My Iphone4S wifi setting was grayed off and could not set wifi on even after I have reset network setting and also restore software from Itune.

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Verify that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.

Note: This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.

It will not update. Just sits in my App Store and freezes . I have a iPhone 4S with the latest software.
If it's freezing when you try to update apps, try force-closing the App Store app. From your home screen, double-tap the home button, locate App Store in the list on the bottom, tap an hold it until it wiggles, tap to close it, tap the home button again. Try updating again...any difference?

I am not very good at navigating the Iphone so please be patient. I have an Iphone 4S with the latest 6.0.1 and I would like to be able to download some of the apps that require iOS 5 on my iphone. Well, no. It's because that the iPod 4th Gen has iOS 6 and the apps need iOS 7. I suggest that you get the new iPod 5 because it has iOS 7. Also the iPod 4 does not have enough CPU or RAM. The new iPod 5 has enough CPU and RAM to store iOS 7 apps.

I cannot transfer my Ical on my Imac with Mavericks 10.9.2 to my iphone 4 with the latest operating system. I get error message "403" when it attempts to upload to the cloud before transfering to the iphone. I've tried shutting down the computer and iphone but it has not been successful. There is plenty of data available on the icloud as I've not used it for anything else. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Whenever I go to the "Cellular" settings on the main settings page and turn OFF cellular data usage for native apps like mail, app store, contacts, photos etc , the moment I back out and come back in, all the native apps I turned cellular off for are back on again. Exact same question as ankit1986, specifically with the photos while on cellular-only, and as simple as it sounds, I tried the hard reboot Ingo2711 suggested. Still experiencing the same error with the native apps reverting to on. It's killing our shared data-plan (2GB).

I uploaded 3 audiobooks from iTunes to my iPhone 5 with the latest ios7 on it. Each of them only plays the first 15 mins of the playback and then silence, the bar shows the book is still playing but no sound, any ideas? Thanks
What happens when playing the same books in iTunes. Is there sound after 15 min?
If also silent in iTunes, check the info tab where you can see the item is an audiobook, etc. Check the volume bar, this normally is on the zero point.
When an audio book is really low in audio, I tend to move this to the plus side (+1=max), but for some strange reason this bar was at -1 in some books I had and they also seemed to play in absolute silence. -

Have you worked through the Troubleshooting iOS and WiFi knowledge base article? If not, see if there is info in there that might help.
Is the WiFi greyed out on all WiFi networks or just the one? If it does this on all then there may be a hardwaer problem that needs attention from the techs at an Apple store genius bar.
Before that, however, try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if it appears. That clears a lot of iOS hang ups that occur. -

If that won't work, perhaps you can use Find my iPhone from a computer in your iCloud.com account to erase the device.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone. -

If your XP computer was updated, then it should work. Again, the links I posted earlier contain the current USB drivers for the iPhone and Windows. -

Via iCloud on Wi-Fi about ten minutes at the most. Via iTunes, about the same.
Reset your iPhone.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then tap Settings > General > About then scroll to Version. If it says: 7.1.2 then the update was complete.
