TS1500 I have connected my iphone to the pc, but the pc doesn't install it.

When I attach my IPhone to my PC, my PC doesn't install it. It doesn't show up on the My Computer list of devices.

I have 200 photos on my Camera Roll which I want to copy to my PC.  When I put the USB thing into my PC port, the PC does not "see" it.  It's not listed as connected under Computer, like my flash drive will show up, so I can select it.  ITunes comes up, but under the IPhone part, the Photos page is empty.
