unavailable, please try again later.
*Disable all video players from [about:addons] and see if it will play from the default HTML5 player.

You say you installed the Apple Mobile Device Service, is it running though? The Apple article will help you check.
Also, use the article to try and remove the security software from the equation. -
I have tried every step you have listed in your FAQ section for enabling and disabling cookies but I am still getting error messages "cookies not enabled" on certain websites? Why is this and what do I need to do to fix this?
I have STILL NOT received an answer to my question as of this date. I am VERY disappointed in Firefox support.

Same note about no USB installed. Have gone through all steps I can find on the community. Both my work and our home PC are affected. Seems to be directly related to downloading IOS 6. As I pull my pics to my PC just before that date without issue.
