TS1538 My Dad gave my sister his iphone when he upgraded. How do i change his account to my sisters account???
So my sister just got an iphone from my Dad. She took it to her carrier I believe its Verizon. She now wants to make the phone her own. The phone still has my Dads account it and he wants the pics that are on it saved. The phone also has my sisters contacts and pics on it.
The question is how can i make the phone only have her account on it with only her pics and her contacts.
It looks like everything is jumbled together.
I think she operating the phone under my dads account.
I was going to save the entire phones data using itunes and icloud.
it looks like in order to that i would have to have itunes downloaded on her phone which it is under my dad and install icloud which i think would have to be done also undermy dads account.
i would then download itunes and i cloud on her laptop using my dads account and the sync the entire phone to both programs.
Then i could erase the entire phone and start over using my sisters apple id.
is this solution the easiest way to accomplish my task.
please help as i am her only tech support . i take care of all her devises and its the first time i have dealt with apple products.

settings->itunes & app stores->click on the unwanted appleID click logout
and login with the wanted appleID

Use different Apple IDs for iMessage (and also FaceTime) to avoid getting each others text messages (and FaceTime calls). One of you should go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive (and Settings>FaceTime), tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. You can continue to shared the same ID for the iTunes store and other services.

I have my iPhone 4s plugged into a dock and the dock connected to an amplifier with 2 speakers and a bass, the problem is that the amplifier doesn't have a volume changer and when i plug in the iPhone into the dock the iPhone´s volume bar disappears and im not allowed to change the volume and its very loud. how can i change the volume? is there an app? any ideas??(my dock doesnt have infrared remote controller )

Apple does not repair devices beyond replacing the screen on some models or a battery replacement. They replace the ENTIRE device.
For the Out of Warranty replacement cost, you could have gotten a fully functional replacement device. Instead you chose to spend less to get only the screen replaced and continue to live with additional issues.
Apple will not touch the device now. They will know that it was opened elsewhere and that the replacement screen is not original. -

Contact your carrier and make sure that your account is properly set up for texting.

What do you mean by "register"? If you have your own Apple ID then log in with that in settings/itunes & app store and in settings/messages and in settings/icloud
