This backup is too large for the backup disk. The backup requires 29,23 TB but only 1,38 TB are available.
Time Machine needs work space on the backup disk, in addition to the space required to store backups. Open Time Machine preferences to select a larger backup disk or make the backup smaller by excluding files.
Funny thing with a 1 TB system disk to backup (the backup disk is 2TB).

Reboot holding down the Command and R keys. This will get you in to the Recovery partition. From there you can reinstall the entire OS. Please note, Server.app will not be included in the reinstall. You will need to log into your App store account to download it.

I want to photo stream pix from my iMac to apple tv. When I try to enter the iCloud account name and password, the systems tells me that terms of service have changed and won't let me proceed. What's that about?
You need to reset the password for the "old" account, and then use that to turn off iCloud. Then you will be able to sign in with your new ID.
You can reset your password at iForgot.apple.com.
If you don't know the answers to the security questions, you will need to start there.

I just purchased songs that I've already purchased, why didn't the system tell me that?
The system when I purchased songs would tell me that I've already purchased that song, I have purchased several songs today that I already have in my IPOD which I was not given the error message that I've already purchased the song.
Apple cannot help you locate the original owner. If you have no way to contact him/her, and you purchased directly from the seller rather than through a site that offers buyer protection, then the iPad is useless to you and you have wasted your money. The iPad is quite probably stolen and you should turn it in to the police.
This is why it's very risky and usually unwise to purchase out of a car boot from someone you don't know.

My iPad is now useless because it is asking for an old passed from an old user id that stopped working a year or so. It was. Bellsouth id and when I go to reset. It tells me I don't have my birthdate correct

Using a PC qith Windows 7. Installed iCloud to use ''Flux de Photo''. When asked for user ID, I entered my iTune ID. System sent message : '' Cet identifiant Applpe est valide, mais il ne s'agit pas d'un compte iCloud ''. De installed iCloud and installed again with same results. Help.
You can't create an iCloud account using a PC. Create the account on an iPhone/iPad, or a Mac, then sign in from the PC.

Today's system update wreaked havoc with everything
Ever since update, can't launch any apps from launcher or finder. Can't sync. Keep getting error messages.
Did you check the hard drive before installing the update? If not, you should do this every time prior to installing system updates. Try repairing the hard drive by following these instructions:

You may also want to try downloading the combo updater and reinstalling the update:
