TS1503 Why can't I sync my iTunes audiobook to my iphone?

I bought an audiobook on my Mac from iTunes. I thought it would would automatically sync to my iphone, but did not. I got the app ibooks and made sure all my settings were set to receive any automatic downloads for books, etc. But so far I cannot get it onto my phone. The only two devices I use are my computer and phone. What am I missing?

It will only sync if you have selected it to sync.
Open itunes, connect iphone, go to the books tab, select to sync audiobooks, select the audiobooks that you want to sync, sync.

Well then it is somewhere on one of your Home pages or in a Folder:
Do a spotlight search to see if it accidently got moved into a Folder: Swipe down in the center of the screen to bring up the Spotlight search and type in iTunes. If it is in a folder, the folder name will show up to the right.
If it is not in a folder, but shows up on the Spotlight search, then you need to look at each Home screen to see if you can find where it got moved to.
Finally, you can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout, which will reorganize all of your icons so that the original Apple core apps are on the first Home screen as they were originally. Of course, if you have a lot of app icons that you have set up on specific Home screens you would have to move them all back to where you wanted them. But that should put the iTunes icon back on the first Home screen.

With iOS8.1 I can no longer sync MAC iTunes playlists to my iPhone. Purchased new song with iTunes and it is on my MAC but will not update to iPhone when I sync!

With iOS8.1 I can no longer sync my iTunes MAC playlists to my iPhone! I purchased a song on Itunes store and put it into a playlist on my MAC. When I sync (as usual) with my iPhone, the playlist no longer updates to include the new song (i.e., playlist stuck at 16 not 17 songs)... yes, all devices are authorized... If I turn on HOME SHARING it will work, but the moment you disconnect, everything goes away... What is APPLE doing?

Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

I just synced my iPod to my iTunes library on my OLD laptop and then used Home Sharing to import that content to my new laptop.
Then, I tried syncing my iTunes Library from my new laptop to my iPod and it said " This will delete all old music, videos & movies from your iPod and replace it with your iTunes Library" wich is exactly what I wanna do! So I clicked continue and it started syncing...
During the middle of the process a pop up appears and says " Your iTunes LIbrary cannot be synced to your iPod because there is not enough room on your iPod (additionaly 2.33GB required) "
But I thought it would erase my songs from my ipod ( approximately 2.40GBs) and replace it with the new ones from my library (2.33GB) ???? Why didn't it? What can I do to have my iTunes Library from my new laptop to my iPod Touch?
( I want my iPod to be able to sync anytime to my new computer because I'm getting rid of the old one.)

So I copied everything in the iTunes folder from my old computer
and sent it to an 8GB USB,
which I'll insert into my new computer and paste the files on to /Music/
Will that work?

Why can't I sync my iTunes library from my MacBook Pro to my iPad Mini?

I have just updated my MacBook Pro with the latest iTunes, something I swore I would never do. But I had to do it in order to sync my iTunes library with my new iPad Mini. Unfortunately, after waiting 23 minutes for the software update, I STILL can't sync my music! The only songs I can see on my iPad Mini are songs I've purchased from the iTunes Store...all two of them. The remaining hundreds of songs simply don't show up. C'mon Apple, the reason I use a Mac platform is because it just always works, unlike MicroSucks. Is this what we can expect in a post-Jobs world...?

Click on your ipad in the upper right- this takes you to your summary page.
click on music tab at the top.
UNcheck all music and apply/sync.
When that is done, REcheck everything, and sync again. This usually works.

Why can't I sync my iTunes music from my computer to my 4s iPhone?

After both of the newest upgrades, I'm having trouble syncing my music from my computer's iTunes onto my 4s iPhone. After experimenting, somehow I managed to delete a couple playlists off of my phone (which when I plugged in to sync, it deleted the playlists from my library...very annoying, now I have to sort all of my music into playlists again).
I have always synced what was on my computer to my phone. Why is what I'm doing on my phone changing what's on my computer's iTunes? And why won't any of my new music sync onto my phone?
Any suggestions or help is much appreciated, thanks!!

Spoke with Apple support on this issue. After deleting all music and playlists from the phone, unchecking ALL boxes within Music tab on phone, and syncing, music was removed from phone. Then went back and checked sync music/selected playlists/the playlists I wanted on the phone, and it successfully synced those playlists. I did lose the purchased playlist on the phone, which I like because it's my newest music, but that is easily fixed by making a smart playlist of recent purchases and adding it to the sync.

I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes then connected my iPhone chose sync then it prepares to sync but stops before completion?

Is this something new since upgrading operating sytems? I can get my new purchases into my phone, but not matter what I do, the new purchases don't show up in my playlists. For the life of me, I can't get a recent purchase into an old playlist. I can move the song into the phone's playlist on the computer, but after syncing, it doesn't show up on the phone.

Why can I only sync SD version of movie to iPhone 4?

A few days ago, I bought The Lion King (HD) from the iTunes store app on iPhone 4. I was almost certain I had enough space, but when I checked my phone the next morning, the download stopped prematurely due to not having enough space. So I had to then restore my phone in order to erase the large download, which I could not use.
After the restore, I started to download the movie on iTunes. I got the HD and SD version. After multiple fails at downloading the HD version, due to a faulty internet connection, I was forced to download the SD before I left for my trip. Now, I have both versions on iTunes.
But, when I try to sync the movie to my iPhone, it automatically syncs in SD form. I do not have the "Prefer SD videos" box checked. I would like to put the HD version on my iPhone 4, and from reading for info on the subject, I should be able to watch it on my phone; I did originally purchase it from my iPhone, just saying..
But, I just need to know if theres a way to fix this problem.

I view the regular facebook site all the time, I just type facebook.com into safari instead of m.facebook.com.
It's possible it may be less your issue and more how the site is coded - as in forcing people to their mobile side instead of the regular one.

I have a first generation Apple TV with a hard drive. I have all my music, photos and movies on it. I am trying to update my music and photo and I can't sync with my Apple TV anymore. Has apple changed the system so that you can now only stream?

I've had this same problem intermittently. For me, it seems that between my Mac & 1st Gen Apple TV, they decide whether they are synching or streaming. Since later versions, updating the software seems to overwrite the functionality of this earliest generation. My Apple TV now only has content on it that is bought or rented on it and I haven't bothered. The streaming option is not my preferred choice when my wi-Fi hub can be troublesome. Highly frustrating when we've paid out for a device that has its own storage but we can no longer access/utilise it!

Sorry diesel vdub, I have never been on a site like this before and an relatively techno illiterate, however I have no sync errors and have downloaded all the latest updates. I have a 16gb ipod and have only got 99 albums which totals 7gb with no photos, apps or other, so in theory there is plenty of space, when I click on the ipod app on the phone it only shows me the albums listed from G in the alphabet to Z. Since your device is not recognized in iTunes, I would recommend the steps in the article below. See the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver.

I can't sync my iTunes library from my iPhone 5c onto my macbook pro after it wiped without deleting all the songs I have on my phone now. Is there any way around this as it is saying I need to clear all songs from my old iTunes library to connect it to a new one?

one set which photos should be synced with the ios device in itunes under the photo tab there one can choose which iphoto things one wish to sync
