I've tried the network reset, it didn't work. My phone works fine, just a lilttle bit slow before i upadated to 7.0.4. And now not only the wifi, the phone itself is slower than ever. I wish i didn't udgrade to iOs 7. There's too much problems. There's this one time that I can't send iMessage at all.

I'm afraid that unless you are able to contact the previous owner and have him wipe the device, or provide you with his Apple ID password so you can delete the iCloud account, you are out of luck.
With iOS 7, an Activiation Lock was added to deter thieves. This lock prevents anyone but the owner of the device from deleting the iCloud account and restoring the device:

Unless you are able to reach the original owner and get the device wiped or the iCloud account deleted, you are stuck with a brick.

You can also restore from iTunes or iCloud backup if you have one.

Am I the only person who thinks it's stupid and annoying that I have to physically connect my iPhone to my Mac in order to transfer videos onto the Mac?

iCloud has made almost all comunication between my iPhone and my Mac wireless. Except transfering video... I get that maybe they're being conciderate of your data usage, which is good. But it could still be automatic with a wifi connection or at least the iPhone could show up in iPhoto with the ability to pull those movies down. Just feels like a big miss to me in the UX.

I have the same problem. After the upgrade, my wifi is greyed out, and the battery won't hold a charge long. I reset all the settings, tried all the things suggested by Apple, but it didn't work. I took the phone to Verizon, but they said they can't fix it, go to Apple

A representative told me that the wi-fi is broken and I would need to buy a new phone for $200, because mine is out of warranty. I'm not sure, but I know it's not recommended to upgrade to iOS 8 on anything older than an iPhone 5. I only lost my music playlists and music that was on my phone, but that music is also on my iTunes, not the playlists though, and I don't want to go through ALL my iTunes library to fix it either... But it seems I don't have a choice right now.
Whatever you do, do NOT upgrade to iCloud Drive, keep iCloud till OS X Yosemite comes out, if your computer is a Mac. I also just noticed that all my documents on my phone are gone from Pages, BUT if I go on the iCloud website they are still there. Hopefully it will all work itself out when I can update my macbook pro to OS X Yosemite.
If you backed up your phone and all your purchases off your iPhone prior to trying to upgrade you should be fine... But I'm not even remotely sure.

As far as I know you should be prompted for the password for an account that 'owns' one of the apps that requires updating.
If all of the apps with updates are linked to your account and that is the account that is now logged in, then you could try a reset and see if that helps : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

Yes lucky me . If all troubleshooting has been done in Resolve iOS update and restore errors and if you have at least taken it into a store where they could try a restore themselves then that would suggest a hardware fault with the iPhone.
If you are out of warranty then it is correct that they would quote you an out of warranty service fee. From here it would be a matter of trying the steps above and if you have already tried then doing the service when you do have the cash.

Maybe the SIM card is faulty one has not bee inserted correctly. Take the sim out and reinsert it. Try a different sim. Maybe the phone was hacked to unlock it from the original carrier and when you updated it it relocked

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Hae you tried to do a hard reset of your phone? This will not lose any data. Hold the sleep/wake button and the home button until the phone turns off ignoring any slide to power off messages. Then power the phone back on.
