TS1538 devices are not connecting to itunes

itunes is not connecting any of my devices.

Hello, Nicola14.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your device is not recognized by iTunes, I would recommend the steps in the article below.  Start with the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver.

    Hi there,
If you are experiencing an issues where iTunes is not recognizing your iPod, then I would recommend taking a look at the article below.

  • My devices will not connect to iTunes over WiFi or over USB. No indication is given of connection

I was attempting to restore a 3rd generation iPod for a friend but the device would not connect to iTunes. I attempted to connect my 5th generation iPod touch but it would not connect either. I can see it is connected in the computers files but it does not appear on iTunes.

Is the Wi-Fi button greyed out?  Try this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1559
Also, make a backup to iTunes of the device.  Then restore it as a new device.  If you still have wi-fi greyed out, then contact Apple again, and explain that you believe you have a hardware issue.  They may still ask for a $19 deposit, but if it is actually hardware related, then you won't be charged the $19.  Only if it is software related do you get charged that $19.

  • My devices are not appearing in iTunes v11

After setting up iTunes 11, my devices are not showing up on the program.

I solved this by restarting my computer.

  • When iam trying to enter the applications or facebook etc appears"YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED TO ITUNES'?

    Hello,
when i am trying to enter the applications or facebook or texaspoker in facebook or internet many times appears that i am no connected to itunes,
    what is the problem?
    thank you.

I too had this sort of problem yesterday, I was unable to access Facebook with errors showing.  I deleted app and then tried to reinstall but it said 'not connected to iTunes error'  After browsing various suggestions to enable me to re connect to iTunes the only way was to reset network settings.  Go to Settings wifi and reset network settings.  The device will reboot and you will then have to input router password if required and all should be ok again.  Hope this helps

  • Device will not connect to Itunes.  Please help if know what to do.

I have 3, 4th generation Itouches and 1 of them will not connect to itunes and reconize the device on the left side of screen.  The other 2 I have doesn't have any problems doing it. I have tried everthing from updates installed, resetting itouch, going threw all the check points and diagnostics and nothing is working. Anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this problem I would appreciate it.
    thanks!

Try another computer to eliminate a hardware issue.

  • My devices are not being found, but all are connected to my WiFi...how can I fix this?

Is there a way to fix my iCloud "Find my Device" feature?  All of my devices are conected to my home WiFi and yet, the Find My Device feature says that all of my devices are not connected.  How do I fix this?

    Hello micoj8
There are a few things you can do and I have highlighted them below. If you want more information, then check out the article below.

"No location available," "Offline," or "Location Services Off" alerts
    This can occur if:
The date on your device is incorrect. Choose Settings > General > Date & Time to check and set the date.
Your iOS device is currently off or not connected to a data network (Edge, 3 or 4G, or Wi-Fi). Wait a few minutes and try again.
Your iPad (Wi-Fi only), iPod Touch, or Mac is currently off or not connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Location Services is not enabled on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch (Settings > Privacy) or on your Mac (Date & Time) preferences. Learn more about Location Services on your Mac:

My devices are not showing up on my itunes to sync. how do i fix this?

Why is this answer being accepted by users?  Am I supposed to restart my Mac EVERY TIME I want to sync my iPhone, iPad or iPod?
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?  I see this question in the Apple Support forums quite frequently, and the answer always boils down to 'http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1591' - Which - after exhausting the obvious, you've got a bad cable or bad USB port checklist - recommends that you 'Restart your Mac' to resolve the issue.
That's not an adequate or acceptable answer - If Apple is ignoring this question, then they're the ones with a 'Problem' - Ignoring these obvious issues (this isn't a bad cable / bad USB port problem) is only going to lead to a loss of customers.  I'm certain that Apple has the technical expertise to investigate and resolve the underlying issue. The real question is 'does Apple still value the customer'?
My iTunes (11.1.4) has stopped recognizing Devices (an iPad 2, an iPhone 5S, an iPod classic). This has been going on for about a month now (since 11.1.4?). Yes, I have the current OS (OS 10.9.1), yes my iDevice has the most recent iOS (just updated to 7.0.6 (1.1.2 for 160GB iPod Classic), yes my USB 3.0 ports work (after I reboot the computer). The syncing and connectivity works fine (with all my devices/cables/USB ports) until I disconnect my device - What good is my mobile device if I have to leave it tethered to my Mac in order to use it?

  • "itunes could not contact the ipod software update server because you are not connected to the internet" Help?

Hello all, new to the forums.
I've been recieving the error message "itunes could not contact the ipod software update server because you are not connected to the internet". This problem didn't occur at all for the past 2 years of using itunes.
I've already scanned through numerous websites and forums for help, but none of them worked.
This  set of instructions resulted in no change to any of the problems, though iTunes lists that as the supposed solution.
    # Open Internet Options from control panel.
    # Click the Connections tab.
    # Click the LAN Settings button.
    # Select the Automatically detect settings checkbox.
Others include installing IE7, which that didn't work either.
    Can anyone help?
