I have an iPod classic that syncs my entire library, I'd like to buy a smaller iPod, maybe a Nano for the gym. Would I need a 2nd iTunes library? Is that possibly, I mean for one person to have 2 iTune librarys/accounts?

In other words, no. You don't need another iTunes Library for your new iPod
Another iTunes Library, that's only if someone elses music is mixed in with yours and you want to create another Windows user account with their music in it.
The iTunes Library is the master vault containing all your content, from there you create playlists or smart playlists specially tailored for the smaller iPod's storage requirements.
For instance if the iPod can hold only 2,000 songs, then you create a smart playlist based upon those rules/limitation. Plus what type of music you like.
You have a incredible degree of control with smart playlists, they update automatically so you only set the conditions for what goes into them. Including content from other created playlists and smart playlists.
Then, when you hook up the smaller iPod, it has it's own sync options, "all of your music and playlists" or "only select playlists" So you use the second option to select just the smart playlist you tailored for the new iPod.
When you hook up the iPod Classic, only it's sync options are used, not the new iPod ones.
I hope I explained it better this time. -
I Have a Ipod Classic that all my music is on.
After my previous computer crashed I have not had any of my music able to be transfered to the new computer from the Ipod.
Is there a way to do this?Unfortunately, unless you have a backup and can restore the iTunes library to the new computer, you are stuck with the current state of the iPod. This is one of those things that makes doing backups so important.
Unless your music is all purchased from iTunes (not from your own CD's that you imported into iTunes and then downloaded to the iPod), you will be able to re-download all your iTunes store music back to the iPod when you install iTunes on the new computer. When you first attach the iPod to the new computer and new iTunes the first time it will tell you that this iPod is synced with another iTunes library and let you initialize the iPod (which will erase everything on the iPod - so don't do this unless you don't care about the stuff on the iPod now).
I've seen 3rd party apps in the past that will let you copy music/content from iPod to computer and bypass iTunes, but not sure if they still exist as this was several years ago.

I have an ipod classic that gives me the sad ipod screen...
It gives me the apple screen, then the sad ipod thing.... how do i fix this? or attempt to fix this?
Hello sumiko7493,
You could try to work through the potential troubleshooting solutions provided in this extensive post by Mitch751 related to this issue. Otherwise, as he notes in the post, you will more than likely need to have your iPod serviced in order to gain full functionality again.

All my content is still on my iPod classic but my external HDD quit and is not accessible. I am wondering if I can put some of my content onto my PC(my iPod has more storage than my PC hahaha pretty bad) This is the PC I used with iTunes with so I don't think licensing is an issue- But can I upload back to my PC without iTunes wiping clean my iPod because there is no more content on PC/HDD? I know I may need to send my HDD away to to a Data Recovery Specialist. But if I can save a couple hundred bucks to couple thousand bucks I would prefer this method... mostly worried about photos- can't download these again. Next time I will buy a second back up.

inMy iPod is ok, but my external hard drive crashed and that's where all my stuff was. It is still also on my iPod. My question is, Can I plug my iPod into my PC and put everything back onto my PC's hard drive? This iPod and PC are synced together already. I am worried when I plug my iPod back into my PC, itunes will erase everything on it because it's not in my PC but in my crashed external HDD that I can't access.
You'll need to get yourself a new drive big enough to hold all the data you are going to recover and then reading the tip B-rock has pointed you to. Read it carefully, it should guide you through the steps to recover as much as possible. You are wise to be worried, just plugging in the iPod and clicking sync isn't good enough but it should be possible to recover to most if not all of it.

??????
Yes. There is no limit to the number of iPads, iPods, or iPhones you can sync with one computer, iTunes library, or account. See this article for different ways to manage multiple devices.

Since my update, I cannot scroll using the scroller option that slides down the page and my iTune downloaded podcasts will not sync to my apple tv. Any ideas?
Hello there, breezyandrade.
The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great information on setting your scroll bar preferences. Although written for Mountain Lion it provides accurate location for this preference in Mavericks as well:
OS X Mountain Lion: Change how scroll bars work
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH10895
Use General Preferences to customize scroll bars in windows.
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click General.
Set the scrolling options. For more information about the scrolling options, click the Help button.
Some apps let you scroll through a document in other ways, such as by dragging in the document, using arrow keys, or pressing the Space bar.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
Cheers,
Pedro.
